  • I wish we would all look at one another as Vietnamese!!! Instead of name calling like Vietcong, VC, or whatever. I believe if we all can unite like the rest of the other countries, we too can be a wealthy and powerful nation. Don't let the Western's influences segregate us like they did in the past.

    Good luck Vietnam!

  • yeah

implosion with stalinist and maoist policy until 1990

and better with policy of sucking the cox of capitalists

    .

can not believe that VCs here have no shame no guilty?

  • they should use their new economic growth for good, not to stand by their old, evil ways

  • thanks to your good video (from easysaigon)

  • @ Beware to all :

( DO NOT LISTEN TO Viet cong SAY - BUT WATCH CLOSELY AT WHAT THEY DONE )

  • Tear down the communist wall 11/9/09

  • According to projections Vietnam will be one of the most modern countries and stongest economies in the coming decades,

Im 18 right now, been there 3 times already, hopefully projections don't fail me and i can return to a wealthy country when im a middle aged man.

  • its already pretty ok. im back in the states again but i visit twice a year now and i swear every time i go back there are about 3-4 new skyscrapers. ferraris and other nice cars are all over the place!

  • vietnam needs good governance, good institutions quality then we will see the growth in long term

  • please don't thumb down on him because he's telling the truth.. & dont thumb down on me because i pissed you off by telling you that's the sad truth. .

  • the use of tact and delivery are more often the basis for "thumbing" down or up than truth or fiction. he merely hit a soft spot for the people who thumb him down.

  • Actually thanks to VCs Vietnamese girls expand their boobs with Silicon and expand their asses with domestic and foreign dix faster than the national welfare expands

  • would it help any better? if the government gives out free education? like Canada for a example.?

  • right now, economy growth to 6.5 %

  • socialism by VCs means: free stealing and robbery for VC officials and socialize pain/suffering/tragedy on the heads of poor/sick/oppressed population! ! ! No wonder VN is the shit hole of the world

  • VN is still a very poor country. The government needs money to build better infrastructure so that the country can promote better trade and tourism. Saigon still floods when it rains. The living standard of the people in VN is still much now, agree? Anyways, all the best to my VNmese friends.

  • VCs steal and rob much more than what they have contributed to the nation. No other peoples have to suffer as much as Vietnamese under the oppressive, corrupt and stupid regime under VCs. The fact that many as you refuse to come back and live with VCs is the proof!

  • VIVA EL COMUNISMO!!! >> yup comunismo in your ass and mouth only!!! hypocrite or liar?

  • @HCMBuCacSo1 Chắc con chó này nó hiểu tôi đang nói gì! Loại như mày thì chả làm gì được cho đời đâu. Sống sao thác vậy, đời đời ô nhục vì bán nước.

  • go watch the video "Duong Noi MasterPlan" on youtube then u know what im talking about, and watch "Most Modern Satellite City in Vietnam!"

  • i just found out vietnam economy growth today just went up to 15.2%, yeaaa baby

  • whaa? really?

  • but i doubt that growth rate will last long

  • @GuardianDemonX base on what statistic you said that? if you are base on GDP, please look at the debt. Vietnam is still heavy in dept because of the wars, and recreation.

  • @theartofluv here we go with the GDP shit, why dont u visit vietnam and take a look for yourself, vietnam aint poor as most people imagine

  • @GuardianDemonX I didn't say all people in VN were poor, but most of Vietnamese people are poor. This is because of top 1 or 2 percent (the elite) own 90% of the wealth. If someone have a lot of money doesn't mean that person is wealthy. He or she actually has to own the nature resources, land, and businesses even government.

  • @theartofluv if u never been to vietnam then dont talk, most people in vietnam are not poor, proverty in vietnam has reduce to 14%, so poor people in vietnam is very low now, most people in vietnam are middle class people, u should go to vietnam and take a look for yourself, vietnam today is so blooming, i went to vietnam and i see so many pimp out ride, and the street have so many light

  • @GuardianDemonX Sir! I had been back to VN 4 times, the last time was in 2008. yes, the economic is booming. Well, I guess it is good to be optimistic like you, but sometime it is better to be realistic too. Don't get it wrong, I love my country as much as you do.

