  • and how much did it cost along with the other gb sizes

  • i paid $399 when it came out

  • how big is the screen

  • 3.7 inches

  • It has a built in speaker?

  • yes it does, although not a very good one.

  • so is 640x480 better?

  • It depends on the size of the screen. Even though it's technically better to have more pixels versus less pixels, it still depends on the size of the screen. You won't notice a difference if the screen is small enough, but if you plan on connecting the device to a bigger screen, then yes, 640x480 is better than 480x272.

  • Actually, zen vision M -->320x240 zen vision W -->480x272

A normal 4:3 TV has a 640x480-when you connect the zen M to a TV th videos have this resolution.

The advantage of the zen W is that you can connect it to a LCD widescreen TV, achieving a way bigger resolution than when connected to a 4:3 TV,

  • Zen Vision: 640x480

    Zen Vision W: 480x272

    Zen Vision M: 320x240

  • You must feel quite ass****ed not having waited for the the Creative Zen Vision W, muahahaha (the widescreen version which I own).

  • actually, the vision W has a lower resolution.

  • Do redirect me to documentation that supports that statement. Until then I will think of it as utter bullshit.

  • Go to creatives website. It tells you on the corresponding units product page.

    Zen Vision W: 480x272

    Zen Vision: 640x480

  • the W has a lower resolution than the vision.

  • Pwned!

He never replied again. It really must suck being him. Looking all so stupid after that...

  • kewl

  • wayy coola then an ipod

  • how much are they

  • thats fucking crazzzyy!! u can use a remote on it?!?! i was about to buy the iriver media player 20gb but sold out so instead i got a black 30gb ipod video and i love it :D!

  • It's for when you hook it up to a TV. Just makes life a little easier.

  • i dont own one of these. can someone tell me if these can transfer files with just windows explorer? or do i need to use their program?

  • I dont know if you can do it directly with windows explorer. but I don't use their program to transfer music. I use winamp 5.x However for videos, I do use creatives program

  • You need to have at least WMP 10 and install Creative's MTP drivers, from there you can use Explorer to drag and drop music onto the device, you do not need to use WMP itself to sync or any specific software.

  • oohh shit... i dunnowhat to do ¬¬ is the firts Zen layerof that kindthat shows the album art i dunno...i will try and try 'cause i want mine to show the album art... i wantmineto show the album art....:'( sou use now winamp¿?

  • :( mine doesnt whatprogramdo u useto put album art orwhat kindof tag do u use?

  • I just use winamp to load it up with music... I have no idea how it gets the album art on there. It must be part of the ID3 tag or something of the MP3

  • hey how did u dothe player show the album art???

  • I dunno. It does it automatically...

  • The price is a little too steep for me... I'll just stick with the Vision: M. =\
