• wow... i just can't believe it!!! My grandmother died of cancer too.... and that was a very hard time.... i can't imagine being newly wed.... wow!!!! God gives us strength!!!! Yeap...

  • That is such a beautiful testimony.

  • Wow! Praise You, Jesus! Thank you, Jeremy for sharing your testimony.

  • HE IS A NARNIAN WHO LIVES IN NARNIA

  • Praise God!!!

  • Truly gifted with a talent for music to bring others to Jesus:) I <3 Jesus!

  • I love how god uses people.. SO beautiful.. I just wish everyone would accept the beautiful plans he has for us.. Yeah theres hard times with it of course how else would we learn?? But imagine the joy you feel every morning knowing "If god is for you who can be against you?" It's a beautiful feeling.. He can use us in loving beautiful ways if we just gave him the desires of our heart.. If only. God Bless You.<3

  • I love this! im using my friends account so i can say how amazing to have faith like that. we have such amazing faith for we havent seen Him but to believe is so amazing because He shows his presence everyday(:

    -Sara Baker

  • love this testimony wow

  • Here is a fantastic music video that the Christian world will love! It's called "Don't forget about the walk." It was written and created by a small town pastor that is also making a feature film and has written four books. You don't want to miss it! You can go to his website by going to alanmakimusicDOTcom or search for Alan Maki on youtube. It would only take a second to look and I promise you wouldn't be let down. Look him up! He has wonderful devotionals and an app too!

  • God has used JC's testimony to reach others for Jesus and used a hard time he went through to cultivate Jeremy's love for God up grow even greater. When God is your dad, even when hard things happen in life He works things out for your good and His glory in the end :)

  • I can't imagine going through something like that. The Lord sure does give amazing strength!!!!

  • JC ROCKS 4 JC

  • pearcings are good for christians !

  • i still remember when you came to the ohio state fair several years back and you shared your story i cried. love the songs. keep strong!

  • aww so sad it makes me want to cry. I have a friend I go to church with she had cancer last year was on everything all kinds of medicans and the doctor kept telling her and her family that she wasn't going to make it but every week at church we prayed and believed and to this day she is alive and doing great. i thank God. Just keep believeing. i have two friends know one just lost her aunt do to cancer and my bros gfs grandma has cancer. i am staying stong and that is all we can do somtimes

  • fag derp

  • This comment section looks like a war zone between two of Gods people. It's always disturbing to see how members of the same faith can have so many different interpretations of the same book and both think they are right. When you quote scripture from the same book which is the Word of God your both right. The problem seems to be that one of you thinks the artist is prostituting his gift. Sounds to me like he is worshipping his God. You both risk standing in judgement of a brother in Christ!

  • God is amazing! He is so good to us!(:

  • wow hes cute

  • I used to go to church all the time. But I'm so ugly no women would give the time of day. The church and the world thinks I'm a dog.

  • @crumbtrey You think you've got problems; watch Nick Vujicic: Life Without Limbs

  • Scripture on not enduring sound doctrine: 1 Timothy 6: 5—6 Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself. 6 But godliness with contentment is great gain.

Matthew 13:22 He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful.

  • Scripture on not enduring sound doctrine: Mark 10:23 And Jesus looked round about, and saith unto his disciples, How hardly shall they (hard it is for those) that have riches enter into the kingdom of God!

Luke 18:24 And when Jesus saw that he was very sorrowful, he said, How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God!

  • I never would have thought that Jeremy's testimony was this. I cry for his lose and praise God that Jeremy is at a place that he knows there is a purpose for his life. No matter how bad we feel and how brokenhearted we are, the Lord shows us he is the only one that can make us feel whole again. Yes, the lord is the only one that can help us through such a fiery storm and come out and be PRAISING THE LORD.

  • subtitle in italian?... : (

  • oh my... is someone chopping onions?

