odd i have a 2 yr old vizio 19 inch that hit the ground a few times and still works, a dead pixel is all i got in the far far corner but not noticable,
and my new vizio just got this month so far so good, had 2 samsung and a element burn out 1 yr after i bought them
just like 10 minutes ago i was playing metal gear solid 2 on my vizio 32 inch 1080p and it stoped so i though it froze but it still made noises when i did stuff so i restart my ps2 and the image is still there. turn off my tv and turn it on and its just vertial lines across the screen and you cant see anything only hear. hdmi looks like that AV1 looks like it regular cable looks like it.
its the bulb or something right? do i need a new tv or is it fixable on my own? please help
Mine does this if i leave it off more more than six hours about only for like 3 seconds when i turn it on and it really scares me cause im afraid it will get like this can someone please tell me if it will?
i have a visio 32in lcd and the same is happening to me. i took it in to get it fixed and they said they had to reseat the lvds cable. its been a week now and it started doing it again! i dont think its over heating cuz there is alot of vents on the back, nowhere for heat to get trapt. and it doesnt get hot anywhere.
Its an overheating power supply that causes this. The heat gets trapped inside the TV and causes the internal components to overheat. I fixed mine by installing a USB powered fan inside near the power supply to blow out the heat. Now it works perfectly. No special tools needed. These TV have an unused USB port in the back that you can us to power the fan.
tbh if you'd stop being such a yank and throwing footballs at your tv when your team loses this wouldnt happen

I bought a Vizio 32 LCD 2years and 3 months ago and it is now garbage. The display is shot and not worth repairing. No more Vizio's for this family.
