  • P.S

Hi BridlePathProductions! I love this video!

P.P.S I just wanted to compliment on YOUR riding! X3 You are such an outrageously epic rider and I'm not even half the rider you are!!!!

  • @ALL OF THE HATERS WHO COMMENTED

I'd like to see you do that! That horse is amazing and beautiful and that talent goes for the rider too! So stop with all the critique and just enjoy a beautiful and rare duet!

  • I see better when one of our stallions is having a 110% BAD day.

  • get rid of the spurs, the crap in her mouth, see a relaxed tail & head and then I'd be impressed. Poor horse. And don't tell me I don't know anything about horses, I've "been there and done that' - and now know better.

  • @msbreeden be quiet.

  • She is deff amazing, but No horse is ever going to equal Matine </3

  • Amazing!

  • This mare is amazing! What a beautiful pair.

  • It's beautiful, and her extended trot is lovely!

  • Out of curiosity I researched Nadines pedigree. You don't find Arabian till way back in 1924 several generations back where you find FETYSZ OX from that point that line is all Arab. The name Siglavy Bagdady come up twice. Now THAT if I remember is a famous name! :) Its a long way back but its there. :) FETYSZ OX was about 6 generations back in the line of TC Partout, found one Shagya Arab named Jordi in Roemers pedigree about 6 generations back.

  • This is just AMAZING!!!!!!!! Nadine is so pretty

  • omg ur a horse not a bunny rabbit stop hopping around lol

  • cutest part, at 2:24 he sneaks in a little pet on nadines neck :)

  • @dooenn So true! :D

  • You just might be right, but Nadine sure has tons of potential..i get the shivers every time i watch this!!

  • I want to ride her!

  • Have to ask - What is this horses breeding? She is gorgeous!

  • @EquineDreams: TCN Partout x Roemer

  • O___o

  • SHE IS GORGEOUS!!!!!

  • This is what I refer to as "beauty in motion" I love horses and to watch them perform is simply AMAZING! Thank you for uploading the video.

  • @Sniperz14x Then why the hell watch it, and then waste more effort on slandering it?

  • @yyouthofthenationn Well I didn't watch all of it and simply gave my opinion on what I had seen. My opinion wasn't intended to be offensive and was attempted to be justified by stating why I don't like horses. Also this is the internet and no one gives a fuck what anyone says. If you think that it was a waste for me to post a somewhat negative comment on a youtube video then it is equally a waste for you to post a reply. And this is the viscous cycle of wasting time on the internet

  • @Sniperz14x to each their own. There are plenty of people out here who understand it and like it. no need to be rude. but i understand that there ARE rude people (like you) that need to say things to get people going. good day to you too.

  • I love this, thanks for posting!

  • nie rozumiem, czemu ludzie jarają się kłusem wyciągniętym -,-"

  • why do birds suddenly appear :) love that song

  • I love the way the horse's ear flops at 5:15! :)

  • Did you guys see the horse nodding at the end...so cute :)

  • i just lloooooove that horse!!

  • I love it so cute!! Fits the horse perfectly! Fluid movements too

  • That was beautiful and I loved it!!!!!!!!

  • As for whether this horse or Matine is better, I think it's a pointless discussion. Horses at this level are all very good and on a given day one might win or the other might - every one makes mistakes here and there, and it's never sure which one will be best on a given day. Each horse has strong points and weak points, it's the job of the trainer to help the horse be everything it can, and to make sure the horse is healthy and happy and enjoys its work.

  • The piaffe has very little to do with how high the horse's feet go - there is a very minimal requirement for height the legs get raised - some horses bring their feet higher in piaffe than others, each horse's piaffe is a little different than another's. The rhythm, diagonalness of the piaffe and the balance are far more important and the gravest fault is stepping even slightly backward. And Nadine's extended trot is not terrible, but occasionally it is a little exaggerated.

  • did they win???

  • I feel that the spirit of Blue Hors Matine is in this girl too <3 R.I.P. Blue Hors Matine, good luck in the future Nadine!

  • @JustADream2334 I agree totally =)

  • BRAVO to this horse's extended trot. Excellent. My 5 year old is inspired. Cheers!

  • this is the best i have ever seen so on beat

  • I LOVE THIS FREESTYLE!!! It's definitely one of my favorites... I love around 4:45, when she's doing those flying lead changes... I love the music choice, too. You know guys, dressage is a lot harder than it looks! Awesome job, Hans!

