I`ve beat it my ship is better than Flying Dutchman and now I`ve got it :) U`ll get sunk on the first meeting so before that u must leave ur ship, officers and money into bank and port control. Then go with tartana and let Flying dutchman sink ur boat. After that u`ll get on random island and should find way to the island wher u left ur ship and stuffs.
ho kan i find that ship i hav a ship of the line in age of pirates 1 the name was warship not battle ship but warship is a difrent in age of pirates 2 the name is ship-of-the-line (its not the line ship)
...the flying dutchman is actually in the game because its from legend...the black pearl of from pirates of the caribbean and not in legend...so no the black pearl is only in the game if you add a mod to it
all they have done is take 3 year old game, made some locations bigger , tweaked the fighting system ?? and a few other things.
nothing else has changed , you could not tell by looking that the clips if it were 1 or 2. Only the shot of the title SOAS lets you know this is no2. It really is shocking how they can get away with this , more of less paying for the game as it should have been 3 years ago.
Worse than that1 they have taken a good title and completly broken it! No map! no way of telling where you are, not even informative quests! Ive spent three hours trying to do the first quest being chased constantly by the local militia! sucks!

@fenthedog I downloaded it from piratebay and I have no bugs whatsoever , cept a crash once in a hour?? (just save before every battle :D ) but I rarely play it over a hour or two so, I dunno...
And quests are quite easy if you have a brain -people have been spoiled with "walk through that and oh nvm , I even stick an arrow on the screen and show you the way so you would know where to go"
I manage to complete a quest or two every time I play it so I see no problems with the game, maybe the AI

My favorite ship in aop caribbian tales was the Lineship ("Ship of the Line 3th class" in real life) you know the one with the blue decorated sides. But these are rather rare.

I don't care. PotC and AoP was (very) good games IMO, so I can't wait for that game [but I won't be angry if they change that engine-Storm is too unstable:/)

It better not look like this when it comes out. Seriously, its 2008 not 2003. Update your engine, it looks horrid. This game should have the abition of being like the pirate version of Oblivion.
Not the same formula as the past 3 games that are basically the same but with added bits here and there.

@sh4dy49 It´s the frigate you start with if you choose Peter Blood as your character. It has 52 cannons and it´s one of the unique ships in the game.

There is an unofficial patch out for it that improves many areas including graphics i.e. visible crew when in first person onboard ship.
