Going into this final Serena still had the knee and hamstring injurie, This was a fluke a pure fluke, if Serena was in perfect condition the score would have been something like at the aus open in 07.

Its just like when Azarenka won the miami final, pure fluke serena injured, Serena said there was no way she was pulling out of the wimbledon final, she had to try for it.

The only 2 times Sharapova has beaten Serena was in 2004 ,when not only was Serena dealing with personal problems and the death of her sister but injuries.

Serena clearly wasn't herself here...I could tell just by her demeanor...im not taking anything away from Sharapova,but the fact is...no one can,as you put it ,"OUTPLAY" Serena at her best...and she hardly grunted during this match or showed a sense of hunger and desperation like she usually does.

And Sharapova wasn't injured during those matches,she just got owned...she didnt have any major injuries that Serena had...Serena had just came off of knee surgery during this match..Sharapova had a slight shoulder injury which would only affect her serve and it only got worst because kept playing on it.Serena owns this b** 5-2
