  • You have a very nice setup there sir.. That would be fun to shoot

  • Hi sir, my name is Bill.. I rent the Glock 22 & last time I rent to the range I rented the Glock 23 & I love that gun too for shooting.. So I found I like Glock 22 & deffantly Glock 23.. The Glock 23 when I do buy a gun will be my first gun..

  • GREAT videos sir, some of the best. I have a lot of catching up to do.I use to watch ur vids

  • The .40 s&w run is perhaps the most aesthetically pleasing of all calibers IMO. Just the right amount of mass x velocity?

  • Those pesky sodabottles can really sneak up on you if you're not careful! :P

  • hickok45 has commercials now..=(

  • @JUKEBOXX1990 if it keeps him making videos. i will watch the commercials.

  • 10 people arent allowed to use guns

  • "If you believe that, you're the kind of person we wanna see on your video" ROFL

  • your range is sooo sick!

  • WELL hickok i had to get the 23 gen 4 what a gun i put the night sights on it what a shooter thanks hickok for the vid"s. Now what"s next ha ha ha

  • i've noticed the recoil on your videos on all glocks are significantly less than other people's video. what are some of your techniques you use for recoil control?

  • the laughing is creepy

  • You're a legend

  • this is a random question but u a cigar smoker? i saw the Romeo and Juliet box.

  • Are those animal targets falling forward? If so, why not backwards?

  • @SilverDollarSwede12 Downward slope of the hill.

  • Hey Hickok! have you ever seen this rig, the CAA Tactical RONI G1 Glock Carbine Kit? If you look it up here on Youtube, they have a couple video's on it. pretty interesting set-up for Glock guys. Just an FYI to pass along

  • I have large hands---not meat cleavers like yours but not small either. I find I shoot the Glock 23 better than the Glock 22. I also have noted, the perceived recoil is less for me with the Glock 23. Go figure?

  • Ok, so I purchased a glock 23 gen 4. I've put 400 rounds thru it. I seriously do not like the pistol one bit. Not at the point of saying I hate it yet, but..... No matter how hard I try it shoots way low and to the left. Watched all videos trigger, grip, everything control. Even benched the pistol with sand bags and still shoots low and to the left bad. Sent the glock 23 gen 4 into glock. Starting to think I should've purchased a 1911.

  • WOW,that was some awesome shooting. I think I need to look into a Glock 23. I currently have a Glock 19 but the 23 will make a great carry pistol as you have indicated. Great video !

  • Anyone know how hickok feels about the compensated glocks?

  • Hice shooting men

  • Too much fun too much fun ... Nice vid i just bought a glock 23

  • Loved it. My favorite Glock!

  • Thank you hickock45 for this awesome video. Watching you hit those targets just brings so much happiness to my life. And I can't agree more, the Glock 23 is one reliable good friend!

  • DAT .40 SEXY

  • Austria <3

  • G23 OR G27 I THINK IS THE SUPERIOR CHOICE FOR THE EASE OF CALIBER CHANGE 9MM .357 SIG AND OF COURSE 40 CAL ONLY BY CHANGING BARRELS!!!

  • I notice you still put grip tape on the Gen 4... Isn't this negating the major "difference" or "upgrade" in the Gen 4?... Putting the same grip tape as you do with your earlier generations... covering the newer more aggressive stippling? Just curious what makes you "like" the gen 4s; assuming you like them more than earlier versions. Personally, I do not see enough changes to make me want to upgrade from my Gen 3s...

  • He's a shooter for sure

  • Do you reload all your sodas?

  • Geez you are the man Hickok!

  • FPSAMERICA

  • this guy is like me extremely trigger happy when it comes to shooting.

  • i love how when you shoot the gong you can actually see the slugs connecting with the steel

  • Love your videos, Hickok. How far out is that gong?

  • Hi Hickok,

    Love your videos

I know you prefer the smaller glocks and have shot in competitions.

What do you think of the Glock 34 for plinking various targets with vs. a Glock 19?

Does the increased sight radius and porting of the 34 provide a noticeable improvemment in the speed of target aquisition, follow up shots/recoil, and accuracy?