  • PURE POWER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • What is the song at 3:38 please it goes into the extended canter, I just can't place it and its driving me nuts. Most gorgeous freestyle, brought a tear to my eye, just so joyful!

  • Nadine is quite a hot mare and can get strong; he does a brilliant job holding her there and getting what he does out of her. She's beauitful, he rides her so kindly and you dont see many mares at the very top so well done to this combination :)

  • Makes me want to ride dressage....

  • What a beautiful choreography and coordination with the music. It brought tear to my eyes because it looked like fun.

  • this is one gorgeous amazing horse :)) tho maybe she has a little too wide a circle for back legs during her piruette but still amazing!! tho if you wanna see the best dressage... look for Blu Hors Matine... she is the dancing queen :))

  • That was beautiful! Nadine is really enjoying herself-her whole attitude is "Look at what I'm doing-isn't this great?" Thanks so much for sharing.

  • I've watched this video a lot and I never noticed till now that at 2:25 h pats the horse on the neck after the extension. I just love that.

  • I never have seen anything more beautiful, she is so precious, she reminds me of my dog.......but bigger, lol...................loved it, more people should see this and enjoy it as much as I did....thank you. :>)

  • Beautiful horse! every move is so smooth and great :D

  • What's the song around 3:38?

  • her passage and piaffe and the best i have ever seen and her extended trots :)

  • beautiful!

  • I love 5:10!

  • the music is from the Carpenters

  • @2002Isaka hey, i could't find that one from the carpenters. could you tell me the name of the song? thanks

  • I LOVE the Extended canter AMAZING

  • alot of passage and ot to much else, but VERy cute little mover

  • You people wanna see REAL dressage? Moorlands Totilas and Edward Gal at the 2009 Kur FEI world Cup Dressage in London Olympia...NOTHING beats that...nothing...

  • It kind of makes me shiver to think about how they train these horses...

  • @JustBecause110 Not all of them. But sadly alot of them.

  • @JustBecause110 why i do dressage and we do nothing bad we use our relationship with our horses to train them to respond and do different things by our leg and body movement !!!!

  • @TheEventer1234 How do you train them to pick up their feet and everything? (I don't mean to offend you) But my grandmother rode western all her life, and I ride english, since I was 2. The way she used to get my horse to give in to the rein was to take a durable split rein and to tie it to his girth and clip the other end to the least harshest part of the bit. Turn his head aorund an dleave him for 20 mins, so he would teach himself. But I didn't like how there was constant contact..

  • @JustBecause110 we start by collecting them to a jog and then keeping the leg on whilst half halting i think what they did to your horse is called roll- kur ! sorry didn't mean to sound cross just wanted to know why you said that but know i understand ! :-)

  • @TheEventer1234 No, it was NOT Rollkur. She would tie his head to the perpindicular line with 2 split reins, one side attached to his bit, and the other to his girth. If he would try to pull on it, it would keep him from it. He was at the proper line. I know all of his history before that, he was Never Rollkur.

  • @JustBecause110 ok sorry

  • HOLY CRAPPPPP! -picks jaw up off floor and pops eyes back into head- THAT WAS HASHING AMAZING!

  • I love this horse! Most of her moves are just amazing! Love the extended's, pirouette was actually a 3-beat canter, her hind is engaged in the piaffe and passage, and my favorite part has to be that lovely, non-rollkur head set and floppy airplane ears!! It must have been a treat to see her -3

  • I'm Not Normally A Great Lover Of Dressage But I Enjoyed Watching This So Much! :D

  • what a great horse and rider relationship... the pat on the neck after the extended trot verifies what was already evident with the musical choices ... very sweet... and a talented team :)

  • @grumpyotter I completely disagree with the passage comment, I think the impulsion is fine, she could possibly sit a bit more behind, but impulsion is good? But agreed, her extended trot just floats! Amazing! :D

  • extended trot gave me chillllsss <3

  • This horse is amazing! The harmony between is horse and rider is very apparent here. The extended trot was performed to perfection in my opinion. My favourite would have to be the flying changes :) The music for the freestyle was fantastic! This is one of the best freestyle tests I have seen.

  • LOL. It is too bad Nadine is not up to your exacting standards - she is ranked among the top ten in the world, and the judges with years of training, feel differently about her piaffe and passage than you do. I also do not feel her passage is lacking any impulsion, or that the piaffe needs more 'vertical' - whatever that means - it is not a standard term to describe any faults in piaffe.

