    Synonyms to skepticism are: distrust, distrustfulness, dubiety, incertitude, misgiving, mistrust, mistrustfulness, query, reservation, doubt, suspicion, uncertainty

    Empiricism: the practice of relying on observation and experiment especially in the natural sciences.