Also, you put a set of TruGlo TFOs on one of your pistols right? Have you used it enough to give any opinions on it yet? Breakage?

    Thanks,

  • i dont know much about glocks, but it looks like its pretty easy to get your hand too high and have the slide nip you. does that ever happen to even your experienced glock guys?

  • @nixxhimself I just purchased a Glock 17 gen4 and it nipped me right off the bat but that could just be due to my inexperience.

  • I had been looking for some grip enhancement of some type and decided to try the Talon grips per your videos and boy did I fall in love with them, I now have them on all 9 of my Glocks, thanks for the info.

  • Nice work Professor Hickok45!

  • You are good.

  • My son and I really love your vids man. Keep up the good work. He asks every day if you have put up a new vid. He loves your vids and wants to be just like you. At 9 yrs old you are inspiring him. Imho you are a good man, just wanted to say keep up the awesome work.

  • Thanks for the vid. The Gen4 G23 is my choice for carry, having once carried a SIG P229. Only issue I've had is with the way brass occasionally kicks straight up; it's an issue at an indoor range when the spent cases bang off the light bar soffit above and back down on the top of my head, or sometimes down my collar into my shirt. Toasty and warm (ouch) feeling, I must say. Compact d/s Glocks like the G19, G23 and G32...definitely my favorite all-around pistol.

  • Hickok45, It would be cool if you could get your hands on some of the sim-test media that tnoutdoors9 uses, and shoot it at 100 yards with your G19, 23,and 30. 3 calibers, 100 yard ballistics!

  • you know what I love about your videos! You genuinely have fun and look like your having fun when your shooting! And I could tell this Glock 23 was making you even more happy than some of the others! You were shooting it like a Master too! Your Love of it shows haha!

  • i love that you can actually, and CLEARLY no less, see the projectile and the bullet trace on those slo-mo clip at the end! Granted they're moving a bit slower than a what most long guns can muster, but still incredibly cool.

  • Walther PK380, good or bad?

  • Boy I can tell you love that 23.... Just plain sick how well you handle that thing! I just picked up a 19 gen 4 today and through 100rnds & I am very impressed. 124gr Zero reloads went flawless. Just is not as easy as you can make it look though! Love your videos......

  • What are your feelings on the Glock G23 vs Glock G23c?

  • Hi im interested in getting a new handgun but I'm not sure on which to get, does anybody have suggestions?

  • so many magazines...........

  • Only thing preventing me from wanting to buy a glock was that weird hump on the back of the handle

    Do they make a 21L?

  • Walter p99 can you give your opinion on this

  • 00:22 Holy Crap Those Steel Targets Are Coming Right For Us!

  • Hickok45 Great video as usual! I have been watching a lot of your videos and researching guns for a good ccw and also range gun, my biggest want was reliability. needless to say a month ago I purchased my first new gun as soon as I turned 21. I went for the gen 4 glock 23. Very happy with it and absolutly love it no issues thus far. I did have 2 shells hit me in the forhead but I'm 99% sure it bounced off the wall at the indoor range I was shooting at. I will trust glock with my life as my ccw.

  • Awesome as usual! You always deliver an outstanding non biased (except for Glock) video. I own and carry Ruger SR9c/LC9 but am seriously considering Glock 23/19 for daily Carry. I just have to thank you for being such a great marksman!! I really admire your talents.

  • Just traded a S&W M&P40c on G23gen4. Took her to the range and shot 250 rounds without a single hiccup. I was hoping that the Smith was going to be a good off duty replacement (since its from an american company,) from my G19. The M&P feels, and looks great, but it has to many problems, trigger, sights, surface rust, and that damn frame tool that the nub breaks, or wears down for me to replace a Glock that my life, or someone else's life might have to depend on working correctly.

  • is that way most of the police throughout America "uses" Glocks?

  • I recently got a lonewolf conversion barrel for my Glock23 Gen4 and I got a couple of factory 33 round mags for it as well. For under $200 I got two pistols in one and it's a bit cheaper to shoot the Glock now. I trust my life with a Glock..... no doubt in my mind. I used my LEO discount and got my G23 with factory night sight for $455 and of course the pesky background check was $10.

