  • Bachmann's totally clueless about gay marriage, primarily because she doesn't realize that she's in one.lol

  • THANK YOU CHENO!

  • i liked you kristin when i heard you sing the star spangled banner in SF---but you are an idiot and dont call yourself a christian---you dont know the bible---and you put your ignorance to light when you say the CRAP you just said here---

  • Kristin is a Cutie, its too bad she's so STUPID !!!

  • @53dumey shes an ultra hottie... but at 38, shes not married BECAUSE she is a religious nut.

  • Thank god Bachman's out.

Kristin is a delightful person :)

  • I've always been a fan of hers but now.... I LOVE HER!! <3 You Rock Kristin Chenoweth!

  • i am out of work over a year = gay rights are not on my mind = sorry

  • Oh my goodness, I love Kristin Chenoweth!!!!! :)

  • What a delightful woman.

    =)

  • Kristen is the cutest thing ever.

  • Homosexuality is not a choice but living as an open homosexual is a choice. People have to put the common good against their own perverse needs.

  • @Seaworldexists what good does it do to the common good, if a gay man gets married to a woman and leads an unhappy marriage. what dammage does it to the coomon good, if two gay men live together and love eachother? and most of all, why would it be anyone but the involved's business, whom they decide to spend their life with?

  • @lorofcb2 I didnt say a gay man had to get married I simply said they dont have to engage in gay behaviour. Gay realtionships undermines the institution of marriage because they change the essense of marriage away from something concrete- procreation into something abstract-love. Social institutions need to be founded upon reason not emotion. Gay marriage is not the first attack on the family just the latest.

  • @Seaworldexists institutions have to be founded upon reason exactly. marriage is a legal bond between two people, showing they belong together and giving them legal protection. marriage is NOT a religious institution as we all know.

gay relationships if we stick to reason and not emotion, does not undermine anything. all it does is give two men's or two women's relationship the same protection. after all, gay people pay taxes and have all the other duties as well deserving the same rights.

  • @lorofcb2 The reason we had marriage is to regulate sexual relationships. Before contraception people couldnt safely have sex without the consequence of pregnancy and marriage was a way to allow people to have sex without the risk of being unable to care for a child. The state gets involved because it also ensures the security of the next generation.

  • @Seaworldexists where the heck does it say that this is the sole reason that's just pretending to know.

  • @lorofcb2 I not sure what the sole reason your talking about is. My fundamental premise of my argument is that social institutions develop organically in response to human needs. Africa prior to European settlement had such institutions but now they are playing catch up with the west. It is a tainted civilization. Living justification for the star trek 'prime directive'. I would like to therefore focus on the west and our organic institutions.

  • @lorofcb2 Contraception made marriage unecessary for sexual relationships and yet we threw the baby out with the bath water (no pun intended) and lost the infrastructure to secure the next generation. I personally think we ought to get rid of contraception it has done no good and much harm to our society.

  • @Seaworldexists exactly, all those starving kids in somalia, eritrea and ethiopia this summer in places wher there's no contraception. what good has it ever done...

  • @lorofcb2 Sex is the life giving process and it is denegrated by homosexuals, contraception it becomes a mere perversity. We do not respect life if we do not respect sex.

  • @Seaworldexists we dod not respect life if we don't treat living creatures with respect

  • WHAT A SWEETHEART!!!! God I love watching a movie where you can see the actors and actresses and know that they're beautiful people in reality too!!! = D

  • omg that was a shock, she always plays such dum charecters on TV, its cool to see she is really intelligent, both her views and how she executed them

  • I find The Bible absolutely amazing if I don't take it literally.

  • All the awards.

  • WHAT AN ANGEL!!

  • Wait, Bachmann is BORDERING on homophobic?

  • @axcertypo LOL!

  • This reminds me soo much of my best friend and this just reminded me why I love Kristen Chenoweth

  • aww...i absolutely love her. i've always loved her but watching this just confirms it for me.

