@lesliejo1962 I've seen some of Lady Gaga's more natural moments ( including a performance when she was still Stefanie) and though she doesn't lack talent she lacks musical personality imo. In Lady gaga's case, developing a big show personality was a wise move on her part but to people who are into music rather than show, this girl outshines LG easily. Unlike LG's this is not a voice immediately forgotten.

We actually had the privilege of being at the Grand Ole Opry the night Crystal performed and let me tell you she was sooo talented, sang beautifully and was cute as she could be. The acoustics at the Opry really showed her talent. I hope and know she will go on to be a huge success!!
Idol can turn in to a popularity contest and lose track of talent. Crystal Bowersox is a talent for those seeking talent. Idol was a way for the people to get to see who Crystal is, and hear her music. A lot of people that will buy Crystals' music would NOT vote on Idol.This gal is the "Mc Coy." Look for her to be around for a long time as a singer, writer, and anything else it takes to get her musical message across.
What I liked about Crystal on AI was the way she carried herself, not being intimidated by where she was and the talking heads who were there to judge her.
I am just so happy for her, like someone said, she brings tears to my eyes everytime I here her sing and it has been that way since the first time I heard her by accident on AI. She deserves the accolades and praise, she is truly an American treasure....

Is it normal that I cannot possibily stop smiling while listening to this? I've never watched AI before, not even living in the States, but I stumbled upon one of Crystal's performances on YouTube and now I cannot top listening to her. OMG! I was just watching MSNBC here in Las Vegas and guess who pops up in the commerical? CRYSTAL AND BB KING! I knew about it but it was so much more amazing to actually see the commericial come up on the show I was watching. This is a beautiful performance and I adore Crystal..she has such beautiful energy and love to give us all and she is a brilliant artist. The women on Idol this year are so NOT HER! There will never be another Crystal Bowersox and I know she will be so famous soon!
I was there and saw it live. The line up that night was amazing as it was but for her to play made the night more special. She was truly humble and she stopped at one point and was so excited about singing in the Ryman Circle. There was not a dry eye in the place. She ran off stage and jumped up and just hugged her husband. I love that there is a video of this. I have been to the Opry many times but this night was electric.
Fabulous performance -- and there's something so strong, warm & gracious about her. She greets everyone with that earth mother manner. She's been through a lot, but steel is tempered by the fire.
Not a big fan of Ms. Bowersox till I watched this I am a huge fan of Mr. Gills because he also sings from the heart. WOW she is something special my wife told me about her but someone else was correct she knocked it out of the park that night. Vince and Crustal would be a perfect duet. She is something special!!!!
IMO you just won the country fanbase if you didn't have it already. Hopefully the powers at Jive will let you do more acoustical tracks in the future.

What I liked about Crystal on AI was the way she carried herself, not being intimidated by where she was and the talking heads who were there to judge her.
I am just so happy for her, like someone said, she brings tears to my eyes everytime I here her sing and it has been that way since the first time I heard her by accident on AI. She deserves the accolades and praise, she is truly an American treasure....

Is it normal that I cannot possibily stop smiling while listening to this? I've never watched AI before, not even living in the States, but I stumbled upon one of Crystal's performances on YouTube and now I cannot top listening to her. Which is saying something, since I really, really don't listen to contemporary music at all. She is simply breathtaking.

OMG! I was just watching MSNBC here in Las Vegas and guess who pops up in the commerical? CRYSTAL AND BB KING! I knew about it but it was so much more amazing to actually see the commericial come up on the show I was watching. This is a beautiful performance and I adore Crystal..she has such beautiful energy and love to give us all and she is a brilliant artist. The women on Idol this year are so NOT HER! There will never be another Crystal Bowersox and I know she will be so famous soon!

I was there and saw it live. The line up that night was amazing as it was but for her to play made the night more special. She was truly humble and she stopped at one point and was so excited about singing in the Ryman Circle. There was not a dry eye in the place. She ran off stage and jumped up and just hugged her husband. I love that there is a video of this. I have been to the Opry many times but this night was electric.

Not a big fan of Ms. Bowersox till I watched this I am a huge fan of Mr. Gills because he also sings from the heart. WOW she is something special my wife told me about her but someone else was correct she knocked it out of the park that night. Vince and Crustal would be a perfect duet. She is something special!!!!
