That had to be the V6 Tempo. The 3.0L Vulcan V6 has 130hp. The 2.3L HSC 4cyl. is only 98hp.

@giannial1985 haha funny, my 2.3l hso motor registered 112 hp stock and 156 hp after intake, exhaust and new rockers, valves and injectors, didnt even add induction system or rebore cylinders/ redo camshafts. plus, 2.3l has a better gear ratio and gets off the line faster, plus it weighs -350 lbs from v6 so it is very possible that could be a 2.3l

@dumbkid1234 Well it's true, lol. I looked it up everywhere. Unless Ford was wrong on the hp. Both the 2.3L and 3.0L tempos use a 3 speed automatic. I've been in plenty of tempos. But only the 4 cyl. They feel slow at first, but are fast when they get up to speed.

that's a first generation Tiburon. They were the slowest of all Tiburons made.

That Tempo is a 3.0 V6, 5-speed, and that engine (Vulcan) was still being used in the 06/07 Taurus' , was used in the Ranger, Aerostars and Windstars too!

Those V6's are the bomb diggity.
