  • crazy distance for a bike. ive make about 100 feet on my fourtrax with stock tires

  • how deep was the water i did thes one on my lt 80 acroos a 7 foot long mud hole and the water was wast high good times

  • Do yall still have the lids on your airboxes, or do yall have any kind of snorkles installed?? i removed the airbox lid and installed an outerwears airbox cover on my trx450 and was wondering if i would get water into my airbox

  • @stratton2012 lids are still there and needed. :)

  • youtube.com/watch?v=JcYTmNFz474

for more water skipping but with a dvx 400 and mx tires

  • Jesus was on that ATV

  • That was badass -very studly. Check out Lewy on "hydroplaning quad" too. He's completely on the water the whole time and pulls a wheelie on his way out of the other end.

  • Danny is f***ING crazy, and we like it!!!!!

  • sick ass vid guys u should make more crap like that lol

  • BADASS

  • that's pretty sick man. me and a couple of my buddies have done stretches around 300 feet, but we have stock tires (or very close to it). i've heard stories about a tricked out banshee devoted to hydroplaning with a small boat hull custom made for the skid plate. if i find a video i'll send you the link

  • That was awesome! We were doing that once and I was on a XR400 and the other guy water drifted into my path... both skimming until we hit. Hit with enough force it broke the triple clamp in half and destroyed the bike... got it on film but its pretty old.

  • Sweet.

  • How deep was the water? did he used special tires or gear ?

  • just dont run out of gas lol

  • hey to do that shit do you put any special tires? nice video.

  • Nice. I thought he was in for a swim on the 3rd run.

  • This is so awsome!

  • dude thats like a quad posesed by chris angel

  • Raptors are the new boats

  • Killer vid guys!

  • Fuck me that looked like fun!

  • Trip; I've never seen this before. I'm assuming you need rear paddle tires?

  • Water is about 100 foot deep. It use to be a gravel pit so the ponds and dredged really deep. So all the sand you see in the background has been pumped there.

  • pretty bad ass man

  • hes friggin lucky the other side was there on that last try lol

  • hes fuckin lucky the other side was there on that last try lol

  • Cool video! You should upload this to ATVScene . com to be entered in their Scene It Upload Contest. You can win a YFZ and a bunch of great prizes!

  • Crazy!

  • he almost dident make it to the end lol nice

  • sick

  • WOW now that is an awesome video scuzz700xx, not that it matters but im curious of how deep the water was. Again great video.. CHEERS

  • best quad-hydro video on here by far!! i'd b wayyyyy to chicken to try that on my banshee...

  • who needs a boat. XD

  • brillant video

  • @SuperJohnny520 Thanks! Cool huh!

  • @scuzz700xx by the way how fast were u goin or do u konw

  • @SuperJohnny520 I think he had 5th gear out at the time so he would have been at the top (or near to it) of 4th gear.

  • wonder how many fourwheelers are at the bottom of that :]

  • this is sick id like to try that one time except i have a honda 400ex

  • one more question is this possible without sand tires?

  • @ajhedgepeth07 Our buddy Nat, does the short run on his KFX700 with vampires on it. It's like a 60' run. I've heard you can with knobbies for a short run, but I haven't seen it.

  • Ok question to the guy filming did you also hydroplane the damn lake to get to your amazing vantage point?

  • @ajhedgepeth07

It's really a pit and has some 20-30 foot high walls (kinda like LARGE a bowl). I just rode around to the other side, sat down where Danny said it would look the best and started filming. :)

  • He somehow runs out of gas in the mid.....

    O shi- *glug* *glug* *glug*

  • next time im out that way ill hit it up the same way, the longest one i recorded on me was only 750ft, ill post it up pretty soon, good luck

  • Redneck jet-ski.

  • good way to clean you quad haa

  • ovo ma daj ako me razumijete

  • i've been there that water is about 200ft deep

  • what was that at the end you said?... WHU A HUH A HUHA HUH HOOO..

  • ya tengo una opcion al huirle a los policias

  • what if the water were 500 ft deep? What kinda tires would he need? Also how come Danny doesn't do a complete circuit around the lake? He seems frozen with fear. I say lighten up .. keep the wheels spinning and go for a tour or two around the lake. How about pulling an inner-tube? Just a suggestion. It would provide a convenient marker. Go Danny Go! Good luck to you son.

  • wow that takes some balls. I've only seen this done by TP and the nitro crew on dirt bikes. pretty damn sick

  • man this thing is crazy

  • love it!!!

  • ┌∩┐(◕_◕)┌∩┐ Fuck the new layout! ┌∩┐(◕_◕)┌∩┐

    But great Vid!

  • yall need to get the videos of riding on the rear wheels across the water... amazing

  • yeah everybody tells me to check the craigs list... wth is it and where can i have access to it?

  • google "craigslist" and then select your state on the right-hand side of the screen. After you select your state you will then be presented with a list of cities that are in that state. Select the city closest to you and then you can start searing for quads near you. Most likely they will be in either "motorcycles" or "RV's".

    Hope this helps!

  • Yeah a great fast quad would be a banshee 350cc. go to craigs list and youll find plenty of banshees or really any quad for great prices.

