Hey man i hate to bug with such a big question but i cant seem to figure this out myself. OK, Reason's Mixer has 14-channels right, and the MPD 26 has 6 sliders. I figured out how to control the first 6 from my MPD but is it possible to control the other 8 channels from the MPD?? If so can you PLEASE help me out dude..

@killerfly1 You have 4 banks to choose from (A-D) on the MPD. Load each bank with a different set of sounds, then switch banks to play the different samples on the same pad.

@dhsmith: In Ableton preferences, my MPD26 doesn't show up as a control surface, but don't sweat it. As long as you can select it in the midi ports/sync/remote/track section, you're good to go. Strangely enough the MPD26 doesn't have as good online support / articles as the MPD24, I have no idea why.

As for Vyzex, it's kinda hard to explain in words how to configure it, maybe you could do a search on youtube to see if anyone has posted any tutorial videos?

set the release all the way up and the polyphony to one or mono. so you dont have to hold the pads down :)

In this particular layout I can choose to cut a sample off at any point if I choose to, instead of letting it play out as a one shot. This was a very early video anyway. These days my mapping is pretty much like how you described in most cases :)
