  • the wales eat those fish...

  • folks wake up big shots do not take up for the small guy! in this valley most produce is imported while the bigshots export . too bad the media will never point out this truth. as for rodrigues does anyone think he or his family are small farmers, the name hispanic water comission says alot about why.

  • my little fishy friends say thank you ! my fishy friends say shut all the water of to california

  • Wahahahahahaha...does Paul Rodriguez actually think that Hannity and friends actually give a flying fuck about the way this is affecting the farmworkers? hahahahaha. considering the fact that the majority of farmworkers in California are Mexican immigrants(what Hannity and friends call illegal "aliens")....Hell no! lmao.

  • This is a ridiculous travesty! See what happens when the gov. owns ALL water? Who wants Chinese milk tainted with melamine? This is more elimination of the middle class. Raising food cost. Taking waters and land in the name of "wildlife preservation".......landowners and farmers beware, they've only just begun! They want us to all live in cramped boxes in the city. How you like your "change" now? Enjoy!

  • roqriguez is a racist mexican bozo.

  • I live in the central SanJaquine valley, I know the farmers that are effected by this. Just wait untill you can not afford to buy food. Every day I see the farmers who can not grow food. We will starve next year. Start growing your own food now!!

  • This is not (only) about the fish.

The whole farming in CA is insane. You build farms out of deserts and thought this is substainable. Water reserves are down and a catastrophy is near if you don't change the life and farming style.

It's time to cutback on this mistake and leave and grow your shitty apples and oranges elsewhere.

When will fucked up disgusting US Americans learn to handle restricted resources like water and energy in a substainable way. You can't eat your worthless profits

  • the world is going insane.

  • "You can't lead a sane life in an insane society. Function is going to clash with dysfunction. There can be no "successful conclusion" to a therapy that ignores this."

    - Michael Ventura (''We've Had a Hundred Years of Psychotherapy--And the World's Getting Worse'')

  • This is way beyond a "left" vs. "right" issue. Both sides are broken and near indistinguishable. This pain won't be felt until it's too late.

  • This is GENOCIDE once the food dries up people will starve. It is not about the fish, it is 100% population control!

  • manmade recessions, manmade flu's, manmade droughts... they must be doing this on purpose and seek to put farmers out of business, someone wants that land and they are using the smelts as the "good cause" to cloak itself

  • @KARStarla Its all about big agribusiness wanting water surplus to sell for a huge profit no matter who or what it hurts.

  • republicans put the things that led to this in motion, they deregulated much of the worthwhile environmental rules the clintons put into motion

  • stop blaming liberals, morons

  • My 10 year old says, "Buy a fishbowl. Put a Mommy and a Daddy in it. And bammo! They're an endangered species and can get some of that water!"

  • Oh yea this is so fake in fact lets just ignore this and let the farmers go out of business, let the employment rates go up, and most likely all the taxes on farm food to go up. I cant wait till all the food disappears to save the animals. Shame on us humans! Right liberals? Stupid idiot liberals.

  • As I suggest ,seek confirmation from the grey lady to verify ,they are towing the fox line.

  • And if water cant be used by farmers from the CVP because of the smelt ?

It leaves your argument out of the water.

    Which you just did.

  • Whatever dude. The valley, where I have family in farming, know the score and you are just being a dumb ass by following the FOX Trot ...good luck to you.

  • Ok, this is being reported on Fox and worse yet by Hannity. Do not..I repeat..do not take this information at face value. The valley is not fed water from one source. Rain fall and snow melt all effect the water received in the valley as well as that water that is contracted from other states close by. Drought plays a big part in the situation in the valley.

  • google "delta smelt" to get confirmation from the grey lady and other sources of truth.

  • For God Sake, like I said, your watching FOX!! It never, ever tells you the whole story and anything they can find to get people all up in a tit they will use. Google "water sources to cal valley" and see what you get. It's a dam drought that's the main cause and the main source of water to the valley is melted snow from the Sierra Nevada Mountains.

  • When will people learn that Fox is not news, it's a propaganda machine..period. In fact if you know where these dam fish really live, it's not in or around the vast water ways that feed cal water to the central valley. Look up CVP.

  • I live in the San Jaquine valley. The local farmers buy there water from the state at a per acre price. The state is not selling the farmers any water, and the delta smelt is the reason. No matter where the water comes from, and here we know it comes from the snow pack, the farmers are not being sold the water needed to grow there crops. Fields are dead, no food is comming out of them. Where the water is from is irrelevant. Where it is not going is the problem.

  • I have family in Lodi and the Fresno Valley, they tell me something different than what you are hearing in S.F. Who could be nearer to the truth? The US imports a great deal of it's food and fruits and vegs are grown in the south and south east. Very unlikely that anyone will starve because a Mega Farm has to cut back a few acres.

  • in california, safeway, raleys, bel aire, vons, ralphs, etc etc get most of the veggies from mexico. this video is a lie.

fuck the govt farmers and the illegal aliens. grow your own in your yard or buy from the small acres farmer.

    stop govt subsidized farming.

  • thank you!! In fact, living on the east coast, local produce and fruit is more expensive than what is imported.

  • well that's not my problem. i live in cali. you should work on fixing your state or growing a gardern or indoor garden. it can be done!

  • lol @ rainfall and snow melt
