@TheRelger Actually the supreme commander of the operations was Dwight Eisenhower (american), and overall command of the ground forces was given to Montgomery. So even the american ground forces were under british command. The first wave of canadians on d-day suffered around 50% causalities. The second highest. So to say that we had a much easier time and that americans weren't also under british command shows that you aren't very educated on the invasion of normandy.

There has been good forms of communism that have saved nations from getting bankrupt from the dreadful capitalists and globalists. Che Guevara's communist revolution saved plenty of Latin Americans. TO EVERYONE: Canada is a prosperous country, as is the United States. HOWEVER, there is no dispute that the United States is stronger militarily. Canada has a smaller population, less money, and less infrastructure, however, less military to spend the money on, so it can go towards things like Universal Healthcare. The US has exponentially more money (inb4 you don't understand the concept of "Debt") but has the power and money to police the entire planet and wipe assholes into oblivion. (Part 1)

i'd just like to make a point, i know guys who served in korea, representing the canadian armed forces, i'd like to point out a hill, can't remember its name, but we took it and retook it for the americans three fucking times, and turned control over to the american forces, and they lost it, again and again, oh and last i checked, we win the war games pretty frequently, let me but it perspective, our combat engineers have as much combat training as the american marines,

@TheRelger Actually the supreme commander of the operations was Dwight Eisenhower (american), and overall command of the ground forces was given to Montgomery. So even the american ground forces were under british command. The first wave of canadians on d-day suffered around 50% causalities. The second highest. So to say that we had a much easier time and that americans weren't also under british command shows that you aren't very educated on the invasion of normandy.
