Agree with some of the views here that Nigel is actually a better candidate because he DIDN'T go straight into politics from university. Problem is, he's SO different..so attractive to the electorate...that he worries me. He's latched onto all the popular consensuses that it sounds too good to be true. I almost got wound up in politics again and I hate democracy for it's deceit towards the electorate. It doesn't matter one bit who gets into power. The global agenda is what counts and not our local issues. Democracy only gives the illusion of choice. I won't be wound into it by him or anyone else.

Well, Jewish people will always favor their own cultural interests to the natives of the country's they live in. British reporters are, as a rule, much harder on their subjects than those in the rest of the English-speaking world. It's considered impolite to hammer an interviewee one-on-one everywhere, but in open forums, the British press is much less willing to allow pols to squirm out of a straight answer than, say, American reporters.
