  • This is very impressive but what I find strange about this video is it's like a foresight into the future since the whole series became CGI a year or two afterwards.

  • I might be good at CGI. :)

  • 3,591,102 VIEWS :O

  • Since I saw this in 2008, I take it the you will NEVER make any more cgi of this.

  • to my son like its funny

  • i miss thomas

  • i love thomas the tank engin shows but i likk this to but how do you get one

  • Nice! GhengisKhan44 its the same for everybody, he winks in the video.

  • i like the shaking effect you have put on him

  • lol! He winked at me!

  • awesome.

  • Could I make this Animation with GMax?

  • Won't know.

  • You made Perfection!

    Nice Job!

  • Perfect voice for thomas!

  • were do u get it?

  • He made it.

  • any tutorials on how to do this? I have vegas pro 9 and adobe elements 7 hopefully that is enough, any hints tips would be welcome.

  • Not sure what to suggest as I'm hopeless at giving decent advice. :-(

You need a 3D Program for one like 3D Max, Maya or similar.

(I'm not heard of, Vegas pro 9 and adobe elements 7)

It helps to start simple and slowly expand.

    And practice practice practice.

  • which program did you use?

  • what program did you use and where might i be able to get the program you used!

  • That's very well done :)

I still prefer the old models though.

  • Just asking but could u do one for the Thomas sister series TUGS aka Salty's Lighthouse?

  • Be an interesting challenge, but I don't think I can models tugboats to well.

  • Just do what u can. Would like to someone from TUGS like this :)

  • That's kind of what CGI will be

  • what does CGI Stand for

  • Stand for "Computer-generated imagery".

  • ok thx

  • Whoa...

  • Awesome. 5/5 :D

  • Creepy but cool

  • that is the best effects what did u use to make it

  • how did u make the engines

  • what website or thing did u use to make it

  • how did you do that?

  • Really Good! 5/5

  • Just think if the engines could really move their lips like that.

  • im afraid in season 12 they will

  • Comment removed

  • Well considering that the TV versions are made by a professional studio.

And that I'm still new to the 3D modeling.

I think I've done a decent job at the time.

  • Yeah, you did such a good job though!

  • Yeah (I wish I could do that...)!

  • Yeh? Well Its Now Happening On The Series!

  • WOW, THAT'S AMAZING!

  • Hello everybody! Welcome to the Island of Sodor!

I'm glad they introduced that line to the show.

  • Cool, have you tried to do an episode with the engines like this apart from Thomas.

  • To answer your question, sadly no.

I haven't made any of the other engines.

Unless you count the ones made for the simulation games, MSTS and Trainz.

But they were made in different programs.

However I often wanted to make an episode.

  • cool! But the mouth had better not move,; but ...

  • I know they don't move there mouths in the show.

I only made him move his mouth to test out lip-syncing to audio.

Something that I'm trying to get right in animation.

  • very cool

  • CooL!

  • Very Impressive. Great Job.

  • That's awesome, do you think maybe you might be able to help me sometime to make the engines eyes move in my model series?

I am not expecting you to say yes right at this moment in time, as i know you are very busy, and i would also like to offer you a part in my AOS series when you are ready :)

  • if i made a 3D thingy will i get a part?

  • Awesome!!!!!!