  • @theartofluv 2008 ? dude vietnam change every years, go back to vietnam in 2011, it different every time u go back, and dude there a lot of countries out there are much worser than vietnam

  • well... on the world Rank Vietnam is at 60. Vietnam got 60, 995 in 2006 GDP (nominal) and in 2007 Vietnam got a total of 68, 300 Pre-Prelininary GDP (nominal)

    Millions of US dollars

  • And it's growing between 7-8% per year, not 15%. Get your figures right. No matter, inflation will gobble any gains...sigh. If the war hadn't occurred, Vietnam would probably be on par with Korea.

  • vietnam growth is not 7-8% per year anymore, there a article said that vietnam economy growth just went up to 11%

  • yeah vietdude. get YOUR facts straight. i already established i wrote the wrong percentage in the description.

  • if there was no vietnam war, it would be japan>china>vietnam back then until now. we were better then korea, taiwan, thailand etc. maybe when there is new government things will start to change, even big growth power and money still hold by small percentage of population.

  • vietnam economy today has grow up to 11.2% not 15% yet

  • absolutely beautiful music

  • Pledged foreign direct investment into Vietnam in the first nine months has reached $57.12 billion, jumping more than fourfold from the same period last year, government officials and state media said Friday.

  • cool :]]

  • Like vietnam before 1975. The north and the south was completely divided. However the world community still considered the two nation to be one country.

  • Yeah because before the communist took over in 1975. Vietnam experience poverty and regulation. The communist destruy south vietnam economy. They took the the citizens money and pushes million of south vietnamese to labor camps that. I was wondering what happen to S.Korea if N.Korea occupied S.Korea like in vietnam.

  • can some one tell me what is the comparison of Vietnam and Thailand.. in terms of leaving and confortability?? your kind reply will be appreciated.

  • you are right. size of economy: 1. EAST : Japan - china - S.Korea - taiwan - N.Korea

    2. SE : thailand - indonesia - singapor - malaysia - vietnam - cambodia .. in economy size china is going to 1st in EAST asia. china = rising sun, superpower.. japan, korea, taiwan are so smaller than china.

  • total GDP(norminal) Japan-4370 billion$(2nd) China-3120 billion$(3rd) S.Koera-1050 billion$(13th) Taiwan 340 billion$ East asia:8880 billion$ --- thailand 230 billion$ malaysia 140 billion$ vietnam 64 billion$ indonesia 210 billion$ singapor 150 billion$ cambodia 5.7 billion$ .. SE asia total : 800 billion$

  • GDP(norminal)-2007 IMF

    US - 45600$

    japan - 34700$

    singapor - 31200$

    korea - 20700$

    taiwan - 16100$

    malaysia - 5600$

    china - 2560$

    viernam - 830$

  • norminal is absolute earning money standard. PPP is standard of eraning money that comparison nation's price of food,cloth,etc..

so only simple comparison of earning money standard is "norminal GDP".

  • fucknorthkorea87: It supposed to be

    US-$44,000

    Japan-$33,100

    Singapore-$31,400

    Korea Republic-$24,500

    Malaysia-$12,900

    Vietnam-$3,100

    sources: google

  • your data is GDP(PPP). PPP is not absolutely earning money. GDP(nominal) is standard. my data is GDP(nominal)-2007 Germany's data(imf,worldbank is simillar data).. US - 45600$ japan - 34700$ Korea - 20700$ malaysia - 5600$ thailand - 3800$ india - 870$ vietnam - 830$ cambodia - 460$... GDP(nominal) is only standard. GDP(PPP) relate to nation's goods price. good's price high means GDP(PPP)'s low. so japan,US,germany,UK,France's GDP(PPP) is low. so vietnam,china,taiwan,cambodia's GDP(PPP) is high.

  • GDP(PPP) is not mean earning money. PPP is mean earning money+goods price. so good's price is low GDP(PPP) is high. but absolutely earning money is not change. absolutely earning money is GDP(nominal). now are you know?? GDP(PPP) is not mean absolutely earning money. and your data is GDP(PPP).

  • GDP(nominal)-PPP(purchase power parity)

    only earn money-relate nation's price

    US - 45600$-44000

    japan - 34700$-33800

    korea - 20700$-25300

    malaysia - 5600$-12900

    china - 2560$ - 8700

    vietnam - 830$-3100

  • GDP(total)/population is GDP(nominal)

    US - 13600 billion/297,000,000

    japan - 4390 billion/128,000,000

    china - 3160 billion/1,360,000,000

    korea - 1030 billion/50,000,000

    malaysia - 145 billion/23,900,000

    vietnam - 67 billion/87,000,000

    that is GDP(nominal). not PPP..

my data is simillar worldbank,IMF 2007.. google's data is not GDP(nominal). that is PPP(purchase power parity).. remember GDP(nominal) is absolutely standard of earning money. PPP is standard of nation's good's price.