  • im looking at 7grand at my very very max! preferably used, if any ideas on a cheap bike, respond

  • Man, you can get virtually and sport quad with that much except for maybe a KTM 525XC. Even the Honda 700XX's are going for $4900 OTD. Used you can get some real deals. The 700r Raptors are also very, very nice and reliable.

  • yeah i was, or still am dying to get the KTM 450 ..i just love the looks on it but when i checked the price it was pretty darn expensive

  • @zackownsathalo3 i have one.. but i race.. well worth the money!

  • @scuzz700xx Exactly! 7 grand goes a long way.

  • ha ha ha -- go danny !

  • does he have paddles on?

  • Yep!

  • does anybody here have a good i dea on a cheap bike i can buy? as long its a known brand

  • How much are you looking to spend? Check your local Craigs List; it's an excellent source for a face-to-face purchase and cash deal.

  • Bad ass!

  • how deep was the water

  • In the middle, Danny said that when he tried to touch the bottom he ran out of air before he ran out of water. It's deeper then 5' pretty much 3' off of the banks though.

  • I did it on a 250R three wheeler ,, Very cool ..

  • Way cool!

  • AWSOME!

  • Awesome!! Love the vid :)

  • Amazing, makes me wish i got the raptor over the 450. The torque the raptor makes really helps when attempting this.

  • Yeah I really think so. They have a few 525's out there (KTM & Polaris) that do it with ease though also.

  • one word, WOW!!

  • he makes it look easy, but it`s not !!! i have tried this before in my 700, no paddles because where i ride i dont need them, and i have done it 1 time only, and is less than the half of this lake!!! the other 4 times i have tried i flipped out

  • that is cool

  • That is sick, I didn't think a quad could hydroplane that far! I bet those paddles help for getting across the water. 5/5

  • @RPDXC

Yeah! You should see it in person. You would never think a quad could do that...and with such ease. Well, Danny makes it look easy.

Thanks for your post and you rating!

  • I would be fishing there the lake looks awesome!!!!

  • 5/5 Best quad hydroplane on youtube

  • Thanks for watching, the rating and the reply!!!

    -Scuzz

  • the wake is sick

  • thats wats good....is that a 660 or 700

  • I think he's running a 12:1 - 727.

  • @scuzz700xx actually i think it's 11:1 734 trinity

  • @chadrp1022 That's it! Thanks Chad!

  • Thank you all for all the replies and ratings!

  • awesome dude!!!!!!!!

  • Thats rad, just a tip but its sorta like cheating haha put some tin pieces of metal under it, it makes em stay up just a little bit longer.

  • DUDE! THAT WAS SWEET!

  • Thanks!

  • one of best video on youtube.. nice work :)

    5/5

  • Thanks for the reply and I'm glad you enjoyed it!

  • damn! that was sick!

  • Thats REDONKULOUS!

  • damn good but he uses the paddle tires not front as your description says .... rear for sure!

  • Thanks for watching and commenting! I'll edit the description to be a little more clear.

    Thanks again,

    Gary

  • How deep is the lake? I would be scared to lose the quad if I did not make it

  • You run out of air before you run out of water.

  • Dang SCUZZ! almost 59 thousand views in less then 2 months! NICE! are you guys done riding for the year?

  • Thanks to you and everyone who told a buddy and they watched! Danny and I are no way done riding for the year, as a matter of fact we will be out there this weekend. Danny's out there every weekend (weather permitting). We will also have a new and very entertaining video coming up. Stay tuned!

    Thanks again,

    Gary (scuzz)

  • 100% real.. damn dude has balls to do it.. and he must not weigh more than about 180

  • fake (:

  • Real :)

  • awesome

  • @Krlkpro Thanks!

  • he pulled a jesus

  • The Jesus on The Quad

  • simply amazing

  • Yep. Thanks for watching!

  • Actually he hits it 3rd gear and doesn't even need to hit WOT (wide open throttle). The quad does it so easy it's not even funny.

  • danny is the man! what gear does he hit the water and how much throttle?

  • What gear is he in and does he just pull up on bars lean back and nail it

  • This sick what gear is he in and does he just pull back on bars and nail it.

  • I saw him do it today

  • i was there today but missed it...

  • Next weekend (weather permitting) there should be a bunch of us out there. I'm even going to try it.

  • 700waterbug is looking forward to scuzz skimming. cya there. you may need the old man to help ya.......................

  • I'll definitely need the old man's help! :P

  • This is my familys land... it is no longer a working gravel pit. The lakes are shallow at the bank but after about 15ft out into the lake, they drop off way deep.. at one lake it is like 75ft or deeper... I had a fish finder that couldn't read the depth...

  • It is a working sand pit though, maybe not at that exact spot, but in area 4 they're still taking sand out.

  • taking sand out.. back before my time it was a gravel pit. They pumped gravel from those ponds and then seperated the sand from it. Thats how the ponds got so deep. The dam broke in the late 70s or early 80s not sure exactly but when it did it made the different ponds, they used to all be connected for the most part, if i remember what my grandpa told me right.

  • That is truly amazing!

  • That was insane! What was the depth of the water any idea? 5*

  • Danny says it's about 15-20 feet, but I'd be willing to bet it's deeper since that place is a working sand pit.

  • Danny makes it look so easy!

  • dude that last one was insannneee!

    awesomeee.