  • Love her. LOVE HER!

    G(a)linda forever!

  • Truly an angel on Earth. Bless her, she is so right.

  • Thank you Ms. Chenoweth, you are truly a bright light in this world :)

  • AMERICA NEEDS A WOMAN LIKE THIS TO RUN THIS COUNTRY! (I'm not saying THIS woman, but you never know)

  • I wish she were running instead of that nut Bachmann.

  • she is so cute...

  • I LOVE YOU EVEN MORE NOW!!

  • LOL 'I'm a Christian - are you crazy?" - yes.

  • @trollingandhating

The bible says that people should be stoned to death too. Stupid book.

  • Comment removed

  • @trollingandhating the bible also says that if you re not a virgin on your wedding night you should be stoned to death. it also allows slavery and the suppression on women under men. its a load of fairytales and no sensible, educated person would take it seriously

  • @buttbear78 how is your comment relevant to my point?

  • @trollingandhating because you were holding up the bible like its something to be taken seriously - when its a load of nonsense

  • @buttbear78 no i wasnt. where did i say that i take the bible seriously?

  • @buttbear78 if i see a jewish person eat pork and not get circumcised, then as an objective observer i can say that he is not a true jew. nowhere in my comment does that imply i take the torah seriously. you need to go back to school and stop jumping to conclusions.

  • Kristen for President? :)

  • Oh Kritin Chenoweth you are so sweet!

  • I LOVE HER.

  • i NEVER THOUGHT I COULD LOVE THIS WOMAN MORE - UNTIL NOW!

  • c'mon guys, a LOT of christians support gay marriage, and jews and surprise surprise muslims. if you went to a gay pride you'd see various religious groups with gay members marching and several churches (though often indiviually) of the christian faith not only support but perform gay marriages. so don't presume we're all the same okay.

  • That woman, that is all I can say. Kristin and her best friend Denny Downs are the reason that I am still Christian.

  • I love her even more!!! Hells yeah!!

  • More and More People need to call out both Michelle Bachmann and Rick Perry on this issue

  • What a sweet lady. =]

  • DAMN! It's nice to hear a christian in the media spotlight actually supporting homosexuals rights :D

  • Holy SH!T!! It's a real Christian!

  • Glinda!!! My love!

  • omg that was so nice of her to say this.. i wish there were more people who are nice and understanding like her in the world

  • The last part really touched me.... "GOD DOES NOT MAKE MISTAKES"

  • @Johncarson9113 Me too,. And I don't even believe in the guy. The only thing is, all of those crazies out there will say that gay people were tempted by Satan or the devil or whatever "evil" force there is into being gay.

  • One classy lady....Smart too.. :)

  • That's one classy christian lady. Take a lesson, Bachmann. What the hell, take a lesson Kathy Griffin.

  • Yay Kristin!!

  • Ive noticed something watching alot of these kinds of videos on youtube. The hate spewers have dead eyes and look dead on the outside as well as on the inside. Then when you see people like this woman. She radiates love and compassion and kindess, what a true Christ follower should project. For that is what he taught first and foremost.

  • Thank you, Kristin.<3

  • the bible is merely a guide not an instruction. no one can take everything in the bible literally. each passage has its own meaning to every person, and each passage is only suitable in certain places and in certain time periods. as long as you love god, love jesus, and love your fellow human beings, then your doing good.

  • i quite simply just love her.

  • She's amazing. However, before Glee, she was Glinda in the Broadway musical "Wicked". Just throwing that out there.

  • You go girl! That's what's up! Much respect for you.

  • I love her!

  • if all christians were like that we'd have peace on earth

  • @lorofcb2 that's the thing, not all Christians are like that. Unfortunately, the only kind of "christian" that the media is willing to represent to the world are often people who aren't christian at all. The media doesn't want normal people. They want the crazies because they're the ones who make good ratings. Why show a regular guy helping a homeless man when you have this batcrazy lady raving like a monkey? simple. she brings in the ratings.

