To allmyevilbunnies (great name) I bought these glass globes online in a dollhouse miniatures supply shop. They are replacement globes for tiny lamps and ceiling lights. Unfortuneately they don't come "clear" when you buy them. They are painted amber or solid white. Very time consuming to scrape and rub them with fingernail polish remover and then carefully wash them by hand. They are the perfect size for the smallest working snowglobes that I've seen! Thanks!

To r2hkiller7 I make them myself, and I can sell them on ArtFire.com. I also take custom orders if you'd like. To regretsmyl..I bought the "snow' online it's the same snow used for all snowglobes..don't know what it's made of..but it has to be a heavy material so it doesn't float. i had that idea to make that when i was a child ;) i think drops of glycerin helps for slowlly fall snow but also i think because of glitter shape and size , glycerin it's not innaf. Why you didn't do that anyway? Snow must be a material or even the same glitter you have use here but...very very much more tiny particles.. You shrink the globe...? must shrink the snow too...;) Btw i love that base colours and shape. :)

Also if you want the "snow" to fall slower, put a few drops of glycerin in the water! Check it out before you seal everything. How large are you making them?

I'm thinking of making some larger ones almost 2 inches high myself, so I can add more detailed scenes! I would like to see your finished snowglobe if you don't mind! :)

To adisneydesigner: You can use any kind of polymer clay as long as it's baked according to directions. It doesn't cloud the water at all. I use FIMO and the Sculpey clays, the Premo would work as well! You can even paint your hardened-baked clay with acrylic fabric paints..they don't cloud the water as well!

Good idea! I will try to make a Video on how to make my mini snowglobes! But they are very small and tedious to make! Lot's of patience and a lot of experimentation.

did you make a video on how to make these? I am trying to make a larger one but I'm not sure if the water will mess with the polymer clay. It's not going to cloud the water? It's my first time working with polymer clay. what kind did you use? Premo, sculpey, Femo?