  • "For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life"-John 3:16. So that "EVERYONE" who believe in Him. Not: " certain people who do this, this, and this". It's not about rules, but your relationship with Christ. Romans 7:6 tells us as such. Jeremy Camp is making this all about him? All of your post are so condescending and all about you. One last thing: you say God has matured you. So you fight on youtube?

  • Man what is with the fighting between Christians? Can't you see it is Satan getting in between you and your brothers and sisters? How is this not a testimony? You always remember the stuff that brings you closer to God. This was a rough time in Jeremy's life that God helped pull him through. Sounds like a testimony to me. Music is used for worship unless you consider worship just something to entertainment. And how can you say God's gift is conditional yet say you have read the bible?

  • Wow. Jeremy's passion in his music is so very inspiring to my faith, and it's humbling to see this testimony and the loss he's suffered, all the while clinging to God. His music is a huge blessing to me. Whadda voice! Thank you for sharing your story with us. Blessin's to you.

  • That's Sad :(

  • What is with all this debating and hating? Can't we unite as believers instead of arguing over things that our God in whom we trust has all the answers to?

I will humbly remind you to not forget about the greatest commandment of ALL (this is what JESUS SAID) to love your God with all your mind, soul, strength. AND equally important to love your brothers and sisters.

Read Romans 14! Build one another up! :) Bless you guys!! LOTS of LOVE!

  • Wow. It's amazing!

  • Our testimonies change all during our lives if we are in covenant with the Lord. I heard the Melissa testimony years ago and hopefully Jeremy Camp will come out with a new, updated version of a testimony. There's always new revelation in a believer's life who's in covenant. This is how God breathes life into people, through giving them the new creation testiments of death to flesh (the makeup, the jewelry, the riches of this world...)

  • WOW, I am in tears! Melissa praised God, even during her battle against cancer. I hate that damn illness, I hope that God will soon provide a cure for it through all of the scientific research that is being conducted!

  • Great video

  • I like his testimony... It was sad... But lead him to christ... (;

  • I lost my arm to cancer at 14...but God didn't do it to me...it did it FOR me...and now he's blessed me with the ministry of touring as the keyboardist for a national Christian act. I would never be able to reach and speak to the people I am able to minister if it weren't for what happened.

  • I'm sorry. God's ministry is NOT all about us. I once listened to and enjoyed JC music, please don't misunderstand. But, there comes a time when God opens your eyes to see what He sees, and He sees souls falling into hell.

  • @SwordofSpirit1 I just read everything you posted and I agree with you except in the fact that this is a testimony. Testimonials are used to help others see the truth so that they may be saved. This Video is not entertainment. At the same time worship the way you feel like you should worship but do not tell everyone else that JC music is wrong. Remember pull the log out of your own eye before you go pulling on the splinter that's in your brothers/sisters eye.

  • @slushomatic God wants for us to put away the lusts of our youth and move on to the strong meat. You live according to your flesh. You are still on the milk and you want to be entertained. This is not a testimony. We are not unique in our issues in life. JC is not saving souls by entertaining with soulish music. The fact that he has not moved on in his testimony, he's still stuck on the Melissa story, and his "ministry" is about him is all the proof that we need.

  • @SwordofSpirit1 Please present to world with the documentation to back up the statement that you just made that his ministry is about him. I would love to see how he has not moved on in his testimony since melissa, you do know that he is married again and has two children now right. and you do know that he is still singing songs that give God glory and honor right. Just because he has not released a new testimoney of his whole life since his last video testimony does not mean he is "stuck"

  • @pshea86 The main choices that we have are to serve God or Satan through our flesh. Testimonies about how the riches are being given away to the oppressed would be a great testimonial start. You need to read Colossians, Galatians, and Ephesians. :-)

  • @SwordofSpirit1 I lile how you tell me that I need to read scripture when I do daily, I like how you twist the scripture to bring personal gain to your life and to create a stumbling block for others. If you feel convicted to not listen to JC than that is your conviction. maybe some of the other people listening to this are not "mature" as you are and still need this. did you think of this?... I bet not or else you would shut your condemning mouth. There is no scripture that says listening cont.