  • Comment removed

  • @Kamikazu08 very true indeed. why show a normal tolerant loving christian, when you can have a shrieking lunatic. why show a normal gay guy when you can have a dolled up stereotype in pink dancing to 'i will survive'.

  • the way she said this was fantastic.

  • Oh bless you, Kristin. Voice of a goddess, cute as a button, and a lovely, lovely tolerent and sane human being to boot. It's amazing that so much love and heart is in such a tiny package.

  • Makes enough sense. She works in an industry full of gay folks, she obviously doesn't have issue with them.

  • I may be a Republican (despite also being an atheist) but I want nothing to do with Blowjob Bachmann. I have no problem with gays. It's their life and they can live it how they want.

  • This made me tear up a little bit because it made me so happy!

  • Love her!

  • Get Piers Moron off.....

  • WTF is a Mooslim

  • @2010CAS I was just going to comment on that. I think it is a weight loss product for cows

  • @2010CAS the correction pronunciation of Muslim.

  • "i don't want to be judged on what i believe" Then what else would you want to be judged on ??

  • I am sorry you feel that way. I will receive my reward, sorry that I can't meet you in heaven.l

  • The Bible does not make gueers. Thank God for Michele Bachmann.

  • @MrRobertcoe The Bible is a book about fairytales of a dead jewish zombie.

  • @MrRobertcoe What's a gueer? The Bible doesn't make anything, queers or straight people. Anyway you think Michele Bachmann is a God sent?

    P.S. Man created the bible.

  • @cory1337 That's true, the Bible didn't create anything, but the Almighty God did. We are all children of God, but, unfortunately, some have not accepted that fact and have gone on to live lives that are not following God's wishes. The Bible was written by man, but the words are God inspired.

  • @MrRobertcoe I actually think this comment is a really good one because of the fact that a lot of people don't realize that the Bible is something written by man. It's like playing telephone in grade school. One person says one thing and by the end of hte line the message is completely different. That's exactly what happened with the Bible, it was written, translated/interpreted, which makes it a product of man.

  • Take THAT Bachmann! p.s. I'm not voting for you :)

  • she's so sweet

  • Kristin Chenoweth, I love you. Anyone who disagrees with you on this is, IN MY OPINION, not following the teachings of Jesus and therefore not a true Christian.

    Love and peace always <3

  • @unshallowifyable I SO agree with you! I am a Christian, but my beliefs are that God loves everybody regardless of ABSOLUTELY anything you could think of. Thank you for promoting peace and tolerance.

  • Well put Kristin; a lovely lady.

  • Bless this sweetheart.

  • Kristin is... so perfect. I love her so much. She's so freakin' funny. And Cute.

  • My love for this woman has heightened.

  • Brings tears to the eyes of many I am sure, myself included. Kudos.

  • she almost makes me wanna be a christian.

  • @1Manny93 LOL me too hahaha

  • Amen Kristin Chenoweth :)

  • VOTE OBAMA.

  • OMG I want to marry this woman!

  • Comment removed

  • Well said!

  • thank you Kristin im not gay but i have friends who are and that means ALOT TO ME

  • @theCRAZYrandomGURLZ You need to stop worrying about what kristin thinks of your gay friends and worry about what God thinks about them. Kristin is a human being and has no authority over anyone in this life or the next one.

  • @MiamiPush2theLimit God loves everybody. :D

  • i freaking love kristen!

  • Kristin, the Bible says homosexuality is a sin. You cannot sit there as a Christian and say homosexuality is acceptable in your faith because that is a flat out lie. God made people who are thieves and murderers too but does that mean it's not a sin? Of course not. The nonbelievers here that are saying how great Kristin is. - um, she's a damn liar and not a Christian.

  • @MiamiPush2theLimit Christ taught us to love everyone. Think about it.

