Looking forward to a day that will never come? No, I don't believe that diabetes is incurable; I myself having type 1 for 13 years, and I'm 15. I read somewhere in a Reader's Digest issue that they're working on a cure: a pill that you can ingest with insulin in it, which is indigestible and goes straight to the pancreas and prevents white blood cells from attacking the insulin. I believe the cure can exist.
my younger brother has been a diabetic since he was four, he is now almost 15 and he doesnt seem to care at all. He doesnt take his insilan all the time which is the reason why he still doesnt have a pump. As of now he is starting to loose his vision and his kidneys are begining to shut down. The doctors are giving him a pump because his body is rejecting the insilin shots. He has pretty much given up and i dont know how to help him. I dont want to loose my little brother. do you have any advic
@xolovesyoumuchlyox :S you need to encourage him to have a goal in life and not to just give up so easily; he has to realize that diabetes doesn't exist in his life to hinder him from growing up and living normally, it's there to make him stronger and to make him believe that he can do anything that non-diabetics can.
I have two beautiful daughters...ages 18 and 21...both diagnosed at age 11 and 15...this is who they are....this is their story.....exactly.....Thank you!
Hey, i to have type 1 diabetes coming up 9 years and i always say the road to the top in bumpy and never ending and until a cure you wont find the top....im 14 and got it in 2000 when i was 5.
I love this video. Thank You for such a wonderful creation. This video truly touches my heart. My child suffers with Type 1. She came down with it when she was 8 in 1998. I want nothing more than for all people suffering with diabetes to be cured.