  • @SwordofSpirit1 to CCM or JC music is ungodly and is worshiping a false god. You remember David in the bible who played the hard for saul? hes people thought that David was great beecause he did so many great things and according to your difinition that made David an idol worshiper because he was all about himself, even in his psalms he talk about his struggles. but I seem to remember that the bible says that david was chosen by God out of all his brothers. so where are you getting your facts?

  • @SwordofSpirit1 Also for reference I went to swordofthespirit1 personal page and saw the spewing of false heresies where he practically makes himself to be one with God because of all his spiritual knowledge. after I confronted him with irrefutable evidence that what he was saying was lies and blasphemy he blocked me so that I was no longer able to contact him on his page!!! does this sound like someone that is trying to hide from the truth but proclaim that he has light? I think so.

  • @SwordofSpirit1 and as you said before that satan can turn himself into an angel of light, I would say that you are making yourself to appear as that to the whole world of you tube to see. The bible says to be aware of the wolf in sheeps clothing lest he devour you. Follow your shepherd which is Jesus. Do not listen to this man or his false teaching because it will lead to eternal damnation. Do not follow me because I am not Christ, and anyone that says he run far away for he is gull of lies!

  • @pshea86 Everybody knows. I've already posted Scripture. People choose the god or God that they want to serve. Tattoos, jewelry, makeup, riches, electric instruments, etc. are all worldly, which equals the god of this world, idolatry and Baal. The god of this world is Satan. And even he can transform himself into an angel of light.

  • @SwordofSpirit1 You really need to shut up. please tell me where in the bible it says that a JC music is wrong? you said to me that testimonies are about how riches are given away to the oppressed. If you read you bible which you claim to do you know that the bible cant say anything that contradicts its self. the bible tells us not to brag about what we give, so this puts a massive flaw in your statement. it also says that if your right hand knows what your left hand is doing to but it off.

  • @pshea86 Acts 13:45-46 But when the Jews saw the multitudes, they were filled with envy, and spake against those things which were spoken by Paul, contradicting and blaspheming.

46 Then Paul and Barnabas waxed bold, and said, It was necessary that the word of God should first have been spoken to you: but seeing ye put it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, lo, we turn to the Gentiles.

  • @pshea86 The main choices that we have are to serve God or Satan through our flesh. Testimonies about how the riches are being given away to the oppressed would be a great testimonial start. Read the Corinthians, Colossians, Galatians, and Ephesians. :-)

A Gentile is someone who's never received the gospel Truth. Pharisees scoffed at Paul and Barnabas.

  • @pshea86 @pshea86 Here's Scripture: 1 Timothy 6: 5—6 Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself. 6 But godliness with contentment is great gain.

Luke 12:48 But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.

  • @pshea86 It's Baal worship to suppose that we are given riches in order to entertain. We have Jesus and His apostles to prove that. They taught repent and live. Their testimonies were not all about themselves and a sick loved one. In truth JC's "testimony" is truly about God's sanctification process. Did he ever mention it?

  • @pshea86 Luke 12:48 But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more. Have a good one. :-)

  • @slushomatic I know what God spoke to me, and the message was to put away the baby toys and make no provision for the flesh. Why don't you just go to a Todd Bentley revival or join his classes on holy spirit school, since you seem to have a man made fear of God and move according to a man made precept and tradition???

  • @SwordofSpirit1 If that is what God has spoken to you than that is what God has spoken to YOU AND YOU ONLY about. if God wanted us to all think as arrogantly and narrow minded about things as you do He would have had it written in the Bible for us. Put your baby toes away of "Each esteeming himsilf high than the other" look it up it in the Bible, you will see that ever aproach that you have taken has been based off of what God spoke to you about and no biblical background.

  • @slushomatic It's not a log in my eye. Thanks for your condemnation. Why don't you try looking in the mirror? This is something that God showed me. Entertainment is entertainment. When I was a babe in Christ, I had lots of JC CD's. One day the Lord dealt with me in Scripture (fire baptism) and convicted me about soulish music. I'm pretty sure that all you people attacking my comment work for youtube to try a stir up strife.

