  • OMG MY FAV SONG EVER!!!!!

  • Let's get a movement going on the youtube airwaves . . . to that Lewinsky guy on PBS . . the one that did the DOO WOP LEGENDS . . we need a program for LATIN LEGENDS . . . you all know we have a lot of good ones . . . and they ain't getting any younger . . . maybe someone out there on the airwaves has some clout . . knows somebody that can do something - i know we'll all support it with sales . . . it's for us and our kids . especially for us .. How proud to see them on stage - looking too good

  • I agree with you! A latin legends would do very well!

  • Your request was granted.

PBS did have a program called: Chicano Rock

    December 14, 2008

  • you say my request was granted. I will be faithfully be looking for "Chicano Rock" in the fall of 2009. This is BIG . . . i am 67 years old, going on 68 this year in October., and i stay young with doo wop and latin legends. i was right there .. in the 50's ,, 60's . . i'm not ashamed to blast my music and never will be. i dabbled at age 18 in singing, and almost went to albuquerque nm to record "There is Something on your mind" but my dad prohibited me to go, and there was a lot of respect.

  • PBS filmed a Latin Legends concert in November 2008 with Tierra, Thee Midniters, El Chicano, Trini Lopez and Greg Rollie of Santana. I was there for the filming. For whatever reason, they pushed back the premiere date to Fall 2009. But they did film an entire concert at the Orpheum theater. Thee Midniters played Dreaming Casually & Land of 1000 Dances.

  • this is the most wonderful news . . i will be on the lookout for this. the line up is fantastic . . i can't help thinking there are so many many many more - maybe they'll have a part two someday. PBS will definitely get my money . . and everybody elses that i know. because . . this is BIG. One song that i bugged and bugged for on youtube and got it . . was Jimmy Edwards "Most of All" - check it out . . this is what i am talking about . . . thankyou.

  • See Thee Midniters on Saturday, August 30 at the Santa Fe Springs swapmeet. Two shows for the price of admission. Jimmy Espinoza, Larry Rendon, Bobby Naverette, Bobby Loya, Bobby Robles, Aaron Ballesteros. Romeo...we miss you bro...look down on us with your great smile and send us peace.

  • SWEET SWEET SWEET

  • this is has got to be one of the most firme rolas along with dreaming casually

  • These songs bring back all the memories of my cholo days.
