@18karan well,the anime version takes stuff from manga and sometimes ruins the whole thing altogether. the fight between pain and naruto is one of the most epic battle in the manga series but as you could see, in the anime, they fucked up the whole facial and motion animation by taking a studio to get the job done that is not very...artistic. Similarly many facts seem to be there in anime+manga that violate the previous ideas that exist in this fictional world. :D You will see.

@mindsoulbody well for the telephone part they don't have signals or towers as you have never seen one so it is hard to do long range communication + akuatiski could just blow up telephone lines.
Therefore they have birds which is good i.e when pain attacked and destoryed konoha they can use birds to communicate.
and the headsets are short distance so like 30 m

@18karan Dude, if u know half of what the world's technology is currently, and u compare that to every damn episode of naruto and see how inconsistant it is from one episode from another, you would agree that it does not make any damn sense. In the manga, they are using a guy to transfer data to ALL soldiers' mind who are at least 10-20 km from their village. WTF. They are using CT scanner to scan brain. The list is too big and even naruto fans are saying this is getting cheesy.

@18karan well,the anime version takes stuff from manga and sometimes ruins the whole thing altogether. the fight between pain and naruto is one of the most epic battle in the manga series but as you could see, in the anime, they fucked up the whole facial and motion animation by taking a studio to get the job done that is not very...artistic. Similarly many facts seem to be there in anime+manga that violate the previous ideas that exist in this fictional world. :D You will see.

Remember the guy who met itachi and kisame when they first time visited konoha? Itachi just looked and he fell asleep.When pain attacked one outpost, they just stood their dumbfounded. Yeah, poor defense both in terms of physical and human barriers.