  • @SwordofSpirit1 Actually it is because Im not the one that is condemning people for listening to this. And Honestly I dont think you understand what fire baptism really is (holy ghost baptism). I never once condemned you just pointed out that your condemning others for listening to this. I just recommend that you read 1st Corinthians Chapter 8 where it talks about being a stumbling block to others. This is why I spoke out to you to correct you in love.

  • @SwordofSpirit1 Also You ever think that the ones that are already saved do not need provision to help kill the flesh? How do you know then that God didn't lay this music on their hearts to make? You seem to be on a shadow mission to be honest my brother. Judge not least you be judged, and by what ever standard you judge by, you , yourself will be judged by that same standard. Let the ones that need the "JC" music listen to it without judgment from others as they do not see it as a sin but help.

  • @SwordofSpirit1 And you obviously do not know about "Fire baptism" either because it is when Jesus spirit over takes your body and burns off what is not fruitful and productive. You got convicted about your "soulish" music because you did nothing with it, living lukewarm and making God sick to His stomach. Also why would you tube even care what anyone says on here. it doesnt affect them at all.

  • @SwordofSpirit1 There is nothing wrong with this comment. Listen to a person with spiritual eyesight. Then you can take it before God and ask Him about it. There's nothing wrong with this, it is right on target, and I am NOT coming back here to defend it again. If you would like biblical proofs, then pleas PM me. But, I won't play your demonic game. Generating warfare over an innocent comment like what I made is from the enemy.

  • @SwordofSpirit1 and lastly, there is absolutly 100% wrong with this comment, you say you have spritual eyesite. If indeed you did have spiritual eyesight you would have not taken made such blanket statements concerning the issue of ministry or not, you would have given you biblical references for your statements while making them. And you would not call what others are saying to you to show your heard heartedness to the work of worship demonic, and generating warefare over an innocent comment.

  • @SwordofSpirit1 The comment that you made was not innocent in any manner it was attacking a fellow Christian because he does not work the same way that you do. If you can remember in your Bible (that is if you have read it) there is a passage that talks about people healing who were not chosen by Jesus, and Jesus' response was pretty much, whats it matter? your all on the same team, the heal to bring glory to me. So my Question is to you, can you prove that JC's bout JC and not Jesus? I doubt it

  • @pshea86 That's why He sent His Son to be mutilated and martyred for those whom chose to follow Him. His gift is CONDITIONAL. We can choose to either stay on the milk or to grow when He shows us that it's time to grow up, spiritually. God does have kingdom work for His followers and THAT'S how His power and ministry works.

  • @pshea86 Well I'm sorry to hear that you feel that way, BUT there does come a point and time when God opens up our eyes to see that all of this entertainment is just that and it keeps us in the flesh. So, all that this really means is that I have allowed God to spiritually mature me. God expects growth. Nobody has the Big Jesus. We all have spiritual growth testimonies.

  • @SwordofSpirit1 What you are telling us and the whole world is that you see what God sees, and you can judge someones heart and intentions. I just want you to know that that is a slap in God's face that you claim to know what God knows. If you feel that JC's music is about entertainment then DONT LISTEN TO IT, but there are others, such as myself who if they had not heard the song that was written after his wifes death that would have commit suicide! Thank God for people like JC who can rise

  • @SwordofSpirit1 after taking a massive blow and still further the kingdom of God! Unlike people like you who are content to bash others that pursue God through worship that you do not agree with. If you want to present Biblical evidence that can prove that JC's music is not worship and is "entertainment" than do it. I will then take that same scripture and prove to you that a church building, Bibles, and anything other than the physical Jesus standing right infront of us is also "entertainment"

  • It's not a joyous moment. This is the lust of the eyes, of the flesh, and the pride of life. What would JC do if he were stripped of all his worldly possessions, including his musical getup? We progress in faith, not remain stagnate. It's not about us. There is a great sense of urgence and JC is ENTERTAINMENT.

