  • Perfect MUSIC.

  • I LOVE this!!!

  • The blend is amazing

  • A balsam for the soul!

  • lindo...

  • Play this together with Endlessly by Green River Ordinance and it sounds magical!

  • what a beautiful piece of music, lost in this!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • sing-alongs are fine

  • Did anyone know that when Mozart heard this in Rome at a young age he wrote down the entire composition on music sheets almost perfectly from ear ? The Vatican owned and protected well the music sheets. This had never been done before.

  • @punkempireinterviews I heard this story from the series of beethoven virus.. I love the story! :-)

  • sad too many people believe he does... it would end so many wrongs in the world.

If they realised that they only believe in god/jesus/ religion because it was forced on them by their parents who parents forced on to them, n so it goes

  • @Anubisrunner08 Well, while I do believe that religion is probably a driving force for bad in this world, you do have to remember all the good things it has done. Imagine all the humanitarian groups that only exist because they were founded in religion. While it has caused suffering, it also helps take away some of it from some people aswell.

  • @ThomasYorkshire you dont need to believe in a false god or manmade religions to seek comfort from a higher being... WE are divine beings in our own right, each and everyone of us... we are infinate spiritual beings having an experience in the physical reality.

That in itself is all the comfort we need, knowing who we really are

  • @Anubisrunner08 I suppose I agree with that. I agree with that indeed. However, I do not believe one can simply say "If religion were suddenly eliminated, the world would be better as a whole." There are just oo many factors to make that claim.

  • @ThomasYorkshire without religion, it would eliminate alot of hate.. Hate is one of the things that leads to evil.

But yes there will always be corruption/evil here.. im not saying its all comes from religion

  • @Anubisrunner08 Indeed

  • @Anubisrunner08 Indeed

  • É bom mesmo, toque bem muito nas Igrejas pra ver se eles envergonham do passado sangrento que carregam até hoje e sempre.

    SOMOS SERES PENSANTES NÃO DOMINADOS.

  • please, deliver all the evil into our hands :( we, the people, who trust the lord

  • God bless all chorists !

  • I love how on the high C, the boy moves to a Ahhh, instead of the Mu, written on the page. I am singing this very soon, i am very excited!

  • Fantástico! Simplesmente Divino. Grande Gregorio Allegri!!

    Misael Haubert.

    Brasil.

  • this piece makes my dog cry

  • @jjarmoosh thats dogma for ya

  • i am not a 'god fearing' kind of a person, but this kind of music is just so beautiful and spiritual...simply subliminal.

  • @lostpebble Did you know that when this was released, the pope that was elected at the time banned it from being sung in the church accept for special occasions beacuse he thought it was too spiritual?Imagine that. :D

  • A latin person composed this masterpiece, not an anglo-saxon!!!!!!

  • I think religion is absolutely stupid but without religion we wouldn't have so much art (like this piece of magic) so maybe religion is not so bad after al.

  • I'm not a Christian but this piece of music is amazing!

  • Repentance is the first thing a Christian must do to have the kindom of heaven in them.

    Harry

  • nice

  • Praise be to the glory of God

  • This makes king David the prophet proud for sure. He would've never thought(while he was alive) that his psalm would sound so BEAUTIFUL, unless the Lord revealed it to him(which He might've done). May God forgives us according to His tender Mercy and not according to the multitude of our Sins.

  • Mozart could memorize all this when he was little with only listening it ONCE, amazing..

  • @davlor86 Twice

  • @iansaidhi it was actually ONCE, the next day he just listened it again to make minor corrections...and he was only 13 or 14 when this happened

  • @davlor86 So...twice

  • @iansaidhi lol ok twice...still was a very genius thing to do.

  • amazing! God is full of mercy!

  • *facepaw* grow up

  • ............Told?

  • my goodness, the trebles in this piece are absolutely gorgeous. I usually get quite annoyed if the sopranos are too heavy - the sortof breathiness the trebles have here gives it the most beautiful ethereal air.

  • This is by far the best and most accurate version. Thank you.

  • Thanks ! Very, very, very Thanks for teaching me about the history of that priest " Gregorio Allegri " . I was so curious about him !!! Please, read my note on the page where de " Chapell Chor " sing " Miserere mei Deus " . Thanks, again.

  • Beautiful, beautiful music.

  • Extraordinaire !

Difficile de résister à l'envie de se faire catholique papiste romain etc. à l'écoute de cette musique.

Elle est la plus convaincante preuve de l'existence de Dieu.

  • This music plays at a pivotal point in "Maurice", one of my favorite films.

  • This music plays at a pivotal point in "Maurice", one of my favorite films.

  • @notevenhere Shame for a spiritual piece like this to be misused like that.

  • @paxcoder How is that a shame? How is it misused? Its statements like that that give religious people a bad name.

  • @Schfifty12 It's a shame because a song of contrition before God was defiled by being used in a move advocating giving into carnal desires which are contrary to nature. And it's misused by being used while promoting misuse of sexuality.

God doesn't care about my stance with you or any other of his creations. You'd be better off following Him in ALL THINGS, rather than thinking I am your enemy. Peace be with you.

I may be harsh, but choosing sin and living without God and his grace is far worse.

  • @paxcoder Living without god and his grace is working well for me. Religion has brought alot more pain and suffering in this world than a make believe film. Sure there are some good things, like this beautiful song.

  • @paxcoder

And you think that by preaching to people and treating them as sexual deviants and perverts you are closer to God? God and Jesus would be ashamed of being associated with someone like you, you know nothing of God's love and compassion.

