  • Tai Chi for dummies

  • I have trained in Shotokan for over 7 years and have recently started training Qi Gong. Anyone with any experience all practicing kata in one of the major martial arts (Karate, Aikido, Tai Chi, Kung Fu, Qi Gong, etc.) can see at a glance that these exercises are designed to channel core energy (the stomach breathing is a dead giveaway). The trolls making inane comments obviously have no martial arts background otherwise they would know this. So just ignore them.

  • @DeathNeedsTime Freind it's possible to be a martial artist and have read the book written by his adopted daughter who revealed his sexual abuse of his female followers and his often abusive nature, plus this hoax was discovered a long time ago. yeah he learned some qigong and some martial arts moves and passed them off as from ancient shamans, and he was still a con artist. You can steal something legitimate and use it for bad ends.

  • Castaneda was a con artist and everything he wrote was not true and he was cult leader. People get educated!

  • blah balh blah!! what the hell do u know?

  • This is shaolin style Chi Qong done the wrong way.

Ths blond woman is looking worse and worse from movie to movie because her energy flow is not corect. They all look horrible......

  • oh so short and tickling is an expert on energy? come now- they all look different and perhaps alien cos they don't look tired and worn out like the rest of us!

  • Usually healthy energy exercises make the faces look vital and full of vibrant energy.

The women in the video look terribly blocked.

How is the white haired woman in front now? Is she still around and healthy?

  • thay are called chacmools, fierce guardians of energy sites, they are beings at war!! u probably have not read any of carlos castanedas books so u won't know or understand...:-)

  • Castanedas called them Chacmols....

you seem to be at war with what Sir?

where in the books exept tensegrity did Juan Matus say these exercises are Chacmools?

  • er, the practitioners in this vid are chacmools, they are at war with the idea of the self.... as i said u really need to have read and studied carlos' books to understand this notion. ;-)

  • infinitiseeker: you seem to be very confused and aggressively egofocused. I am fully aware of the Toltec concept of the self and the warriors way of diminishin of self importance.

But what has that to do with Chacmols and where did Juan Matus say one worf a warrio has o do these "tensegrity" exercises to overcome the self?

  • eh? what are you barking on about short and tickling!! i have neither been agressive or egofocused (did u make that word up?!?) if u read the book magical passes, then that will tell you the answer to the question u asked (where did don juan say one word of u had to do these tensegrity excercises. :-)

signed with a smile as my last comment was, to show kindness

  • infinitiseeker: you don't see it in yourself....very dangerous!

I read all the books of CC were the knowledge of nagual Juan Matus was shown and discussed. Magical Passes is like Tensegrity a later book and DVD were CC tried to sell his personal cult. Juan matus NEVER said anything about Tensegrity movements AFAIK. If he said so please show us!

  • carlos describes in the book magical passes that the magiacl passes were highly secretive, but then it became his decision to let anyone who was interested learn them, he said that he used to refer to them in his previous books as cracking his joints etc, he could not reveal anything aboiut them in previous works. don juan did not permit him to do so. if u dont belive carlos in the end, then u may aswell discount all his other works too imho. ;-)

  • infinitiseeker: sorry. it doesn't FIT AT ALL with the former teachings of Juan Matus who spoke out maybe a hundred times against the obsession with techniques. Obsession with techniques is a reason why the old sorcerers were destroyed ...

  • it does fit, elegantly so, nevermind....

  • That's californication dude.....

Start reading and understanding the lectures of Juan Matus

  • dream of californication!! where can i read and understand the lectures of juan matus dear short and tickling?

  • well...start reading from book one "a yaqui way of knowledge" to the last and skip all those stuff castaneda and his lost diciples wrote after he failed and made up his own girl-school. Understanding tghis heavy stuf is another story. I wrote down th most important parts.

  • how do u know he failed?? what do u base your assumptions on?? every book made utter sense from the first to the last

  • @infinitiseeker

according to the task he had to fulfill he failed. He had to lead a big group of sorcerers but could not because they did not accept him because he is no real Nagual. AFTER THAT he started this tensegrity business in LA

  • read the god damn books !!!! all of them!!! he did not fail!!!! his mission changed!!!! hello???!!!??? is there anybpdy there??!!! for fuck sake!!!!!

  • infinityseeker:

I ask you stop doing those exercises. You are getting weird man and you can not listen to reason anymore.

I am seriously concerned about your health; Sir.

  • good, i cannot listen to reason, if u read don juan you'd know that was a good thing.... how righteous of u to ask me to stop doing these excercises!! who are u to tell me what to friggin do?!? my health is perfect... haven't been ill in ages.. thanks alot. :-)

  • @infinitiseeker A chacmool is actually a stone statue used to hold sacrifical hearts in mesoamerica tied in with human sacrifice.

  • you are the stupidest shaolin I have ever heard in my life. This has nothing to do with shaolin or priests or goats from mars whatsoever. Read some books of castaneda and then come back to critisize what you see.

  • Sir,

I am not a Shaolin I am not stupid but I have practised Mantis Kung Fu a few years and their Chi Kung is very similar to this "Tensegrity".

I read all of Castandeas books and I admire the truth within. But I believe Juan Matus has realized he made a big mistake making this weak character a Nagual. He failed completely and set up a business in LA by adopting Kung Fu energy exercises from his emale disciples who were longterm Kung Fu students. But in the end everything went terribly wrong...

  • o my god the girl in front looks like a evil witch

  • castaneda non è che un plagiatore di povere menti. intorno alui c'erano donne e uomini dallo scarso intelletto come successe per manson. nwe-age-neonazis must die

  • lame ingnorant ... this is our legacy .. stay where you belong

  • Castaneda didn't live all that long. His health habits must have been poor. He was a con-man and pathological liar, who banged a lot of gullible women.

  • Pure magic!