  • @SwordofSpirit1 That is a question that remains what would he have done had he not had his musical getup? But IT DOESNT MATTER, he took what God had given him, and used it to glorify Him more. God gave him the ability to worship, so he was a worship leader, he honored God by marrying someone who loved to worship, God took away his wife, and he worship Him through music that spoke of the hurt the he felt and the relief that God gave. WHO ARE YOU TO JUDGE?

  • @pshea86 Who are you, Lord of the demons???

  • I wish he had a better testimony than this me me me, everything's all about me (playing here there and everwhare, I just love my musical instrument).

It's carnal. This is why Christians are criticized for the Jesus that they supposedly serve. If it feels good, it must be good. This is actually Mystery Babylon.

  • @SwordofSpirit1 Where in JC's testimony did it say "If it feels good, it must be good"? In case you did not know the history of the church, classical music was played in church until it was decided that the music was bringing praise to the performer that praise to the God who created Music. Can you honestly say that JC's music is about self and not about worship and praise to the God that gives and takes away. JC had the chance to leave the music scene but he didnt. What part of singing about

  • @SwordofSpirit1 pain and loss feels good. JC could have gone secular or sang songs full of empty meaning. read the lyrics of his songs and tell me that they are not about pointing others in the direction of Christ. Unfortunately for you the Bible says let everything that has breath praise the Lord, and another passage that says to make a joyful noise unto the Lord. On key, off key, rock, rap, country, gospel, classical, whatever as long as it is made to give praise and Glory to God who cares?!!!

  • Who CARES about Melissa? That was God getting J's attention.

We all go through this. It's not monumental. He can do a better job of testifying how God led Him to serve specifically. Music is not saving souls. It's entertaining. IT'S A SIDEBAR, NOT A "MINISTRY." Witnessing is sharing the gospel of the truth (about a covenant with Christ).

  • @SwordofSpirit1 How did you accept Christ as Savior? I sure hope that it was not from your parents, or from your pastor at a building they call church, I hope you didn't read about it in your Bible.

If you accepted Christ from any other way than Jesus directly appearing in front of you in the flesh and asking you to accept His gift of salvation straight from his mouth, you were saved from A SIDEBAR NOT A MINISTRY. Tell me why the Bible was written, pastors preach, and buildings to worship in?

  • @SwordofSpirit1 accourding to you all, those things that are not the direct word of God Himself are sidebars and not ministry. Who are you to judge God's intentions? I didn't know that you were equal to God and knew His thoughts and heart. You are acting as though you are holier than though. Donating food to the poor according to you is not a ministry because it is only helping people to continue to live in the flesh. I think you really need to re-evaluate your statements.

  • @SwordofSpirit1 When I read about Job in the Bible it was about Me me me. God allows hard things to build character in us. JC's was not about "playing here there and everywehre, I just love my musical instrument". if you actually listened to the words that were being said instead of judging him you would have heard the reoccurring word of worship. If he worshiped God by singing who are you to judge yet AGAIN? see how you would react after having your spouse taken 4 months after marriage?

  • THERE IS ONLY ONE GOD WHO IS THE GIVER OF LIFE AND DEATH,HIS ONLY SON IN ALL OF THE WORLD IS ALIVE IN ALL OF US,WHILE WERE HERE ON EARTH RETHINK OF HOW U TREAT OTHERS THAT DONT DESERVE YUR CRUELTY,A BATTLE IS NOT WEIGHED ON HOW U LIVE BUT ON HOW U BELIEVE,WHO U ARE WILL SOONE OR LATER SHOWS YUR TRUE COLORS,ANGLES PRAY TO OUR LORDGOD JESUS MASSIAH,THIER ARE MIRACLES GIVEN BY HIM,HIS SON,AND OUR HOLY MARY,VIRGIN MARY OUR MOTHEROF PEARLES DOES GRANT MIRACLES,IF U BETRAY,THEN U KNOW THE CONSEQUENCES

  • i spent most of last yr in the hospital because of cancer... i was diagnosed last yr at 25 n it was hard to tell my kids and put them thru it.. but by the grace of God i have a new chance at life and my kids have their mom again... i used to listen to walk by faith and here in your presence all the time in the hospital God chose u and blessed u with an amazing gift bcuz ur music gave me hope n comfort thru those hard times....

