poor thing, kittens should b introduced 2 dogs slowly so they can get used 2 them, but this poor baby was bombarded by dogs at such a young age and the ppl don't even care 4 it's safety.

my kitten grew up with 2 big dogs (1 of which a german shepherd), and was introduced nicely, now all 3 get along like the best of friends, they even sleep together. but the way this kitten is treated, it'll grow up 2 h8 dogs.

I did the same thing with my two month old kitten and black lab (adult), I let them interact the first day, I stood there, watching, the dog nipped at him, and he scratched her. She learned not to do that again. And now? Kitty loves dog and dog loves kitty. They sleep together, they follow each other around. And I'm pretty sure if the dog did bite, the camera person would have stopped the dog him/herself. But the thing is, you cannot just pick up the cat everytime a dog does this behavior, what would the dog learn if you did that? & what would the kitten gain from this? That's the point i'm trying to state. So if what you say is correct, that is mentioning that the kitten wouln't learn anything but be scared, then its obviously a lose-lose situation for the kitten. So the best way would be to protect the kitten, but not entirely isolating it from the dog. I mean i know they will still be friends.

How I would do it is exactly how this person did it. I mean, the dog was only barking, if it bit, not nipped, then I would intervene. I can usually tell the dif between nip and bite. Just have to read the dog's body language. Straight tail, get the cat out of there, wagging tail, then keep watch, cuz that is playful stance
