And u shaid shticks at beg...

No offences I know it's ur accent

  • It looks likes he's smoking a joint at the end.

  • how do you make the hole in the wood?

  • you know how he was spinning the spindle wood (long stick) into a little hole (make sure the hole will not just break apart and that would be the other piece of wood)... Work long and hard to get that hole just as you would for starting the fire as he presented in the video.

  • @SeveredSoul1337 a knife

  • Good job. I need more detail on the notch in the fire board and what type of woods you are using.

  • where did u get the stick and fire wood

  • great job man, informative and to the point

  • Amazing vid. Had success doing this the other night. Took 10 times as long and way more effort. Thanks for uploading

  • Screw the spindle use a 9 volt battery and find steel wool

  • I have one more question. How do you set up the base bord (bottom piece of wood)

  • @funnyvideos7710 If someone answer this question with a video, I'd give him a huge crushing bone hug

  • Thanks a lot

  • That was awesome but how do you move ur hands so fast to do that. I have tried but it wouldent work

  • well what i use i spit in my hands to make mt hands stink to the hand drill spindle so it won

    t skip away

  • oh, the ash comes from the wood.

  • So you need coal too?

  • at 2:23 it looks like he's smoking weed or something!

  • NIce one!!!! All you fucking idiots with the stupid ass comments are clearly retarded. I hope one day you get stranded in the mountains and don't have the ol' Zippo with you. We'll see how tough you retards are.

  • smokers always have it easy they always have a lighter on them ahhhh lives simple lol :)

  • What materials did u use?

  • Great video mate

  • that was prtty cool lol

but what caught my attention was the drops that were falling...was that sweat or sprinkles of rain :P

  • whats the tinder bundel made of?

  • It kinda looked like wool that was pulled apart, but get some kinda small dried up stuff that will catch fire easily, but have something to feed the flame when it starts to burn

  • fire piston easier

  • bic lighter easier

  • hahahaha

  • what is that black stuff!?!?!? why does everyone keep using it!?!?

  • hehe, that's why living is learning :D

  • isnt it liek the charcoal ~_~

  • why do you move your hands down while rubbing? cool vid

  • To apply pressure.

  • u try

  • x man points to u( put in wanted amount good sir)

  • can we use the spidle using any stick thats stright?

the fire board can use any wood?

  • The more dense the wood, the hotter it gets, so dense woods are easier. The problem is really hard woods can pop and shatter.

all have to be dry enough or the water content removes heat from the friction area.

  • if you use a bow to spin the drill its alot easier and faster

  • I'm gonna go try that right now!

  • you will safe alot of lives with your videos not like others that just show you how to a flame

  • you, are a fuckin genius, I think it's awesome you uploaded this.

good job, I cant wait to show someone this one time when im camping

  • Thats awesome! Yeahtt! Fire, !! Fire, !!