  • I've been a Jeremy Camp fan for a while. I've seen him live once and now this testimony has changed my life. Jeremy Camp is such an inspiration and this story is an inspiration in itself. God is SOOOOOO good. He is all we need.

  • Great video. Thank you for adding something decent to Youtube that actually makes it worth watching!

  • Hey, Check out "His Prints Are in the Sand" at chanceman4. Also use the link to noisetradedotcom for the full version and the new CD, which you can buy at whatever price you want...pretty good deal!

  • This is an awesome testimony! God is good and He works in mysterious ways sometimes. This is such an inspiration to me because I have been going through a tough time lately. Thank you Jeremy! You rock!

  • Awesome testimony. Praise Him. Jeremy, you and Melissa have touched so many lives. I'm sorry she passed , you know you will meet her some day(looks to be real soon) and there will be so much love there

  • Testimonies are suppose to build us up and encourage our walks with God. As I read the comments below it breaks my heart to see that Satan can use someone so full of scripture to divide and discourage us to loose the understanding the real meaning of this testimony. Maybe we should re-watch the video and thank the God that we serve that Satan was not able to destroy someone, but God was able to develop Jeremy into an amazing worship leader for HIM!

  • @outofmind4god as Scripture says, we must always be on guard, for the evil one can capture even the most righteous in an unguarded moment. Your comments on the Jeremy Camp testimony are an inspiration. God be with you!

  • amazing story.

  • i know a girl in my life as well i see her and its unbelieveable how she is God... she changed my life and so one day i wondered who will i spend the rest of my life with... she was the first one to come to mind God i wish i had a pasion for you like hers!

  • what song is that at 5:10?

  • Hallelujah! Hallelu HaShem! Hosannah!

  • you are one strong man Jeremy, its amazing how god gave you the syregnth to endure all that and still praise.

  • I love the way he was able to continue trusting in Christ after such a tragedy.

  • great testimony! so sad that you lost your first love! she had natural beauty... looks like both inside and outside! glad that you've found true love again with benjamin's gate lead singer.... did you meet her at festival con dios? at chicago? rock on jeremy camp!

  • This video always encourages me. I love watching it. It's just so amazing.

  • We don't know the time ,that we are going to die..soo the best way it is following Jesus with pure hearts trough the word of god..we are here to learn with joy nd sorrows! The best part of our lives when we worth the difficulties ,because with them that we grew up!So be humble that windows comes soo fast to win this world!Peaace!jesus forever!

  • @Riana718 no BUT The Word states that we Ask, believe and Receive... Christ says also that he came to save all and to condemn no one. So what is your point. We are not predestined before birth. Well we are all destined for Hell and by making a faith pledge to accept Him as Lord and Savior then we are Heaven bound.

  • @Riana718 Arminians and Calvinists will be in heaven, though many a Arminian may be there with there coattails on fire. Selfrightousness whether it comes from a confessing Calvinist or Arminian should not come from someone who has the priviledge of being called a christian

  • @Riana718 Why would you say such horrible things. You do not know if she was saved or not!!!!!!!!!!

  • I shared this with my husband Richard...He was like wow...We were best friends & didnt like to be apart....My husband Richard & I just had a baby June 25,2010 & he had his 40th b-day on July 2,2010..July 9,2010 we moved to our new place...Then 2 days later he passed away in his sleep...I found him dead...

  • jeremy camp is a wonderful man.

  • Riana is your typical Calvanist. John 3:16

  • @Riana718 You're an asshole.

  • :*(

  • I have no words.....we can experience such pain on this earth that is personal to us, but by the GRACE of God there is always light. The greatest gift God has given us freely is LOVE.

