Hi, Resendiz! So glad you enjoyed it! The karaoke is actually one of many vocal reduced tracks that came straight from The Jolson Story. Not sure who did the vocal reduction originally, but it must have been made from the remastered stereo soundtrack that was used for the movie's re-release. Hi Asa. No, I just sang "soft and low" because it seems everyone else after Jolson has been singing it that way, and I thought the words fit just as well anyway. Glad you liked it anywho! Also, I may even redo this one eventually, because I had just gotten over laryngitis, and there were a couple spots in it that played tricks with my voice, but I hope they aren't too noticable.
