thanks dude I had a really bad copy from a guy in Holland who sold me a dvd of many Funk live performances...the overall quality is lousy.....and we are still waiting for Shea Stadium concert...I know that I will die without seeing it....
I Fu@#ing hate lip-synch. Why is it the the engineers of the day couldn't compensate?I remember GF's fight for respectability. Their manager Terry Knight made everything about him, not the band or the music. He also produced Bloodrock-anyone remember? Mark Farner should be proud of this tune- even with the misogyny.
Pretty cool dance video. I really Love Grand Funk and always had a soft spot for this one particular song. Hugh sure did have some great acts on that show.
This is really cool / funny. I have seen this before and the original introduction by Hugh Hefner w/ Tony Randall is pretty weird. It looks like they just threw a drum kit together for Don. It isn't his normal set and they didn't even give him a hi-hat! Despite the lip synching, it's still great to see them in their prime!
Whatever you did to improve quality is-quite impressive.
I love the "psychedelic" dancing, the Messenger guitar in all it Funkiness...it's beautiful man. Thanks for studying and majoring in GFR, I sure appreciate the gifts you share here with us Funk and Farnercentrics!
Actually, I did nothing to improve quality. I simply own the best copies around (very low gens) and this because I've spend a fortune over the years... But, instead of keeping them videos safe in my collection trunk, I felt obligated to share some of the best copies with the rest of the world interested, especially the real fans!
John, I know that there are so many of us that completely appreciate you opening your treasure chest to share with us all. It's a kindness that is uncommon in this money hungry world. You Rock my friend!
@ForReelFunk Hey, I just want to say thanks for sharing your time (and fortune!) to bring these vids back to life. Man, it's a delight to listen to groovy music again and see them live here. This is the first vid I've seen of them doing this song. Dig it! Thanks again, peace.

It was a bizarre show indeed....I think most of the people dancing were on LSD!
Too bad GFR had to lip-sync, they were a great live band.