  • @thomasfaltejsek Just from observing this particular rider, I gather that the point of piaffe isn't how high you can get the horses feet to go, it's more about coordination. is that correct?

  • @thomasfaltejsek Then let me educate you, dear. "Vertical" in piaffe refers to how "up and down" the horse's motion is as opposed to "side-to-side." Nadine "swings" her piaffe a bit from side to side rather than being a truly clean vertical motion. I would call out Blue Hors Matine as having a more vertical piaffe. But overall I prefer Nadine simply because her extended gaits always make me gasp.

  • @grumpyotter oh tell the judges about nadine's terrible piaffe, lol. 'Vertical' isn't a judging term for piaffe. The rules define how far up the feet should be lifted; 'side to side' is just due to loss of balance and is called 'swaying' or swinging the haunches - even the best horses make a misstep now and then, but nadine is not consistently swaying in piaffe.

  • @thomasfaltejsek I never said it was terrible--she's a wonderful horse. But yes, in this video at least--she sways!

  • awe wow so nice! im in love with that horse haha

  • @msbreeden...definitely NOT an arabian. warmblood without a doubt

  • no rollkur required. bite it Anky >:]

  • Are you all retarded? The crowd is clapping at both the song (because it's pop and well known) and the fact that her extension is so marvellous. Don't put your two cents in when all you have is yen.

  • sorry that was a core dump....I intended to say Western horses not reigning although they do as well

  • also reigning horses respond almost exclusively off leg cues with minimal hand cues that are almost invisible to the audience....they are both very interesting and entertaining fields and some of the same moves do seem to crossover the lines between them....we have a leopard appaloosa and a Tennessee Walking Horse and they both have their plus and minuses but both are adored by our family

  • @southerngirl....you might just be wrong there....maybe the moves for dressage vs western are just named differently for the different fields??? I know that my horse was a cutting horse before we got him and although I don't know how to elicit the moves and responses from him he does sidepassing and flying lead changes beautifully when someone is on him that does know how or when he is running by himself and just playing....we've seen him do them in "cutting" another horse in play

  • hey please check out my youtube :D its showjumping mainly but horsey folk are all one big family lol :D x

  • Beautiful feminime horse with a lovely extended trot! She looks like shes flying! Just amazing. I can agree with the fact that her piaffe and passage need som work. But you have to look at it from her point of wiew, its a large arena and the audience is very near the horse at all time. The fact that they clap their hands and scream in the middle of the program doesnt calm her down very much. And you can see the rider give her a pat so she most likely was a little tense.

    Lovely horse!

  • Wow this sent chills down My back :)!!

  • This is AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • this is so adorable, i loveeee watching this!

  • amazing

  • @9showjumper I don't agree with you about western horse. Just look at reining horse how much they are responsive to the aids on loose rein. Beside now, in the stats, they have a new dissipline: Western/cowboy dressage witch is a mix of the best of both world : dressage & reining. You could be suprise what you could learn from western training that could help english horse & the other way is true too.

  • beautiful! smooth and graceful!

  • WOW, that extended trot was amazing!

  • goosebumps anyone? <3

  • @grumpyotter YOUR SOOOO SAD

  • i love his flying lead changes

  • OMG That's sooo cute!

  • Sohee die draf! Geweldig beest!

  • floppy ears!!! so cuuuuuuuteeeeee!!!

  • you're never supposed to clap in a freestyle why does people don't understand

  • That looks cool! I want to try ;)

It would be more awesome if I could do this on my own horse, not my moms :/

    (currently riding in gymkhanas, trails)

  • beautiful movement!

  • I recognized close to you and happy togeher in the music. Cute!!!!!!!!

  • I don't think I stopped smiling during this entire thing :) It makes me really want to try dressage (currently ride Hunt)!

  • what is the music during the half pass????

  • omg let's clap every single time the horse goes fast. christ. it is a very cute freestyle though.

  • Comment removed

  • @RMRKatie

I do not believe the applause is because she "goes fast." She has a beautiful extended trot--the best I've ever seen. It seems like she is floating, rather than the "power" extended trots many horses do. Her head is relaxed, her front extension is wonderful, and her hindquarters are engaged--seemingly without effort.

