Wow, I never knew people from Cal were such crybabies. I guess that's to be expected since UCLA took their fight song which most people now associate with UCLA athletics rather than Cal's irrelevant athletic program.
next time when ucla decides to play a stand tune, the ucb band shouldnt play the same damn song 2 minutes later and sound worse. We have one song that was yours which we made better over 50 years ago....
and try not have fights in the stands that look like ucla people to where we have to stay even longer after the game because people are afraid that the same will happen to us when we leave the stadium.
Listen, this whole debate about fight songs and about sounding better and sounding worse...blah blah... is just a waste of our time. We both know we have biased opinions so let's just not get into that. There is one fact though, the fight song was taken from us. That's just fact, not bias.
Next time, when Cal Band has the decency to stop playing when the UCLA Band started to play their Alma Mater, they should do the same for the Cal Band.
Perhaps the next time we have an injured player on the field ( Kyle Bosworth ) DeShaun Jackson wont be leading on the Cal Student section to continue cheering. Having ties to the Cal Band, you should know that common courtesy states you don't cheer during an injury regardless of who the player or team is. I expected more class from Cal and their students
