I thought he actually did good, but I thought he could have added more gutteral sounds while still keeping the kind of whispery voice. I AM PISSED HOWEVER that hollywood had to remake the movie. Look at Fri teh 13 look at the Karate Kid look at all the other remakes that have failed.

Rorshach dropped his journal into the newspaper office, and at the the end the fat kid picks it up to publish it. In that journal rorshach wrote all the truth, and so there is no "fact" that the world was saved. Just because they decided to end the story there doesn't mean that it had a happy ending.

Exactly, Rorshach didn't get to personaly tell the world the truth but his journal will. Those millions were killed for nothing now. He turned out to be smarter than everyone in the end. His integrity was extremely admirable.

If you notice in the comic, rorschach was crying as he says "do it"... even jackie's expression in the movie depicts that rorschach definitely doesn't want to die... but rorschach realizes that it's inevitable, since he's facing dr. manhattan.

Yeah, he was in horrible psychological pain. In the book it's clearer. He tells Manhattan to kill him, and Manhattan gives him a chance to give up but Rorschach just tells him to do it. He wanted to die, but he wanted to die with dignity and pride and meaning. What better way to die than to save the world when doing so?
