@tmdkfk ID is part of the reason, But the main reason is the facilities and caring of hk hospitals and doctor is better than mainland, and they hv to pay LESS to give birth at hk than the PENALTY for their 2nd child at China. So why not?
@tmdkfk i understand your point, just wanna suggest that not every mainland chinese are like that. They do give pressure to the hospital, and I think the government should do something about it.
@cheuk1015 Though, i m not totally agree with the housing and benefit part. Hong Kong people should be more objective, there are cases as negative as what you suggest. However, they will help in solving the problem of population ageing. This situation has only been popular for few years, you never know, when the children all grow up ten years later, what benefits will they bring us.
Respond to this video... if you look at the statistic, most of them give birth at private hospital. They are not the poor ones who need the benefit or wanted to live in council houses (they rather to few ten thousands dollars than giving birth at government's hospitals in a much lower price)
not trying to argue and to say you are wrong, just want to be fair and chinese shouldn't discriminate chinese our selves, especially when they do support an important part of hk economy.

醫療好呢樣的確無錯，但你成個廣東咁多人唔通個個要生多個就要落黎生咩？
香港醫院得果幾間而家本地人都嘈太多大陸人黎生搞到唔夠用就真係唔得掂，仲要個個拎多少少錢落黎生就可以借班細路拎居留，拎福利，推高住屋需求，影響樓價，結果無錢果班香港人公屋都冇得住就住板間房籠屋。