  • i don't have absolutely remember my data's sources. because i saw that 3month's ago. but i remember that souce is germany's souce, name is ichebank?? that 's sure is germany's data, and name is not absolutely. but IMF- 2007 GDP/capita(nominal)or GDP say simillar data.wickipedia(google)(sorry, my spelling is not absolutely because i'm not live in eng language nation)'s data is PPP(purchase power parity). purchase power mean earning money+nation's goods price(food,cloth..). low price=high PPP.

  • people's absolute earn is "normal GDP" not "PPP GDP". taiwan's "normal GDP" is 16100$. Korea's "normal GDP" is 20700$ malaysia's "normal GDP" is 5600$. japan's "normal GDP" is 34700$china,taiwan,india,vietnam,malaysia's food, cloth, etc's price low so PPP is high. germany, japan, korea's food, cloth, etc's price high so PPP is low.

  • GDP(normal)

    Germany- 38900$ japan- 34700$ singapor- 31200$ s.korea- 20700$ taiwan-16100$

    malaysia- 5600$ china- 2560$ india- 870$

    vietnam-830$

    GDP(PPP)-low price mean PPP high

    japan-33100$ Germany-32600$ Taiwan-29800$

    Korea-24500$ malaysia-12900$ china-9300$

    india-8530$ vienam-3100$

  • GDP(PPP) is not used. because prices are high - PPP is low. one people absolutely earn money standard is "normal GDP per 1" "normal GDP per 1" - japan 34700$(pop.128,000,000) singapore 31200$(pop.4,600,000) s.korea 20700$(pop.50,300,000) taiwan 16100$(pop.22,700,000) india 870$(pop.1180,000,000)-- india's PPP is 8530$ japan's PPP is 33100$. because japan's price very high. taiwan also price is very low. so taiwan's PPP is high. PPP standard taiwan is same japan, Germany. but normal is not.

  • AFter China-veit war, veit leader doubted if it was primitive society in north viet.lol

  • man i love the music

  • Those stats are correct to asiamennow..

What I showed before was a nominal stat..

    i think thats different..

    Ex South Korea

    has GDP/capita of $24,500

but the nominal is like $12,000

  • GDP(nominal)-2007 imf

    -- taiwan's objective is in 2012 catch up nominal 20000$. goldman sachs(sorry to spelling.) say korea catch up nominal 30000$ in 2013.. korea - 20700$ (nominal GDP) taiwan - 16100$ (nominal GDP) that is IMF's 2007 data. and korea's number of world 500corporation is 16(7th)-(SAMSUNG elec,LG elec,huyndai motor,SAMSUNG finance,SK energy,Hyundai heavyindu...) taiwan is 6.

  • (nominal)GDP/capita - GDP 2007IMF

  • and in many industry korea is high rank. philipino(id:nicyolo) don't look down on korea so. korea is not low class. are you kicked your ass by korean? you make that korea is philipin's enermy. philipin is so high and korea is so low? fucking nicyolo.

    GDP/capita (nominal)-IMF 2007

nicyolo philipino : many industry korea is high than phil, taiwan.

  • WTF?? No man.. I actually have South Korean friends and actually have a half North Korean best friend..

Philippine was higher in Economy than Korea

before 1960s.. In 1960s Korea overtaked

North Korea then overtaked the Philippines

and Thailand then other countries too..

That was before.. I was talking about before

not today.. today is alot different than before.. Your English is not quite good

thats why you didnt understand my point of view.. dude.. Koreans are like 1/6 of my friends. :

  • yes my english is bad. korea not use eng. but philippine use eng. so philippine's eng is good. but you say korea's GDP(nominal) is 12000$ but actually korea's GDP(nominal) is 20700$.

    GDP(nominal)-2007 IMF

    japan-34700$

Try going here.. And try to see this mall

  • GDP/capita of South Korea

is like $22,000 and Nominal of $20,700

    Japan has GDP/capita of $34,200

    and nominal of 37,000

  • Believe it or not but vietnam was one of the most developed country in SE asia in the 1960s since the communist took over in 1975.

