@jetfoxproductions Lightning's DLC outfit, is a bonus for ordering a special edition of The 3rd Birthday in EU, and for purchasing the game in NA.

And yes, a lot of the now-known DLC were not released when I made this, but I'll upload another when all DLC is revealed.

@octavio3007 Sephiroth's default outfit is based off artwork done by Amano. It features things like beads, and sashs and other such decorations which are common in Amano's work.

Sephiroth's Alt2 is his design in FFVII, which is simply a black coat with longer bangs.

@UltimeciaKnight Amano is the lead artist for the dissidia characters, and their respective FF games. I am somewhat surprised that other commenters haven't head-desked yet about your question, but I will be informative, and tell you that Tetsuya Nomura was the main artist re-designing the characters for dissidia. He used Amano's original designs in the various costumes as homage to the artist that first created them.

-As for cecil, I agree, his outfits are rather boring.

Illustrator: Yoshitaka Amano. So isn't it Tetsuya who designs them first then Amano who illustrates them for the character selet screen etc...

From what i know Tetsuya Nomura designed Squall and Sephiroth, Ultimecia & Cloud etc. in the PS1 Originals. Tidus too. FF10 etc. (The whole FF series!)

@poppytewix Depending on where you live, there are different ways. Europe: Sephi & Cloud's KH can be downloaded offa PSN, Squall only if you have Dissidia 012 Legacy Edition. America: Cloud KH was a pre-order bonus from Gamestop. I dunno about Sephi and Squall. Japan: Squall's DLC code was in the April edition of V-Jump, not sure about Sephi or Cloud.

I don't get Tidus alternate costumes. They're using obscure artwork and making him look like he actually does. Why not just do the obvious choice and give him a Shyuin costume. Especially since for some reason he works for Chaos in 012. A Shyuin costume would have fitted perfectly for that. Black Hair Tidus would also have been cool but instead they give him one that makes him look like he does in game.

@floooooooooooooooood Took me a while to see a difference between his default and Alt 1 costume. Obscure, tiny rips in clothes do not make a new outfit. I agree on Shuyin having been a cool Alt idea. Then again, can't complain too much about half-naked Tidus.

Or, it's possible that your memory card is simply filled up. DLC content won't show up if your memory card is filled.

@Equirah The Base form of the Onion Knight's second alt is taken from a picture Amano drew for FFIII's Warriors of Light. In the NES version of III, the colors of the Onion Kids were red, blue, green and pink.

The Onion Knight's Alt2 reflects this piece of art, while his EX Mode represents the green Onion Kid.

@VasmX On the Character Select Screen, Press [] over the character who's outfit you want to change. You can also press /\ in the character's customization screen to achieve the same affect. You can also chance an Assist's outfit by pressing /\ in the Assist selection screen.
