Nuong ika-labing-anim na dantaon, nang magkaroon ng "madrigals", ang mga kumakanta ng mga madrigals ay nakagawiang umupo around a table to make music. So ito ang naging signature style ng Philippine Madrigal Singers.

mahirap kumanta ng nakaupo. and to be able to deliver a great performance in a tough position, ibang klase. their style is a contradictory of what is being taught usually, and that makes them special.

in my opinion, it's easier to sing while sitting. because in that position the diaphragm is more supported, easier to use. and, hindi nakakapagod, hindi nakakangalay. kasi sa practice namin nakaupo kami for 8-12 hours. that was when i was still a new member in UST Singers. pag bago ka kasi mas matagal ang practice.

opo! kasi pini-prepare na namin ang 100 voice orchestra at 150 piece orchestra para sa itatayong 50,000 seating indoor cathedral sa Davao City katabi lang ng International Airport. So kung ganun ka galing ang mga choir, talagang ma go-glorify ang Amang nasa Langit, so far kasi, singers lang meron, ala pang solid na choir talaga, sooner makakaroon na....
