same thing happened to me i figured out the CO2 wasnt expandind fast enough so i put a penny under the CO2 capsule and the firing pin pierce deeper

@Jscar45 Thanks for the info. Sounds like it could work when I play CQB at inddor places (Rarely), but hard to do out on the field when there isnt always something hard to hit them on.

@SHWELL11 i mainly play cqb so thats the way i use it. if you play field and need to use the pins another trick is to put a dime in the bottom cap to push up the co2 a little.

Nice Video Shwell, we have several on the team. I have one that I keep with me and a bunch of shells of course. I agree with the previous poster that putting a coin under the CO2 helps it a lot, and making sure your puncture pin is adjusted. They are great for CQB or just scaring little kids... :)

Wrap some of that tape that can wrap around threas (dont remember what it is called sorry) and that will fix your problem worked for me

Ive had these for a while and you have to adjust the piercing pin height. Now mine are almost instantaneous after release, good for room clearing.

I have 4 of the cores now, I like them.

for more consistency, just put a coin at the bottom of the unit, it should help puncture the co2 faster and make the thunder B go off.

You'll post a video when you figure out how to make them consistently go off, yes? Because I have the same exact problem, the pin won't puncture the Co2 so it ends up releasing too slow or not at all.

@frailcolin Yes, sometime tomorrow. I have been told that a penny or twon under the CO2 cylinder will raise it enough to puncture it better.

I tried that with a dime, pennies are too big. I didn't get any positive results when I tried though, but it was probably too cold where I live.

@frailcolin The penny was a tight fit, but I was able to get it in there. I just did an initial test and more air does in fact escape, but I failed to tighten things correctly, so the shell did not pop..

Hey Shwell. To increase rates of detonation, try wrapping teflon tape around the threading on the shells. It helps to seal the gas from the Co2. :)
