outdated cars are good for the environment, the engine losses power over time and compression, the result a smog emission so low, that it can not be detected. Cars used to not even have to take smog tests after a certain amount of years, so new cars are bad for the environment, old cars are realiable and are good for the environment. On cash for clunkers - It required dealers to disable the cars. THat means DESTROY the engines and transmissions. Many very good cars were destroyed. THey could have been at least given to people who had no transportation to get to work. People who NEEDED those cars. Instead, we're going to completely destroyed the used car market.
ON the cost of the war - in SIX MONTHS Obama has spent MORE than Bush's war did in SIX YEARS.
