  • @CoachFrank203 I'm going to hazard a guess, after handling the shoe myself, that the flexibility of this shoe is an issue for running, but not causal wear. I suppose it would last a few hundred miles going in a straight line, but in any activity where you're doing lateral movement, it would feel too soft, like a slipper. Even tho it maintains a good fit around the heel and mid foot, the material does not appear to be intended for sports in the upper or the sole.

  • do they repel water? I need a winter shoe.

  • @deathwish001 not 100% sure but I don't believe so.

  • can you explain why 'too flexible' is a problem?

  • @CoachFrank203 Too much of a good thing could be a bad thing as the old saying goes. While we don't recommend these for running (and I don't believe the company intended them for running) Stem are very comfortable casual shoes.
