  • where can i buy one?

  • Best. Coaster. Ever.

  • i see that magnet under the glass :P

  • @Dri0m

    Thats how it works.

  • What kind of Sorcery is this?

  • last of the mohicans...nice

  • for some reason, i think true anti-gravity will not have anything to do with magnetism itself, but will have more to do with special relativity. gravity being an observed force of the mass of a body as it warps space-time near it. i also think we as humans place too much reliance on visual effect rather than cause (example: the sun going around the earth or the earth being flat). One day "Gravity Shielding" may be possible by simply thinking outside the box.

  • That song in the background is always used in my BSA troop when the Cub Scouts cross-over into the Boy Scouts.

  • what puzzles me is the giant man with the giant glass of whine

  • @mittlykkepass hahahah. so good.

  • they should have put this in star wars

  • Voodoo magic

  • omg awesome bg music

  • Try doing this after 3 liters of Frosty Jacks

  • thats not a magnet its fake

it did not even flutter when he added liquid weight in the form of water which a eight pounds per gallon

  • @prvtlongarm You, sir, are a moron. Or a troll...which inherently makes you a moron. Either way, it IS a magnet. It's the base of their floating globe, which is removable. You can then "levitate" that base alone and sit whatever you want on top of it. Although weight is a factor, the electro-magnetic base (the silver rounded base on the table) also contains a sensor which controls (to a certain extent, obviously) the distance at which the item will "levitate".

  • @300Z31 I thumb up your comment, but don't feed the trolls. It encourages them to beg for more. XD

  • @blackjack801 This is quite true. But I do actually enjoy the fact that this troll has an accurate knowledge (probably thanks to Wiki) of the weight of liquids.

  • @300Z31 Indeed, it is quite rare to find a troll with some accurate knowledge. Must be a half-breed.

  • Then you spill it and realize it was a bad idea...

  • I have the same technology holding things on my refrigerator- its called a magnet. Make a wine glass made out of nothing but glass "levitate" and then you might turn some heads.

  • @Hodmokrin your an idiot

  • Duh, Breaking the laws of physics, winning!

  • What is the name of the soundtrack guys?nice vid so!!!

  • @toutounas It's the soundtrack of the last of the Mohicans. See video 2pCv7k_Hzvg

  • hahaha last of the mohicans

  • Air is blowing on it holding it up

  • @awesomedude319783 I would sooner expect it to use electromagnetism.

  • @awesomedude319783 a fan that size couldnt hold up a empty glass

  • im jealous

  • quite pointless if you have to set it down so carefully

  • That is really awesome, How could I do something like that? I got Neodymium magnets ( sorry for the spelling) the magnes are small 5 milimiters diameter.

  • need 8 seconds just to put the glass

  • i have only one question... what about the car?

  • magnet on the botom of a glass and that white thing is also a magnet

  • Gulp! Merlot.

  • The song is from the last of the mohicans sound track.

  • WHATS THE SONG?!?!@!?@

  • another who discovered the magic of magnetic levitation.....what can i say,,,,,,

  • Does it work with whiskey?

  • @mormanman13 Ofcourse not! Don't be silly

  • if i'm not mistaken that background music is from "Last of the Mohicans"

  • GOOD MUSIC

  • its a levitron

  • This is done with a two VERY VERY strong magnits... one in the black bce of the

plastic cup and ont in the bace its on... notice at 0:27 it looks as if the bubbles are spinning, thats because they are... the whole cup is spinning! that is 2 strong magnits and one continues motion makeing it stable. there is a north part of the bace magnit (outer edge) and a small weak south magnit (center of bace) that provides the cup to stay centerd as it floats.

  • you can see the magnet at the bottom of the glass

  • @turbotonic27 You don't say...

Now can they put a drunk frog on there for good entertainment?

  • this is just insane

  • burn the witch!!

  • I heard u could put up to 12 oz on that thing, pretty cool tho I want one.

  • @69mrcrash amazon sell one for £65 i put the link down below

  • DOES THE WORLD NEEDS THIS?