Her extended canter is also lovely.

But her piaffe needs a bit more vertical and passage a bit more impulsion, thus the lack of applause there.

    Overall--great!

  • @grumpyotter Your right, I LOVE her movement.

  • @grumpyotter I agree about her extended trot. I'm trying to decide if she is equal to Blue Hors Matine?

  • @jtaforJesus Such a hard question! I love and admire them both! Matine had the best piaffe and passage of any horse ever--imo--and Nadine has the best extended gaits! Who is to say which is better? RIP, Matine. Such a sad loss. But Nadine will apparently be bred in the spring--won't THAT be fun!

  • @grumpyotter Yes, the loss of Matine is very, very sad. I wasn't aware of it =( But how great we can watch over and over, the videos of this great horse dance!!! I'm sure Nadine will bear another winner...it will be a wonderful thing! =) Thank you for responding to my question...I still don't know either...I love them both!

  • @jtaforJesus me too. although the technique might be a bit better on Matine, it seems more effortless with Nadine

  • @jtaforJesus No body is up to THAT standard ROFL

  • This lovely horse move beautifully, and loves to work with the rider pity the spirs did alot of the commants. but beautiful just the same

  • Comment removed

  • @JazHeartsEmos The spurs in dressage, when properly used--as they are here--are not used to dig into the horse's sides, but to give her very precise signals that the rider would not be able to give with just the heels. If you watch carefully, you'll notice that the rider moves his spur to a specific point on her sides depending on what movement he is asking her to make.

This is an example of the beautiful understanding possible between human and horse.

  • hahaha, reading the comments made me laugh. =) this is a very happy and probably very spoilt horse. and she deserves it, she did a great job. She's not in pain or agony or discomfort. She's fairly relaxed, and she was concentrating, alert. Which shows a happy healthy horse. I find no fault at all. go babble to the phsyc wardens if you're upset about it.

  • what is the music during the extentions and half pas???

  • for those who think dressage is cruel- A horse is very strong and if you do something it doesnt want you to do, youre going to know about it, they willk buck till you are off, is this horse bucking? no, also if a horse is stressed or uncomfortable, its ears would be back and weirdly some horses bash their hoves to gether, this horses ears are pointed forward and doesnt look worried atall.

  • Wow, he makes all that look easy and efortless when I know there is a lot of hard work and training for Dressage. His mare did great as well! I can't wait to start riding my Andalusian mare in Dressage, I'm really anxious about it. I should be starting this summer vacation. I've already started the ground work for Dressage and that is kind of hard but then it's easy at the same time. In my opinion. -Yes I do believe his horse lives a happy life with him! She looked really comfortable.-

  • lol this is from the cadbury chocolate tv ad... love it

  • im sure the horse lives a comfortable and happy life with her owner and is treated like a princess every day. besides, horses usually get turnout time which allows them to run around free in a paddock for a while.

  • She wouldn't get her massages in the wild... She would wonder what happened!

  • Reading through the comments here I can't believe that some of you are so incredibly mis-informed. This is a fine example o a very happy very adjusted horse who looks extremely relaxed at what is being asked of her. Carrying herself in this way does not and will not harm her body she is carrying herself perfectly building up muscle in all the correct places. She does not use her skeleton to hold herself but uses muscle power. Wish my horse was this obedient - sadly not - she is a free spirit!!!

  • @sophietrevallion You are so right! And there is a reason dressage horses live a productive life well into their late twenties... it is all of this proper muscle development. Ignorance is bliss for those that are close minded to the various riding disciplines. I like to refer people to Cowboy Dressage... since most critics are western riders. I appreciated your comment!

  • The movement at 5:14 is called a flying change done only in canter when they change the leg they lead with.

  • Gorgeous. A fine example of a very happy, relaxed and totally balanced mare.

  • dressage is all about connection and relationship between horse and rider. This horse obviously loves doing what shes doing sure she was not intended to do that int he wild but we weren't intended to do lots of things we still do them and love to do them.

  • omg this is sooo cute!

  • Does anyone know why they didn't make it to the dressage freestyle at WEG? his freestyle is much better than many I saw there! He definitely should have been there.. Why didn't he qualify?

  • @MrGabeismyBabe

Possibly because the horse and rider arent that experianced or didnt qualify. WEG is made up of different teams from different countries comepeting against each other so the team needed the best riders they can find.