  • yes, i know that vietnam is one of the most fast developing contury in SE asia.

  • and north korean is so bad people. north korean' smell is bad. fat kim(dog, fucking shit) is muderer. n.korea is so ashamed nation. i am so ashamed that n.korea is asian nation and use same name of korea. no one like n.korea.

  • If you will remove the useless population of the Philippines

    our GPD/capita will go $7200.00

  • But it doesn't make any difference. It doesn't matter whether north or south its still korea. The two country share similar culture and background. It just differently in term of politically.

  • this si a great song!

    Keep it rising Viet nam

  • china ,india & russia are the fastest! but vietnam is on to progress also.

  • I've heard that Vietnam has one of the fastest, if not the fastest, growing economies in the world.

  • to dreed122, i thought it was china have has the fastest econimes in the world THEN it's vietnam

  • GUYS i HAVE A QUESTION.... PLEASE TELL ME IN YOUR OWN OPINION (BY RANK) WHICH IS THE POOREST COUNTRY IN SOUTHEAST ASIA?? ANYONE??

  • ...were the all-caps required?

    and i dont know.

  • Cambodia. Vietnam was recently lifted from being one of the poorest country is SE Asia. Vietnam has a annual percentage growth of CHina and Inda at around 7.5 %-8.5% and it is changing for the better by the day.

  • yeah but they get a BOAT load of money from tourists. Have you seen the size of the hotels in Siem Reap/Angkor Wat??? HUGE! and TONS!! they go off the American dollar though.

  • NORTH KOREA AND BURMA

china japan and korea are three mostr strongest countries in that area, but china still has many porblem, the other two are better.

  • Cambodia

  • Hey I think that now this year, vietnam is banning and fining everybody that sells meat on the streets, like flea markets, because it's unsanitary, and now they're going to establish more indoor supermarkets, to satisfy the needs of consumers. And also keep the meat frozen.

  • good, i'm glad. more regulations should be implemented.

  • Sanitary measure is a priority but think of the economic livelihoods of those meat vendors . If supermarkets are taking over, what is to become of those street vendors? That's like Walmart coming into a town and wiping out the small mom and pop shops...except worse. Unless the Vietnamese government can provide job replacements or some sort of subsidies, it's not always a good idea to try and modernize when the majority of the people don't have the capability to adapt without proper assistance.

  • there IS a walmart-like place, its just, the economy still hasnt reached a point yet where walmart is considered cheap. so the average viet joe doesnt go there.

Loi tai ai? cong san thi muon doi van la cong san, it`s a good theory, but you u can never apply it to the reality.

  • This kind of man may say : "North Vietnam invaded South Vietnam , make war" , as long as he may say "America liberated Iraq, make democracy".

  • ching chang chong chinchangchong, ching ching changchang chingchang chink

  • I appoligize if you think I'm a bonehead. As Viet-American, I'm very happy for Vietnam's economic growth and had always had high pride over her brave history. As far as Vietnamese living standard goes, it will always go up. I only think positive for Vietnam, being negative and express hated wouldn't get you very far.

  • Great, lots of Vietnamese are there. My judgement came from your nasty comments about Socialist Vietnamese. There is something really wrong when you compared VN with Thailand, wait I know, how many war have the Thai people been in? And aren't you happy to see VN being the second fastest growing country based on some econ-senses? I know I am, because I'm a Vietnamese at heart.

  • sonsonp's an ass. ignore him. im full on american caucasian whatever haha doesnt matter but im glad vietnam's economy is booming. its why i made the video.

but yeah i dont think he got that you were talking about rate rather than magnitude. he's still an ass though.

  • good video comrade. make more.

  • check out the Vietnam Habitat for Humantiy Video i made, its much better. MUCH better.

  • 8 or 15% is not consistent. Vietnamese economic market goes up and down. The highest number I last observed was 13.5. Nevertheless, Vietnam has one of the fastest growing economy in the world.

  • Stronly agree!

  • Pretty artistic video for it certainly has that "documentaristic" feeling to it. VN is undoubtedly the next China, but hopefully without all the environmental blemishes and whatnot. BTW, 15% is a parody now, but in a few years, this typo all of a sudden will become correct.

  • lol thats kinda a scary thought.

  • I'd be crazy if the economy growth was 15% per year, lmao.

  • correction....vietnam is growing 8% a year not 15. haha my bad, got my facts wrong. but it still took me literally all night to make.
