Saffires have a short recovery arc anyway but to give you an idea on your canopies recovery arc. Up high pull your toggles down to near stall point then close your eyes, let your toggles up up cont how, many seconds your canopy dives for before it planes out. Eyes closed is best. And hey get some coaching from a pro swooper
Sangi I am very happy you survived that. Everyone tries to speak in definites as though all outcomes are predictable but that is not true. You survived this and you could have died on a less severe bounce so it was not your time. I wish you the best with whatever comes next.
I'm not insulting you or trying to be a 'bigger man' but you are an idiot. Ive read your posts for years and you insulted, and laughed in the face of experienced people and your friends who only purpose was to try and save your ass. I've read your post on S&T and im happy you are alive and have learnt from this. Shame you didn't listen in the first place and you could of progressed and become a good swooper.
your an idiot. a couple of meters back and you would of hit that concrete and you wouldn't be alive. I really hope you now change your arrogant attitude and learn from this. A good start would maybe read all your cocky comments on dz.com, then maybe try and listen to the advice that many people have been trying to give you.
@toottoot79 Nice to know there are people like you out there incapable of error in that you can sit in judgement of others. In actuality, You are the "IDIOT"
@aircaptain34428 Oh I am very capable of making errors, we all are, that is part of learning and being human. I sat in judgement of the pilot in this video because he was warned over several months that his arrogant attitude and blatant lack of knowledge and skills would get himself killed or seriously hurt or do the same to someone else. He was to much of a hot shot to listen to the advice of people who had seen people die making the same mistake. He laughed in there faces.

Well, I know about the philosophy of sofpidarf, but hey, that was about 180° too many. A little high for 90, a little low for 180, but dude, 270 degrees?!? what the heck were you thinking?! Glad you're alive!
Luzo blauzdikaulis, visiskai sutrupejo stuburo slankstelis, sukontuzinta sirdas, subliusko plautis, biski skilo kaukole, praradau apie 2l kraujo del vidinio kraujavimo.. kolkas negaliu valdyt koju, bet stuburo nervai nenutraukti, tik istine, reik laukt kol paleis ir dirbt reabilitacijoje, kad galeciau vel vaikscioti..
Get better man. Thanks for posting here and at DZ.com.
