  • @ dogoodforothers....Getting "high" or not, we should see what WORKS, and in what form, and use it to help people heal. Period. Enough of the politics. This is LIFE we are talking about here!

  • @dogoodforothers There is nothing bad about getting high anyway... It makes people happy and has little if any harm. It certainly isn't more harmful than cigarette smoke or alcohol.

  • I have seen vids on juicing the plant, and they discussed how burning the plant changes the structure of the THC. This makes more sense; and folks were not getting "high" from it but rather they were able to get a maximum dose of the active healing chemicals (and there are much more than THC in the plant, perhaps some that have not yet been identified).

  • "Mom can we get a submarine sandwich on the way home"......... "I got the fuckin munchies bad!!!!"

  • except you gave him the cannabis too late, look at harvard medicals cases of thc decreasing the size of tumors, crazy huh no wonder its a schedule 1 drug, cures too many things

  • You are one of my heroes, Dr. Grinspoon. It's nice to be able to reference you as an intelligent individual who can make valid arguments for cannabis legalization.

  • I'm very glad we have Dr. Grinspoon on our side. That's a very touching story.

  • Medical marijuana helped Peter McWilliams too-he no longer had nausea and vomiting. Too bad he wasn't allowed to continue using it, no thanks to the federal government.

  • The anti-marijuana campaign is a cancerous tissue of lies, undermining law enforcement, aggravating the drug problem, depriving the sick of needed help, and suckering well-intentioned conservatives and countless frightened parents. - William F. Buckley, 1983

  • Geez, now I want a submarine sandwich ... (or a Beach Club Unwich from Jimmy-Johns).

Bless you Dr. Grinspoon for looking beyond the tunnel reality set up by the Dominator Culture and for speaking the truth as you see and understand it :)

  • i cured myself of 'borderline schizophrenia' & impotency using marijuana. 80% sativa & 20% indica worked best for me. i don't take it anymore. there is no physical addiction to it.

  • one of the teachers at my school taught us for PSHE where we learn about drugs, sex etc. and she was "teaching" us about drugs and we had a debate and one of the points was medicinal marijuana. the dumb bitch said "do you honestly think anyone ACTUALLY uses it for medical reasons?" thinking she was so smart and ahead of everyone. I'd like to see her ask anyone that again after seeing this.

  • @SebbeSucksBawlz There is a place for Marijuana.. it helps with all kinds of problems such as Asthma, Chronic pain, dementia, schizophrenia, brain tumors, cancer, vomiting, depression, crones disease, gout... and its a good source for ethanol... paper and so much more! but because MARIJUANA IS NOT FOR EVERYONE it can cause effects such as short-term and working memory loss and most important psychosis.. I know this from watching my cousin lose his mind! so to much of a good thing can be bad.

  • @SebbeSucksBawlz My gf is in a dependence and addiction class with a professor who has a long background as a drug cop. She ASSURES her class that marijuana is bad and addictive. Luckily we're compiling a report for the open debate come end of the semester that included a lot of Dr. Grinspoon's work.

  • its so sad to see sutch a young boy die to early:( Dr grinspoon i will never forget you, you are a gift to mankind, keep up the fight for free cannabis:)