  • @xoxbeakyxox Of course he taught us to love everyone. You love the sinner, but you must reject the sin. Christ had sinners around him, but guess what, he never said their sins were OK. lol, just the thought of that is ridiculous.

  • @MiamiPush2theLimit I'm not sure why exactly you thought was ridiculous because you are clearly saying the sin IS the sinner. For the record, you Christians need to realize that the so-called sin is only in the act of homosexual love not BEING homosexual. Until you actually see two people of the sex getting it on, you have no proof that they have commited that particular sin. NONE.

  • @kallistiX1 no, I did not say the sin is the sinner. God doesn't love people for what we do, He loves us just because. BUT, sin separates us from God. Now, if you aren't christian, none of this should apply to you because obviously you don't believe it, so what is your problem? Why are you so concerned that a doctrine accepts a certain act if you don't even believe in that doctrine? I suggest you start your own religion that says homosexuality is A-OK.

  • @MiamiPush2theLimit My concern isn't with your religion, its with you people using that religion to legalize discrimination. Gay marriage isn't a spiritual issue. It's a political one. Yet, you people are using religion to block a civil rights for a minority in America. As an American, nothing could possibly concern me more. It's persecution and against everything that America stands for. THAT'S why I'm concerned. PS: My religion is A-OK with homosexuality and its been around longer than yours.

  • @kallistiX1 You keep jumping to different issues. If you're talking about gay marriage, I personally don't have a problem with that and I don't think the government has a right to dictate who can and cannot get married. I personally have a problem with the fact that you seem VERY CLOSED MINDED and JUDGMENTAL saying "you people" all the time is very offensive and "my religion has been around longer than yours" is so immature and ignorant.

  • @MiamiPush2theLimit What do you mean I'm jumping around?! The wholepoint of this video is about a "Christian" politician using her religious views to stand against American citizens having equal rights. I could not possibly have been more on topic. I personally have a problem with so-called 'Christians' claiming anyone who doesn't believe EXACTLY what they do isn't Christian at all. You seem very Judgmental and Closed-Minded. And, my religion DOES literally and factually pre-date yours.

  • @MiamiPush2theLimit

the bible also says not to wear clothes made from two diffrent cloths, to not eat shellfish, and not to work on sunday pretty sure alot of, in your opinion, fake christians do those things.

  • @AceofDiamonds0 um, no... Jewish people actually do those things, they follow those laws. Christians do not believe in those laws because Jesus brought a new way of life. Jews don't believe Jesus is God's son so they continue obeying the Old Testament and they are waiting for their Saviour still. Try again, dummy.

  • @MiamiPush2theLimit oh I didnt realize ignoring parts of the bible wasnt the same as cherry picking, stupid me.

  • @AceofDiamonds0 dude just say "I hate christians!!" you obviously dont understand them so, just keep on hating them.. why you gotta beat around the bush and spread rumors about 'em.. JUST SAY YOU HATE THEM.. that should be good enough, we will get the message!!!

  • @AceofDiamonds0 lol, if you were smart you'd also realize the bible is incomplete in it's current popular form. There are books missing. Being Christian doesn't mean you believe everything literally in the Bible. It means you accept Jesus Christ as your Saviour and you have a personal relationship with God. You're welcome.

  • Bordering on homophobic? She IS homophobic!

  • LOVE HER!!!!!

  • Kristen you rock!

  • Well said Kristen, well said..

  • "I believe that God doesn't make mistakes." Hit the nail on the head! How dare other Christians doubt other human beings, we're all made in God's image. Think about it. Would a gay person choose a life of persecution? I don't think so.

  • A christian that has christ like qualities. weird but great. sadly that is not the norm.

  • wow, its election time, time to parade out the dancing faggots, here comes the abortion people, lets warn the old folks about the republicans plan to cut there medicade and ss money, and who will help yur side, dat da da dahhh, Obama and Hillary. Wake the F*** up people. The people running our govt. for the past 40 years have taken care of nobody but themselves. The tea party, come join us! Or complain for another 40 years.

