Well.. Mary did laugh at the 2000 RG, which was actually pretty hurtful for Hingis, as that was her last real chance to win Roland Garros... as it turned out, she had to retire without ever winning The French open... and that was before her cocaine sniffing days... ;)

Well, Im sure Hingis did laugh at the rest of Pierce's results in major tournaments. I mean 2000 RG was her last slam, and her last final at the US open where she got steam rolled by Clijsters.

But I'm sure Hingis got a bigger chuckle when Mary destroyed her knee on court and screamed like a toddler. She probally cried the same way about her career after 2000 RG.