  • How's the the safety work?? I want a safe gun to keep a home but i heard they dnt have safety is dat truth??

  • Yup I made up my mind finally Hickok. I'm gonna try to sell my g22 & save up what ever i need for a gen 4 g23. I bought a gen 3 g23 when I turned 18 & sold it when I turned 24 & when i owned it i never had one problem. I know if your pleased with a gen 4 I'm sure I will be. I can't wait cause the 22 or 27 ain't for me & 40. Cal is my fav pistol round

  • @ThermalSh0ck The only thing you might wanna do is to call the RSA team or whatever (glock) and give them your serial number and if your gen4 needs a new RSA (recoil spring assembly) they will send you the newest generation RSA for free. I have had 600+ rounds through mine and not a single issue.

  • @Eslamizar thanks for the tip, i really appreciate it, but i heard glocks manufactured after November 15 are sent out with the latest recoil spring and extractor but now my brain is starting to jump around again on what to get, its either gonna be the gen4 23, the M&P 40c or a sig p229 ( which is the one i want the most ) but i don't wanna spend that much for a handgun, ugh! this is the worst part on buying a new firearm, figuring out what to get. My brain already hurts lol

  • @ThermalSh0ck I would go with the S&W M&P they are very Glock like internally and I think more ergonomic on the outside and they are fairly affordable! Easier to carry than the Sig P229 although I Love Sigs as well but for all around reliability, cost, comfort, looks, and accessories I would go with the S&W!

  • @ThermalSh0ck Not a problem. It may be that after Nov. 15th the Glocks are good to go. Honestly my Glock did qualify for a new spring but prior to the RSA exchange, I had zero problems after 600 plus rounds fired. I recently had the opportunity to buy another gun so I invested in a SA-XD 40 V10.

  • Colt .45 asp 1911 series 80 government issue.........FUCK YEA

  • "I think I'm just about out of...ooohhhh I've got more over here." My vote for your motto. That or "sweet..sweet."

  • As always, great job on your videos.

And thank you for staying out of the political debates.

Those become so annoying. I just want to have fun and become a better shot.

    Thanks again.

  • u should be on midway usa wednesday night shooting:()

    keep up the good vids

  • Unfortunately the Glock 23 is prohibited in Canada. We are limited to the full size Glocks here.

  • haha, ive been watching all of his hand gun videos and paying heavy attention cuz i was trying to figure out wut gun i wanted to get for my carry gun, price wasn't so much a issue cuz i am willing to save up my money longer if that's what it takes to get a good high quality gun that i wont want to replace later, and i didn't even have to watch 2 min of this video to decide, cuz as soon as he said the glock 23 was his carry gun i knew that its the gun i want to lol

  • i carry a glock 23 on duty and off love it

  • I guess I'm gonna buy a glock 23 lol

  • i pity the fool that ever breaks into this dude's house

  • I've changed to the Glock religion and it happens to be a Glock 23 Gen 4 best gun I've ever had.

  • I love guns. I don't like it when they kill people, but I love guns.

  • @xxTAARGUS guns dont kill people...people kill people, remember that

  • @hickok45 I am an xd/xdm fan but you have got me taking a hard look at good old glock. Maybe I'll end up changing my religion. Nah..... Still love my xd45 tactical it's pretty sweet but I am still trying to decide between the gen4 g34 and the xdm 5.25 competition. Please do a side by side vid with the two of them I think alot of people would really enjoy that one. Thanks for all the cool videos.

  • Hickok do you know of any websites that I can get a good deal on a xd 45acp

  • Great video!

Noticed some brass going straight up. I wish glock would fix what's broke and move on. The late gen3's & 4's are still having issues.

They say it runs 100% on good ammo, but when you need the gun 1 or 2 rounds happen to be under charged? Not what you want I would think in a defensive hand gun.

  • @xring1000, The only ammo I've had issues with was about three rounds 9mm 115 grain, and then only stuff that is FMJ and on the low end powerwise to begin with. I have the 04 spring in my G19 Gen 4. The 03 spring was stiffer, from what I've heard. Some people had more problems with that one.

