Why is it that gay marriage and the abortion debate are all the politicians want to talk about when we our infrastructure is crumbling. I guess getting reelected is more important than making the country better. Also You want marriage, you got marriage. I know the divorce attorneys are licking their chops and rubbing their grimy hands together. To them, this is better than hitting lotto.

It's not JUST the fact that gays can now get married, but the fact that the world is changing, even if it's just one little bill being passed in one state. It still makes a difference. Tomorrow is gonna be a much better Pride Parade in NYC because of this... though I can't help but think of the ironic comment I imagine Andrew Cuomo saying... "Discrimination is wrong... now that marriage for gays is legal, we can continue limiting the rights of other people we don't like and look for new groups to discriminate against. We were wrong to do that to blacks, women and gays but I'm sure we can find someone to justify it for." ...because it's so true. This shit never ends. =P~~~
