  • Man its not Indian steam.Its British engineering masterpiece.The railway and locomotive used still are British ones ,except some new diesel locos.

  • India is indeed the Mecca for railway fans. Unfortunately they stopped using those Steam railways. But every country has the right to modernize, I guess.

  • The steam engine is still being used from coonoor to metupalayam , only the section between ooty to coonoor uses disel engine.

  • The rest of the country would be beautiful too if people planted more trees and stopped throwing plastic waste - bottles, bags all over the place to create the unholiest garbage dump everywhere you look.

  • @darranbt This mountains town is 7500 feet (2286 m) above sea level. The one you saw in SL may be the place called Nuralia. I think it is not that much tall

    In Thailand all steam locomotive has been become to diesel but only special event the steam locomotive will on board again!

  • Nice Videos, gone through all of ur vedios, and i think u have been really sucessfull to capture India in its true esscence, like the quality of detailing you have put in. btw in this vedio we come across a small station called Lovedale, this place has one of the best Residential International schools in India, The Lawrence High, my Brother passed out from this school.