  • omg u should have a tv show!

  • sir hickok45 hope you can make a review video on tanfoglio witness or armscor map1..thanka and more power im a fan

  • YOU DO NOT WANT TO SNEAK UP ON HIM

  • My Glock 23C gen 3 is my favorite gun...my HK45 isnt far behind

  • No question, 180gr. .40cal hits hard.

  • You're in the mood! I found it very funny to have heard someone behind you! Congratulations for the videos !

  • Comment removed

  • I've been seeing all your glocks with the talons grips and decided to order myself one for my 17, really like them. Seems like i have more control over the firearm. thanks for the idea! Enjoy all your videos

  • When you rack the slide on a pistol, how ''tight'' is it?

What I mean is how difficult is it to slide the slide back?

Are new guns more difficult to rack the slide repeatedly (like when you safety check them)

    Thanks!

  • you know all the gun in the first three starwars movies are real guns made up to look si fi

  • 0:21 secs. in thats a hickok 45 reflex

  • 27 ftw

  • At the boro gun show. Lots of people hard to find parking and raining. I love it.

  • it said he heard something behund him but he had earplugs in.

    TROLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL TROLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLO

  • @thegoodboy1998 You can still hear things with earplugs in....

  • Thumbs up if saw the hickok 45 belt. (5:30)

  • What is your take on scopes on handguns?

  • Love the slow motion portion a the end of this video...SWEET!!!.....LOLOL

  • if you look closely you can literally see the bullet flying towards the gong, nice quality video right there :)

  • i can imagine you must feel so protected, *sigh*... the UK sucks

  • I'm always around my shotgun :) (The Judge).

  • **************great vid

  • ★★★★★

  • 7 people prefer the 10mm

  • Another very enjoyable shooting video. Keep on keepin' on Hickok45! "Life is good".

  • I love the hickok45 leather belt. Pretty sweet sir, pretty sweet.

  • Hey! I like that kind of ear protection, but because I'm a lazy bloke, may I ask what brand they are?

  • @XJonnyGunsX I think you could find those at any hardware store... I bought some noise cancelling ear muffs for $20...love them

  • @MrNeedsdecaf Thank you. :) I'm lucky to have quite a few decent muffs from playing drums (Vic Furth B0002F513E) I just thought that was a neat - light method of protection that Hickok has there. Again, thanks for your response and I do love a good pair of NC muffs. ;)

  • I tried to be patent. I wanted to wait until you made a Ruger SR40c vs. Glock 23 or 27. But I just could'nt take it anymore. So I just got back from buying a Glock 23 Gen 4. I'm feeling much better :) Thanks for making these videos. They really, really help alot. I think I made the right choice going with a Glock 23 Gen 4. Again, Thanks Hickok45. God Bless You and Family

  • Great video Hickok as usual. Nice G23...wonderful gun. I love the .40 cartridge too even though bashing it is the "in thing " to do these days. I've never been one to jump on band-wagons. I'm reloading it now and it's very versatile from mild to wild. From 200gr bullets with 45 acp ballistics to135gr bullets at 357sig velocities and everything in between. People can believe what they hear...I believe what I see. Keep up the good work Hickok!

  • I love the feel of a glock

  • is there a law limiting bullets in mags

  • @MrChrisham Depends on the state you live in... check with Google.

  • I love the G23

  • Well now I know to never sneak up on you Hickok! That intro was awesome!

  • you are such a tool

  • Is that the stock mic on that canon google bought you? I've noticed until now, but the audio in slow mo playback is insane.

  • Hi Hickok just a quick question would this gun be better home protec or my sig p226 just a quick and honest answer

  • @LUISITO60007 I'm not hickok obviously, but I imagine my opinion would be close to his on this. as long as your chioce is a mechanicaly sound gun, the best factor in deciding what's best for you is finding what your most comfortable with, it may be that niether of the guns your considering are right for you, it may be that your just as comfortable with both. It's really a question that only you can answer.

  • love your voice in slow motion xD

  • can glock 22 mags fit glock 23

  • @MrChrisham Yes.

  • @MrChrisham Yes.

