@Soldier1287 one of the differences is that the 602 has an 81/60 EMG Active pickup set and the 202 has an EMG-ESP LH-301 set.

Master of Puppets was released in 1986 so it wasn't with marshall. In 1988 And Justice for all was released and that album kicked ass, so shut up themullettiscool

its an esp LTD... not ESP... but nice btw... metal muff its not to good just like that with metallica songs... you must refigure the knobs so you get the mids low and hugh drive, treble and bass... try not to get the mids too low... cause it will sound terrible... bye bye mate ;)

@xskater589x lol wow. That means that in 85 they stopped using Marshall lol excellent. So Kill em all, Ride the Lightning and Master of Puppets was done with marshall. But the other 8 were not, whats that tell ya

@xskater589x Sound quality was shit on those albums, great albums sonically though they sounded shit, besides justice is my favourite album. They use Mesa in the studio just like 99 percent of bands nowdays by the way smart ass. They dont use Marshall for the same reason most dont, its easy to identify a Marshall sound as the gain is a thumpy gain and they didnt like that identifiable tone. Thats why they use Mesa

@xskater589x They used Marshalls on Kill 'Em All and Boogies from Ride the Lightning on. And Marshall or not never put a distortion pedal in front of a solid state.

@DONTGcheck actually, alot of metallicas old, old stuff was marshall. I believe the first two albums untill master of the puppets. I want a marshall or a randel. im into the oldschool bluesy sound though, marshalls with good distortion is the way i think im going.
