I used this station in 70 - 71. Then I went on to run my own station at Camp Ames Korea 76-77. It was a very rewarding job.

I used the MARS system on board ship back in the 87 time frame. Seemed silly to say over after completing a sentence. Sometimes I talk to people and say over as a joke. Young bucks today have no idea why I did that.

I was just a tyke back then but can vaguely remember talking to my Dad over this system. Many thanks for posting this.