  • @MrChrisham The only oddball mag is the G36 (single stack .45ACP)...other than that, all LARGER mags of same caliber will fit the smaller pistols.

  • I carry my extra mags in that little pocket on top of my front big pocket I'm a lefty so its perfect haha that's one for the leftys

  • Didn't know glock made a 22 round for .40 now I do thanks I wonder if I add the 2 round extension on it will it fail I know I don't need it but im going to anyway 25 rounds back up hell yea!!!!

  • I'd love to see a target with an hostage on it... !

  • hey hickok, could you do a video showing more information on your various range targets?

are any spring loaded, etc? thanks

  • I love the slow mo on the gong by the way...very cool

  • I don't know if its me but I can almost see the bullet, I'm used to 9mm that goes a little faster.

  • Hey Hickock have you tried to apply for Top Shot that reality show? Or they could have you on as a guest Pro

  • @carlsaganrules74 They wanted to have control over this channel or something, so he decided not to do it. Also, check out recent comments around the internet from past contestants who say it's kind of rigged. Whether that's true or not, I don't know.

What I do know is I'd rather watch Hickok45 reruns since Top Shot puts me to sleep.

  • Hey hickock, this may be a stupid question, but I was wondering what the full size .40 cal glock would be? Do they have a full size .40?

  • @bryanFskates69 That would be the Glock 22. It is the most popular police carry pistol in the U.S.

  • @Ammobucket Thank you sir. I've been looking into getting a Glock in .40 but I wanted a full size, not a baby Glock. Appreciate the help.

  • @bryanFskates69 That would be the Model 22.

  • @bryanFskates69 I know I'm not hickok sorry to disappoint :) but the glock model 22 is more full size, 4.49"barrel 15rd. mags. ~$525 is about normal (at least where I'm at) and there is the practical tactical model 35 5.3"barrel 15rd. ~$620, or even the target model 24 6"barrel 15rd. ~$675 and you can get extended magazines if you live in a state that allows them.

  • @Gun4Freedom Just try to hide one of those bigger ones......

  • @highcountryhay Yeah, not so much... lol, but I bet that 6" barrel model 24 is pretty accurate tho :)

  • i would love it if there could be a camera setup on the side of the gong so that we could actually see how hard the different bullet calibers hit it.

  • @danielo2591 Yeah man. He should put his old camera back there and let us see different calibers hit the gong. He could add the footage to the end of the video! Or do a whole video about it. Great idea.

  • The clock says its Glock time

  • Comment removed

  • Hickok your the man.

  • Just buy any gun from hickok's safe.

  • Do you ever shoot one handed for practice ?

  • best gun hands down is Han Solo's laser blaster. never seen it fail him yet. close behind is a glock.

  • @Chorizosabroso doesnt have the running out of bullets problem that all hickok's guns have either.

  • @Chorizosabroso granted it seams faily inacurrate, but I've also never seen him have to reload so...

  • @Chorizosabroso Make sure you get the "shoots first" version.

  • thats just awesome shooting Hickok, always enjoy your vids.

  • Lol! Nice start!

  • You should post your videos on Vimeo, too. At least they stream more consistently,

  • This is why I like his videos so much. He has lots of humor in his pocket. He has never failed to make me laugh. :) Keep it up!

  • I love how you put a Glock in his hands and how quick he can clear the range. You can tell which firearm he has spent the most time with.

  • TURN THE CAPTIONS ON!! XD

  • Great as usual, I love my G23 Gen4. I have the Lonewolf 9mm conversion barrel and it's been flawless. God bless.

  • I'm sure it's been asked and answered a thousand times, is that your own personal range or can I get a membership there? It looks extremely fun!

  • @jlemons01 That's his backyard I believe.

  • Sir....love your vid's. This one had me rolling on the floor for a bit...lol.

  • I'd like to mine your hillside for lead. Theys a lotta lead in that thar hill.

  • I bought the Glock 27 Gen 4 based on your vids...thanks

  • horrible sript writting...i used to be into your videos but what the heck is this

  • I don't fully understand how shooting metal targets never seems to get old.

  • you had me at Glock...