  • @andr3s7304 Levitation itself can be useful in industry. But in this case it is another way for show in front of the guests or to make ur blond girlfriend think that u r a magic man :)

  • Comment removed

  • @turbotonic27 well thats more realistic than avatar

  • @turbotonic27 Amazon(.)co(.).(.uk)/dp/B002W8IH4Y/ref=asc_df_B002W8IH4Y1618515?smid=A2Q8731XH6MUG7&tag=kelkmp-toys-delta-21&linkCode=asn&creative=22242&creativeASIN=B002W8IH4Y i dissagree take away the brackets

  • Its bewitched! haha nive video

  • wher can i get a low cost levitation device?

  • at 0:22 i was like: o.o oh shit oh shit!... at 0:24 i was like thank god

  • I call bullshit 0:36 the way he picks it up it is clearly sitting on something, not levitating

  • @KidMoneyFresh420 yes, right after he clearly takes the stick and goes under the glass to show that it's actually floating...

  • @lazorzez hmm look at chris angel and how he walked across water and yet had people in front of him to make it seem real. I bet you still believe in santa clause eh?

  • @KidMoneyFresh420 -_- trust me, i've actually seen this with my own eyes...

  • @lazorzez if its real i take back what i said but if not then i still call bullshit lol

  • Where's Debbie Magee?

  • Hi, how they are operated under a glass is a magnet? in the middle of the coil in a box or whatever it is?

  • how much weight does it support?

  • I love this video! The only thing that bother me, is the fact that ur so careful. Will the wine spill if ur not careful? Is there an imbalance? I mean, I wanna experiment with this. Think about how we could change the world with this...If we could somehow make the magnet strong enough to hold the object "still" to the point where we could just lay the glass, in other words, I could almost fling the glass and it would hold itself. People would be able to do all sorts of things with this.....

  • #FAIL

  • why didn't the glass get pushed down a lil when the wine was being poured???

  • @hackn101 it looks like Flux pinning but i have no idea how they do this at room temp, this is awesome and i want to know how it works, and i want one of these for my house =D

  • waths the background song ????????????

  • @Croky92 The Last of the Mohicans soundtrack

  • @albikers always thought the guy sang: The last og the norwegians.. oh well :P ty!!

  • @Croky92 Last of the mohicans - Ennio Moricone

  • it magnets cuz there r hidden magnets on the bottom of the cup thats y the bottom looks thick.

  • magnet

  • the future of alchholics

  • @d3adinside1234

i hope your future includes more school..

  • @d3adinside1234 LOL :DDDD

  • @d3adinside1234

    hahaha :)

  • and that's how david coperfield's magics are revealed....

  • why haven't bars invested in these yet?

  • Comment removed

  • That's easy, magnets :) really strong ones.

  • @ILIYYILI Uhh no duh, that's a way levitation can be achieved.

  • song??

  • Superconducting Levitation

  • you should make more of those and sell them

  • WERE CAN I BUY ONE ONLINE? PLEASE ANSWER.

  • nice

  • its not photoshop, this really exists, i can buy one for aluminam cans for 50 euros, and becides, how good would an xbox sell if i bould this into one??

  • wow, nice photoshopping skills

  • nah they probably got drunk and imagined that the glass is flying

  • @kikiriki94 lol was the camera drunk too :P ???

  • Cool. But i think i kno2w how to do that.

  • magnet

  • psshh... its not rockkit science anyone can do that XD 5/5

  • I can do that but i dont wanna levitron!

  • Tony Stark Should Start Thinking Of A New Idea Now XD

  • yeah have a drink u deserve it.

  • forklift

  • the wine glass turns towards the wine bottle when he goes to put it down, plus with a bit of angleing he could of easily gave the appearance of going around it with his hand. a see through container to put under is not hard to find.

  • @spencer16143 its electromagnetic levitation. quit trollin.

  • It's called "Levitron"! The white base is a magnetic disk and the base of the glass another magnet.

  • I wonder how difficult that gets after a few glasses...lol

  • @MrCosteffective For what today's idiots may use tomorrows tech inventions ... for stupid things...

  • Where do I buy it? thanks

  • Because spilling your drink isn't easy enough as it is.

    Awesome though.

  • O_O

  • wait is this that thing with the liquid nitrogen and the magnets

  • you mean a superconductor?

  • no, this is purely permanent magnet + electronicaly controlled electromagnet assisted floatation.

    no ultra low temperature needed.

You can buy mass market version of this

    by fascinations.

It's called Levitron Revolution Ion etc.

  • no this is electromagnetically controlled levitation

  • soooo ..... cheers then!!

  • ok, where can I buy it?

  • Wow. Pretty cool.