  • belief in an imaginary friend is idiotic no matter if your an extremist or a little old lady going to church on sunday.wake up and smell the bullshit people.

  • Kristin is missing the heart of Christ completely. By completely I don't mean 10 miles away, I mean an inch away. Her view of sin is too simplistic. There's a reason Wisdom became Flesh, dwelled among us and was murdered by us and its not because He wanted to make nice with sin. God is Love. And sin is distortion. Homosexuality is a functional distortion of the sexual design. He Loves us as we are, but because His Love is redemptive, He refuses to let us stay there. I'm guilty too...

  • God doesn't make mistakes with regard to the sexuality of people, therefore homosexuality is okay. On that grounds pedosexuality is also okay. And besides that this whole world is ful of people who go over the edge just because of their sexuality. The woman is talking nonsense. Shame on you Piers, that you accept it.

  • @bloepbloep200 @bloepbloep200 pedophilia is the correct term actualy. it is a mental disorder and it is in most cases a form of abuse. "Pedosexuality" as you call it is a slang and incorrect term in my opinion and only someone who views pedofelia as okay is@bloepbloep200 pedophilia is the correct term actualy. it is a mental disorder and it is in most cases a form of abuse.

  • @misscaitlin "Pedosexuality" as you call it is a slang and incorrect term in my opinion and only someone who views pedofelia as okay is labeling it as "pedosexual". Homosexuality is love between two consensual adults, as is heterosexual. "Pedosexual" as you call it is void since it is not fair to both parties to have a consensual relationship.

  • Very well spoken.

  • The 4 people who disliked this video are Michelle Bachman, Sarah Palin, Rick Perry, and Herman Cain.

  • "I don't believe got makes mistakes; and that includes a person's sexuality." I'd like to see people like Michele Bachmann babble on trying rationalize this statement away in a homophobic light.

  • @GhibliOmatiC lol God* not got. XD

  • she is mature

  • "cheers to all the homo sexuals who were BORN THAT WAY!!!! Because if you don't conform to accepting us, consider yourselves judged you homophobic religious nuts" I was born a homophobe stop judging me! Seriously

  • I don't trust religious people...cause it's fuckin crazy!

  • Say what you will about Michelle Bachmann [and I do] she is adhering more closely to the teachings of the Bible than Chenoweth.

  • I love Kristen she is so cute!

  • In other words, she thinks she's a Christian, but she thinks the Bible is b.s.

  • well said

  • I can't believe that Michelle Bachmann didn't know her husband was gay; so why did she marry him?

  • Good for her. Extremists are giving Christianity the same bad name that moslems are getting from their minority of extremists. I am transexual and my parents, Christians, hated it. I hated it. Everybody around me hated it. But the loved me so they helped me to be myself. They knew the person I was. That I had not chosen it. And although it goes against their religion to be like me, that did not stop them from helping me, even paying for my sex reassignment surgery. It´s called being sensible.

  • She's my new hero. lol

  • Completely respectable Christian. I never thought I'd say that.

  • so there's a religion called mooselim? niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice pronunciation...

  • The poor people who have suffered civil rights discrimination are rolling over in their graves. She has no clue on what is right or wrong. Christianity is not a cafeteria cherry pick moment. God doesn't make mistakes, and that includes people's sexuality! People choose God or reject Him. Kristin Chenoweth, chooses not obey God's commands. Disgusting!!

  • @icimblind Can we assume then that you have given all of your worldly possessions to the poor as Christ commanded?

  • I agree with Kristin.

  • nothing but jaws

  • I kind of feel bad for Piers. The poor bastard can't get anyone worthy of airtime on that pathetic program.

  • that was one of the most beautiful and well-presented things i have ever heard.

you're a really lovely woman and a great example to christians everywhere, kristin!
