Luckily, Silverfish only spawn in strongholds, and only spiders in abandoned mines are poisonous. :)

It would have been horrible if Silverfish actually spawned anywhere, and if all spiders were poisonous! O_O

@sonic8888ify Silverfish, they only spawn rarely in a stronghold when you break a stone block. I'm not sure if they spawn anywhere else, but you can look on the wiki.

@minecraftwb Silver fish can only be found in strongholds, because they are their own block and it spawns in strongholds so dont dig in strong holds :P, found out from the Yogscast