  • @primohomme Have you read Romans 1, you'd know that st. Paul himself calls homosexual acts "contrary to nature". Let alone the Catechism. So either we're all mistaken, and have been since the beginning of the Faith... or you are. But I'm not treating anyone as anything, I'm simply stating the facts about the *acts*, not the people. A person with same sex attraction can be a saint if he/she chooses. But rarely anyone walks the Narrow Path anymore. They seek false love and tolerance to sin instead

  • @paxcoder

So you think would allow something to exist which serves no purpose and is not blessed by him? And by the way, there are many things contrary to nature we do, for example watching videos on youtube which have been recorded. Capturing musing onto a physical thing is VERY anti natural.

  • @primohomme No, it serves a purpose, that of temptation. Read Romans 1, I'm being mild. Just for the record, 'anti' is not 'un'.

  • @paxcoder

And for that matter, how do you define natural? As something that happens in nature? Because homosexual sex happens A LOT amongst non-human animals.

Or do you define natural by what's the majority? because there are less people with blonde hair and green eyes in the world than there are homosexual, so that makes them anti-natural as well?

Don't act as if you possess God's wisdom because you don't, nothing that exist can exist without God's blessing and approval of its existance.

  • @primohomme Indeed, because the sin, and evil is lack of good, rather than a created thing. I'm telling you what st. Paul told us, and what the Church teaches. It's not something I thought of.

  • @paxcoder

And because you don't understand that simple fact, that God is LOVE and not punishment, mercy and compassion instead of cruelty...You are not close to God, in fact, your attitude is more like that of the devil, seeking to separate and destroy and hurt instead of comfort and forgive and heal.

  • @primohomme Tell me, excusor, how come there is Hell? Indeed, to be forgiven, you must first admit you wronged God (sinned, done against his will), and also repent for it.

  • @paxcoder

There is no such thing as hell, not in the new testament and not in the old testament. What you know as hell it's an invention of the Catholic church taken from Greek mythology. When Jesus speaks of what now is translated as hell, he is talking about the valley of Hinnom, a very real placed which was a dumpster in Jesus' time, not a metaphysical realm. And in Judaism there's no hell either, but a state of mind called "Gehenna".

  • You know what? I was going to post you some verses, but this is pointless. You are a lier and it would be like casting pearls before swine. You don't care, because if you did, you'd read the same passages already and you wouldn't claim such untrue things as you do. Jesus spoke of Hell for the soul (+told a story about Lazarus which contains all the descriptions of hell you oppose here), and John called it the second death, and a lake of fire.

  • @paxcoder

Quote all the passages you want, I can quote historical FACTS that prove Jesus was not speaking about a metaphysical place but a very real dumpster outside of Jerusalem. Your concept of God makes no sense. So, God is so insecure and messed up that he tempts humanity and then is born and the only way he can forgive us is by spilling his own blood? Do you realize how illogical that is? Your concept of God is a bipolar insecure MONSTER, not a God of love and compassion.

  • @primohomme Jerusalem having a city wasteland back in the day proves nothing. I gave you concrete references. You have not bothered to look them up, and this renders the conversation we're having useless. In short: Your "facts" are false.

God has two natures: Love and Justice. First satisfied the other. I mean... talking about pearls. You object to the concept of a Christian God, and there is no sense in discussing Him anymore with no common ground.

  • @paxcoder

I don't object to the concept of a Christina God, I object to the concept of a God that is an insecure bipolar monster, which is YOUR concept of who God is. If you do not know the historical context of things, do not talk about them, since you simply make yourself look more foolish and ignorant. Jesus used the word "Gehenna" which refers to a very real physical place, a dumpster and burning place for trash and slaughter animals. Do your research or take a damn sit and shut up.

  • @primohomme And the very Wikipedia article you read links to a concept of a "metonym" you shortsighted, hardheaded, unwilling to read, less than Christian blasphemer of God. This is OVER.

  • @paxcoder

LOL, do you ever understand the concept of metonym? The concept of hell (or the word) comes from German mythology/Greek mythology, the place Jesus was refering to was a very real very physical dumpster outside of Jerusalem. FAIL. Do your research next time you closed-minded puritan bitch, and if there's a hell I'm sure you'll end up there for being full of prejudice and malice

  • @primohomme Wow. Just wow.

EVERYONE is wrong, and you are right. *shakes head*

  • @paxcoder

Not everyone, just ignorant people who think God is some kind of monster waiting you make a mistake to punish you.

  • @primohomme Which is, evidently, what you think the whole of Christianity teaches. A man of excuses.

  • @paxcoder

No, but that's what you believe, evidenced by your discussions with other people here.

  • @primohomme that won't fly with the Judge. Wide road leads to destruction.

  • @paxcoder

Your concept of God is very disturbing, you really think God is so insecure that would feel offended by the mistakes of a tiny insignificant human? How could the greatest be offended by the lowest? Makes no logical sense, you are antropomorphising God and that is a huge mistake and blasphemy.

  • @primohomme Yes, he is offended by a creature (made out of love) turning his back on Him. He is a "jealous God", as the Bible describes Him. The Greatest has created man not the lowest(but to be higher than angels) in His own image, and the same betrayed Him. Then He died so that you can be saved after all, but now you trample on the Sacrifice too. And on His Church that teaches His teachings for almost 2000 years now. You blaspheme, by molding your own idol to replace Love with, so you can sin.

  • @paxcoder I swear to God Paul McCartney, never said those things

  • @notevenhere This piece is also found in "Chariots of Fire."

  • @notevenhere From what I understand of the film, this is a very inappropriate song.

  • @notevenhere In "The Hustle Serie 2 Episode 2 in time 2:18 too :-)

  • Mesmerizing really.

  • This is absolutely beautiful. I remember singing this in High School, ages ago it seems. Praise be to God. This psalm is repentance. This is remorse. This is godly sorrow.