  • god had a different plan for jeremy thank god for his reasons

  • Lord I pray so much for my niece Ruth, 21 months old, diagnosed with leukemia 4 months ago. Thankyou for my brother and his wife and 2 girls (to be 3 girls in 3 days time)...thank you that they are true christians who follow you with all their heart. Please i ask honour that....and at the same time i pray and lift up Jeremy to you...a servant of God. Thank you for him and all those you show your love to through him and others like him. Thank you for his wifes release in heaven. AMEN

  • This is sooo sad. Iam a perfect stranger to them, and yet i have total compassion for them. :(

  • God is God....... he has control of everything!

He's the God who gives...and takes away........

  • it really made me cried, this is indeed a precious testimony. i`m really amazed at their close friendship with jean luc, the type of friends you`d love to have around

  • This is nice and touching, but i have a question. If god is perfect, omnipotent, all-forgiving, and such....why does he need to be praised all the time??

  • @0raluvin

He does not need it, but we want to praise Him because for all he has done for us! :)

  • @Wolf9216

Okay, hey would you mind if I asked more questions? Even though I just asked one, I just have general curiosity about god and Christianity.

  • @0raluvin

Of course, feel free to ask!

I am from norway so sorry if my english is bad!

  • @Wolf9216

    Thank you =]

Okay so first question, why is faith good?

  • @0raluvin

Faith is what I think is very hard to explain.

To have faith is to believe no matter what happens.

Its like having faith in a friend.

    Was that good enough answer?

  • @Wolf9216

Without hope their can be no faith.

  • @tdavisjr69

    I don't really understand...

  • @0raluvin

Without a mother their can be no child born. Her womb brings forth the child!

Hope this helps you. God bless!

  • @Wolf9216

Oh yes, a fine answer indeed. I just believe it would be so much easier if 'god' communicated directly and we positively knew, without a doubt, he was there. By saying what I just said though, there wouldn't be any reason for faith.

  • @0raluvin

Yes but now the crazy part,

when you accept Jesus as savior and baptized in the Holy spirit,

you sometimes hear God directly. This may sound like a hoax or something you imagine yourself, but its true.

Why do you not believe, when its nothing to lose?

  • @Wolf9216

When I was 13 I accepted Jesus, was baptized, and prayed regularly. I never heard him directly though. As I grew older I expanded and opened my mind much more. Then I started questioning some stories within the Bible and the contradictions seemed plentiful. I'm not throwing the idea of a supernatural being our the window, I'm just saying "I don't know," because I think no one truly knows.

I will continue to write more on another comment cause I'm running out of space ;)

  • @Wolf9216

By saying, "it's nothing to lose," what if there is? I mean, what if you're god is the wrong god? There have been thousands of thousands of different stories of supernatural beings throughout the history of the world whom people worshiped just like your god. What if one of them was right and we're wrong?

  • @0raluvin

Thank you for the great testimony tdavisjr69! :)

Really inspiring! I think I understand oraluvin.

I have many friends who first believed but then did not believe.

And maybe then its much harder to believe again.

But for me, I have ''tried'' other religious things and only found out it was all work to be good enough , but with Jesus its a relationship! He says I'm good enough in the bible! Remember, the bible is the living word of God. He speaks to us, through that!

  • @Wolf9216

I could not agree more! Jesus is the truth the light the way! (the only way)

I have found in my times of need and when I am humbled in the presence of the Lord he also speaks directly to me thru the word. It just floors me everytime whether Its something I need to hear or dont want to hear (See) I am at a aww with him! Well you have a great one and God bless to you and your family. You can add me as a friend if you like.

