when you tap, both sides of the string (the part between the bridge and your finger, and the part between your finger and the headstock) ring, and it gives you a really dirty note. If you put something on your neck to mute part of it, only the part between your tapping finger and the bridge rings, and you get a much cleaner tone. I just use a rubber band for this, but a hairtie (or whatever that thing is) works too
Donna Lee in the middle? That was really good I think but if you made it a whole song you would need more repetition or something not just a line of riffs but it sounded great, goob job!
