Buckethead's technically an amazing guitarist, maybe even virtuosic. This feels very mechanical to me. I'll get heat for this, but this is my opinion. A guitarist like Pat Metheny or John Abercrombie would've done more justice in the name of Miles.

However, the fact that Buckethead dedicated a song to Miles Davis is amazing in my books.

This version is better than Miles Davis' version, but neither this one or Davis' is anywhere near as good as Paco de Lucia's version. This melody, which Buckethead is playing tribute to, was written by Joaquin Rodrigo. It was NOT written by Miles Davis.

There's only two guitarists I like more than Buckethead, and one of them is Paco de Lucia (the other is Stanley Jordan). Hopefully this song will help turn some Buckethead fans onto Paco de Lucia.