  • @McCormickstablez

Thanks! but i looked it up and they did make it to WEG. But in.. i believe it was the special.. His horse did a huge capriole (don't know if that's spelled right). so obviously he didn't qualify for the freestyle after that!!! look it up. i think its on youtube

  • awww thats soooo cute, i kno this music from somewhere, i just cant remeber where i heard it before but i have lolll xx

  • @alliegirljls13194 'Why do birds suddenly appear, every time you are near....'

  • @ytapple16 ye i remember now :) i heard it in the simpsons movie lolll

  • It wouldnt surprise me if the horse learned the programme- I know my mare does. Always makes me laugh during competitions. I love watching how horses shine when they do their job that they love, wether it be dressage, jumping, driving, cross country, western or anything else.

  • amazing stuff! :)

  • amazing stuff! :)

  • this is amazing!

  • this is so cute! it looks like tho horse is dancing! =]

  • this horse is so flowy and beautiful! She movees like shes on clouds =)

  • that was ADORABLE!!!!

  • This is so cute!

  • That was absolutely gorgeous. You can only say, that horse loves what it does. That was amazing, spectacular, awe inspiring. What a partnership.

  • One word.

    AWWH!

    <3

  • See the horse bobbing his head to the beat (well I guess the rider is making it do that but .. still) and the horse isn't obviously absoloutly hating it...... May not want to do it that much, but at least it looks relaxed!!

  • The horse's movements were in perfect time with the music which is just so cool, the choreography was well done, cute and fun. That horse didn't have her ears back at all and I can tell that she thoroughly enjoyed working for her master. Horses are big enough to rebel but a relationship with their human will make them supple enough to do anything asked. If she didn't enjoy it, you would be able to tell.

  • That horses legs go on for miles! LOL!

  • this horse is soooo gorgeous. and its good to see how relaxed she is in her mouth and movement :)

  • This is amazing...I get goosebumps every time I watch it...her extensions are incredible! =D

So what it's not a perfect test...there's so much character it doesn't matter! They work so well together. Brilliant.

  • this is adorableeee

  • 4:02 :))

This video is amazing, they're a great pair! LOVE LOVE LOVE

  • It takes me two days to find the title of music from ab. 4.10 and I found it - Herman's Hermits - No milk today ;-)

  • It takes me two days to find the title of music from ab. 4.10 and I found it - Herman's Hermits - No milk today ;-)

  • does anyone know the name of the music he used I know the first song but what is the rest called or is a composure made just for him and his horse.

  • Itś the carpenters, I don remember the name.

  • This horse is very lucky. By appearance only, she is treated very well and trained very well. I'm sure she gets plenty of turn out, or else horses tend to be a little bonkers. Her movement is absolutely fluid, round, and beautiful. I don't know a ton about dressage but what I do know is that she is NOT being abused. She is enjoying herself, listening to the crowd the music and her rider. AND her neck is acutally at a very good place. No rollikur (spelling). I get so tired of seeing that . Bravo!

  • I love Hans Peter and Nadine! Amazing to see them in person during WEG!

  • really really cool music.

  • @msbreeden This horse shows no body language of anger or anything. Its probably an arabian so its head remains the way it is. And its watching its feet, because those are difficult steps. This animal more than likely lives better than some people; they aren't allowed to enter if they aren't of proper care and treatment. If you want something to whine over about horses go to the slaughter videos. Then you can tell everyone this horse isn't living well enough.

  • @Kumaule Arab horses are never used in dressage as they are too straight. Its a warm blood of some sort the best horses to use for dressage - beautifully round.

  • @sophietrevallion I know this is a older comment but I have to respond.

Look up KB Omega Fahim++++ and think again dear. Gran Prix Egyptian Arabian. He isn't as good as this horse but he and his daughter and pretty darn awesome. Also look up OKW Entrigue+++. Plenty of Arabians do dressage and are good at it.

  • @sophietrevallion uh True this is not an Arabian but do not say Arabians are never used in dressage. I suggest you check out the playlist on my channel of Arabians doing dressage. (and other things Arabians supposedly can't do). That said Nadine is gorgeous. Oh and a few Arabian stallions are qualified as Trakhener sires, so its POSSIBLE there might be a little Arabian blood back in the pedigree somewhere. (see comment below this one also) I do love this performance by Nadine. Shes gorgeous!

  • oh so pretty! hear the crowd roar.
