this is not burlesque. it is a choreographed dance. it's fun and well timed but there is no story, no tease, no strip tease( not always neccessary to strip but you GOTTA tease) no comedy, no personalities other than 'look we do cartwheels! how exciting!": you cant just put dancers in tutus and bustiers and call it burlesque. have you guys researched burlesque? cos you know the movie with cher and xtina didnt have any burlesque in it either.

@fontaineism k first of all do you really think a bunch of high school kids are going to strip tease at a dance competition?? this dance was inspired by the movie and is actually a jazz dance not actual burlesque. next time you go to comment on a video make sure you know what the video's intensions are because we didnt intend this to be a strip tease, it was supposed to be pure entertainment and to me it looks like thats what we did.
