this song is very hard for me to listen to. i was in my high school band and we lots of tradition. and this song is one of them. we played this song for initation for the freshmen at band camp, the last day of band camp, after we perform at state marching band, and on the band baquent.. my best friend is going into the marine's and i told him if he should ever die i'm gonna get tattooed.

Though I wasn't in the band, at my high school graduation, the choir joined the band and the two groups sang this song and it was very powerful. Especially for the band members. Amazing experience for me and I'm so grateful the band let us sing with them. :)
