I think that in western society, both Asian men and Asian women face discriminations and injustices.

I am personal astonished to hear Asian male having problem dating Caucasian women. I am personally have had no problem dating white women, black women, hispanic women, any woman. To me it is the personality of each that makes it is an easy or hard for someone to date or ask the opposite sex.

I think that in western society, both Asian men and Asian women face discriminations and injustices.
Asian women tend to be objectified as exotic yellow cabs, or easy women, or cheap women, etc. Asian men are perceived as nerdy, weak, freak, etc.

1. The western media always discredits Asian men
2. Some Asian men don't know how to approach women
3. Asian men are too nice (My experience is that if you treat women nicely, they will be arrogant towards you, so sometimes you need to show some man power in front of women)

It just occurred to me that there are like six types of Asian looks: Thai, Filipino, Korean, Chinese, Japanese, Hawaiian, could be more. The slant eye, high cheek bones tend to be the Japanese and chinese that people stereo type. Thais and Filipino tend to look more "western" in their facial features.

If by ''Asian'', you mean from the Mongoloid race.... then ''Asian'' looks split into East & Southeast Asians... some Thais & Filipinos might have some ''western'' features (due to racial mixing) but on the whole their DNA is pretty much the same as other Eastern Asians... there's studies on this.

I agree with you but I mostly date White men.All my boyfriends have been White.I'm attracted to Asian men but I feel guilty b/c I'm a non white women but also of Latino-African heritage.I'm a multicultural woman and some Asian men are confuse by that.I mostly attract Japanese,Filipino,and Vietnamese men seem to be more accepting & understanding.

@babyEroose Im asian im married to an asian girl, but back in High School i dated black girls. Black girls are beautiful. A lot of my friends are dating or married to black women. I think asian guys do like black women but you know how guys are. Guys are just scared what might happen if they get rejected. But yeah you'll get an asian guy sooner or later. keep your head up.

Coming or born here, we are stuck between two worlds. Asian women or non-Asian women. One answer lies with our parents. @babyEroose When we do come full circle after dating non-Asian gals, we again have a decision to make. Is it just for the sex, to show-off I am a player and get non-Asians, or real love? How does that compute with OUR ELDERS if it is love? A small % of those who ventured will eventually marry non-Asian gals (300K+ in the US 2009) But why not Black ladies? This is where it hurts. @babyEroose In the end, it will be a detrimental struggle to most Asian men to carry themselves over that hump to be in matrimony with a Black gal over opposition against their entire family. Absolutely, but the reason this guy made the vid is because he can't find anybody to date him, he doesn't seem happy about that. Asian men are not the prize choice of guy in this country let's face it (look at all the vids made by frustrated Asian men) I'm suggesting looking outside of the box--they may find what they always wanted there. I feel Americans have been brainwashed for generations to set their standard of beauty to a European slant.

@babyEroose it has puzzled and took me a long time to figure it out, but i have seen ugly guys, short guys, fat, bald, crooked teeth, broke guy, date beautiful women. What i've figured out is that the girl will always choose the guy she emotionally clicks with. You emotionally click with someone when you don't have these self rejection that closes you out to others. I would love to open up a site to teach all these things. Study what attraction is and it will change your life.

@babyEroose I agree all the way! I'm a Asian man and I've seen many black women that are very beautiful and sexy and also have a sweet, decent, and friendly personality. And I also find Latino, and Arabic women attractive too. I don't only go for just looks or race in particular anymore. It's about how I feel at the moment with the girl. And how she carries herself, her body language, sense of humor, everything.

@stillonparolee you keep replying to this one comment. Sorry parolee, I call BS on that, that is nurture making some Asian guys so selective more than it's nature. Many of them are told not to date black women. I always say they date asian girls b/c it's what their parents want but they have been told by society that white women are the grand prize. It's their features that are given the most exposure & praise, and many men are programmed to look in that direction, same w/body size.

@ShaneNguyen1 Men approaching me isn't the problem, it's when I have tried to get with Asians where the struggle comes in, not w/hispanics, blacks or even whites. Look at other videos ppl have posted on this topic, It's not paranoia or a bad attitude, what I have expressed are sentiments that have been echoed by other posters and things that I have actually experienced, I had an Asian guy I was interested in tell me that he wished I was Asian, clearly we clicked & my attitude wasnt a problem

My names Katie Jo, from chicago IL! Im white. I am very attracted to asian guys... and will only date asian men... My boy friend right now is filipino. I wouldnt trade him for anyone else... Not only is he extremely attractive... He is conciderate, respectful, caring, polite and strong valued! So many great qualities i would run out of room if i named them all... But to be honest of all the asians ive dated they all have been very respectful and polite... yes a lil possessive but worth it!

trying to make it short: i'm white, i've been with this asian girl for 8 years, before meeting her, i met dozens of narrow minded asian girls who would only date people based on their ethnicity, maybe they were scared, shy, making up excuses, but what you say works both way, and it's nice to see people like you, voicing their thoughts, trying to share the knowledge, even as we speak, her parents think that our relationship isn't going to work because i won't like asian food... wtf lol retarded:)