  • @Wolf9216

Not to be prying but this is a good topic, and I too have heard God himself speak to me almost like a audible voice as well visions about my own testimony in our church. Our Lord has worked miracles in my life period! As far as hearing from him I have struggled with my anger most of my life, and one evening I was standing in the kitchen and just plain as day like me talking to you he (God) says your anger is your problem! next post

  • @Wolf9216

I took a step back not sure if I just heard what I just heard! So i took a step back and said what? And here he (God) was again just plain as day he said yea your anger is your problem! So I ran in the bedroom and told my fiancee what had happened! So the next evening which is saturday I was in the kitchen standing by the counter in just about the same place and (God) flashes this vision in front of me like a picture no words but I could see everyone clearly. next post

  • @Wolf9216

And the picture spoke all the words! So the next day which was Sunday we were having class before evening service, and the class we had a week pryor was about being obedient to God. Example when God puts it on your heart to pray for someone and you do. Thats being obedient. So With the vision the Lord showed me it was for a certain person in class. So when the time was right I humbled myself and opened up to the whole class about how anger has had a foot hold(next post)

  • @Wolf9216

on my life and how I was towards my fiancee as well as my children and others. Once I started talking and opened up, the Lord walked with me every step of the way. After I opened up the class started opening up as well its was pretty powerful stuff! Since that day I have been a different person for the most part. It would be safe to say that I still have my struggles and it has not been easy, but our God is with me/us always!

  • @Wolf9216

And thru Christ (Jesus) I know that whatever I face I can conquer anything by having faith in our God, who I have seen time and time again on the miracles and blessings he has done in my life as well of others! (God bless!)

  • Jeremy, I have seen you in concert many times and heard your testimony numerous times. Your story strengthens me. I am a college student & now having a summer break I'm realizing in the past year away from home not only have I strayed from family but my Heavenly Father. I went to a store the other day and purchased all your cds I could find. your music has encouraged me in every way. I now have it to support me in my redidication of my life to the Lord! ♥

  • May god bless you and your family.

  • please,traducion portuguese

  • Man I have always liked your music, but I never knew you to be a Hero.

God has his ways of making changes in our lives and he uses these angels like Melissa to give us the power in converting others into the Christ.

  • praise be to God, who has not rejected my prayer or with held his love from me

    psalms 66:20

  • This is an incredibly powerful testimony, and it makes me think of how God used one person to bring me back to Him in so many ways, an amazing brother in Christ I will never be able to thank God for enough. I can't wait to be in Heaven, seeing Jeremy and Melissa reunited =)

  • God bless you Jeremy, I'm so sorry for your loss. God is with us trough the hard times and he will always be with us, praise the Lord!

  • *Sniffle* That was so good! Jeremy is such an awsome individual. When I saw him in a consert a few months ago, his wife (he has re-married) had just lost a baby in a miscarrige. He was just praising God no matter what. He's just awesome!

  • I have an aunt, she lost her two year old son becuase she wasnt watching him for a blink of an eye and he drowned. that week her daughter 14 months younger than her son was taken away from her. She gained visitation rights with someone watching them both( shes scitsifrenic) and now, a week before the day her son died, she lost visitation rights again. my mom is the only person who remains her friend She told me she lost her faith in jesus. My moms not close enough to jesus to no the words to say

  • to bring her back to Jesus, and im not close enough to my aunt for her to listen to a 14 year old girl who praises jesus with all her heart.

  • @sammiesam282 Please just pray for your aunt to grieve, but to do it with Jesus. Pray that she will open her heart to the one who can bring the peace she needs. Jesus wants to carry our burdens. He tells us in Matthew 28 to come to me all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens and I will give you rest. remember we can't change people only God can do that... May you be blessed as you go forth with your efforts keep praying & seeking His counsel

  • Jeremy is such a great insperation!

  • Okay fellow brothers and sisters in Christ.

Let us never forget that sometime in our lives we will endure pain, suffering, and even death.

But we all know what he said very clearly in

    John 3:15.

This is a perfect example of a trial that we should all know about.

This lfe is never perfect, but our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ is.

  • you see...how different God touched each one of our heart to more deeper faith on HE. Mine was when i was studying at University and i got to much depression...and GOD turn that depression into strength to search more of myself...Praise God!
